Diluc
Doesn't know how to react when you gesture for a floating green glob to approach him. He gives you a death stare. "You do know this. . . thing might end up in one of the wine crates by accident? the winery isn't the safest place for a 'pet' or whatever you intend this to be. . ."
Accepts it anyway because gentlemen don't refuse gifts. he leaves it to the maids at first but it keeps following him around that he's forced to look after it (he's saved it from being trapped in fermenting wine barrels a handful of times).
Eventually comes to accept it, but also tries to make use of it. "We need to have a better way of communicating. Can you understand morse code? . . . no? squeak twice if yes. Now what about turning you into a spy. . . too difficult? then how about a delivery bird?"
Ayato
He found it amusing but also questionable because why on teyvat would you give a seelie as a gift? it's an odd present to receive that's for sure, but he accepts it anyway.
Has a habit of teasing his new little red friend. Often pokes it, either with a pen or his finger. He's tried offering it boba milktea once but couldn't figure out where the mouth was.
Wanderer
This guy would give you the weirdest look, "looks like you're not all right in the head, because a seelie. . . pet? ha, there's something you don't hear everyday. insane."
he is an absolute bully! would poke his seelie multiple times just to hear it squeak. if it squeaks a lot, he'll trap it in his hat and keep it on a table. eventually does grow fond of it, having something rely on him gives him... purpose, makes him feel needed, and it's nice to have something his (but he'll never admit it).
may share his hat with his little golden friend!
Zhongli
He's just really glad you thought of him to give the seelie to! they have quite the history and he'll tell you all about them as you give him the pet!
although seekies tend to be quite squeaky loud, his becomes very well behaved. (zhongli simply smiles and shushes it gently, telling it to read along with him if it wants, and the seelie would settle down). they become a very calm pair, casually reading or drinking tea, strolling down the harbor. seelie likes to rest on his shoulders!

⌗ he would very much take them out on dragonspine to look at the scenery or to simply relax by the bonfire.

the gentle breeze from dragonspine’s mountains was very relaxing. peaceful and quiet, like it should be.
all that can be heard is the sound of albedo’s shoes moving against the ground. cyan eyes that are focused on the task before him while he carefully examined the materials laid out on the table. until –
boom!
little cries were heard and it echoed throughout the walls of his laboratory. his hands fumbled against the wooden surface and quickly rushed over to where the sound is. low and behold, he saw a little girl in red presenting his daughter with a small, bunny bomb.
“klee!” albedo yells from his position, rushing to take the explosive and set them aside away from his still-infant daughter. his baby was sniffling and crying, feet clumsily making a fuss and hands which searched for her father’s presence. albedo gently picked up his daughter from her baby chair and wiped the tears away from her eyes, pecking her cheek for her to calm down.
“there, there. it’s okay.” he quietly hushed the crying child and soon, the baby dozed off into dreamland.
he laid her down onto the cradle and placed a stuffed toy beside her. feeling relaxed, he turned his attention to klee who was rubbing her head in both embarrassment and guilt. “sorry mister albedo.. she looked bored so i wanted to cheer her up! but i guess it didn’t work.” she said, pouting.
with klee’s sweet apology, albedo felt his heart soften. seems like he has not one, but two children to take care of.
ayato ; pillar of fortitude
⌗ as the sole head of the kamisato clan, he’s bound to at least have two or three children !
⌗ he is very charming towards his kids which earned him the title ‘prince’.
⌗ he absolutely ADORES children, and i mean very.
⌗ oh and one final thing, he’s very clumsy when it comes to his children.
“papa!” your daughter waddled over to where ayato is seated and stretched out her hands for him to notice. “hmm, yes my darling?” ayato picked her up from the ground and let her sit on his lap.
“papa, tie my hair p’ease?” she turned around and presented her messy hair to her father in which he nervously chuckled. he grabbed a comb and carefully styled her hair with small braids that are obviously made by an inexperienced person. meanwhile his daughter was flapping her arms happily and waited patiently for her kind father to do her hairstyle.
after it was finished, ayato let out a faint sigh and gave her a kiss on the cheek. fatherhood was tougher than it seems. the little girl giggled and gave her father a kiss back, “thank you, papa!”
ayato gave the gentlest of smiles and carefully placed her back down on the floor. he watched how the girl ran across the room and showed off her cute braids to her other siblings.
squeals and shock emerged from the three and two of his other children flocked over to ayato and gave him puppy eyes.
“papa, tie my hair too!”
“me too, me too!”
two children were clinging to his pants and were being total sweethearts. really, he might be the happiest person right now. his pride and joy, his beloved children. just then you were passing by the room and chortled at the sweet sight, and by instinct, ayato leaned up to see you smiling at the entrance.
“seems like you’re quite busy.” your eyes trailed down to your children, then back to your husband. “well, what can i say? they take after me.” he said, referring to their spontaneous bursts of energy, eyes boring into yours with nothing but pure adoration laid out.
you smiled pleasantly and he chuckled, setting the important papers aside and planned to spend the rest of the day with his family.

diluc ; the shadow of dawn

the whole ragnvindr manor was busy, much more now that a new addition was added to the family. diluc was anxious, obsessed with the details concerning the baby room. “master diluc, the furniture that you ordered has arrived.” adelinde, the head maid, said as the still-worried diluc looked at her and nodded, clearly in distress.
but thank goodness his wife appeared at the right moment, and just when he was about to break, your soft voice brought him back to the present. “diluc?” his eyes dart to your form, crimson eyes that shifted from surprised to worried. “y/n, what are you doing? you should be in bed.” there he seemed like a total lovesick man, no boundaries and no embarrassment, just pure and genuine concern for his wife.
“i’ll take a walk around the garden, our little one is quite energetic you see.” your lips morph into a smile and your hand came up to your belly to rub the growing bump. “but–”
“ah-ah, the physician said that i need to stretch my limbs once in a while. besides, i’ll be alright so don’t worry about me okay?” he hesitates, then proceeds to let you go with a tight-lipped smile. “okay.” but before you went out, you quickly made haste and pulled him close for a chaste kiss to assure him of your utmost health and safety. he was left stunned and his face grew a bright shade of red as he watched you turn to your heel and go out the door.
“adelinde.” his voice left serious and stern made the poor headmaid look up with an anxious look, yet despite his gruff personality, his actions showed a very baffled man that’s willing to go lengths for his spouse.
“from now on, purchase every item my wife’s eyes land on, that includes everything that she talks about. also give a raise to the physician, he’s doing a good job. and the—”
“—toy rattles, we’ll purchase the one made from the finest materials as you ordered, master diluc.” adelinde took note of these and diligently went to do her work. as he sauntered to one of the windows he could see you admiring the grapevines outside the winery.
his arms were crossed and observed you with utmost monitoring. “also,” his voice coming out in a quiet whisper, “tell elzer to construct a greenhouse with an abundant set of grapes. oh and make sure not to say a word to my wife about it.”
kazuha ; scarlet leaves pursue wild waves

⌗ he’s a loving father but he often goes out on ‘trips’ that can be considered quite dangerous.
⌗ he would create a whole album full of written poetries and tons of baby pictures.
“honey?” your voice called out to him, bed head still evident in your appearance as he flinched and turned around with an awkward smile on his face. “yes, love?” he managed to croak out and you gave him a questioning look, approaching him with quiet footsteps until you were by his side and looked down at what he was doing.
a scrapbook, another set of baby pictures, and poetries.. again.
he pouted, staring right into your soul and you almost blurted out that he looked so cute at that exact moment— but momentarily restrained yourself from doing so. “won’t you go to bed?” you sit down beside him and let your hand drift against the smooth surface of the paper that he was writing on. delicate and skilled handwriting was shown in short stanzas, words carefully picked and you will know almost instantly that a person of such expertise has made this intricate form of poetry.
“mm, just a moment.” his voice was coarse which then made you worry for him. “hold on, i’ll make tea.” you get up from your seat and head straight to the kitchen, soon walking to the living room with a tray in hand along with a neatly folded blanket. you carefully set the tray down and pour him tea, noticing how his eyes shifted to your hands and to your lips. just then, his hand snaked against yours and he brought your hand to his lips, pressing a soft kiss onto it. his eyes were still focused into yours watching how your mouth was slightly agape and then closed quicker than his own eyes can comprehend.

“anyways, we should–”
“ba?” familiar cherry-colored eyes were staring at the both of you and the infant immediately giggled at the sight of his parents. as if by parental instinct, you and kazuha both scramble to pick the baby up and bring him back to the nursery. kazuha carried his son back to his room while the little boy was making a fuss and grabbing onto kazuha’s hair locks, though kazuha himself didn’t mind much.
kazuha brought him back to bed and quietly sang melodious tunes until the baby drifted off to sleep. you soon entered the room with a small, thick blanket and placed it atop of the baby's body. the next thing you know, you and kazuha were both laughing and looking up at the ceiling, giggling to the struggles of parenthood. after a few minutes of tranquility, your laughter died down as he felt your head bump against his shoulder and he smiled.

xiao ; vigilant yaksha

xiao’s eyes stayed alert as he scanned through every spec of monsters that are passing by the inn. as he peered down the window, a soft cry startled him and he looked over to see his newborn daughter fumbling her hands around in search for attention. you flinched and woke up to the all-too-familiar sound of your daughter wailing. dark eye bags were hanging underneath your eyes and your complexion was paler due to the lack of sleep.
you sat up and soothed your crying daughter, yet your efforts failed which caused her to cry louder, this time her cries were turning into high-pitched shrieks and caused you to become even more confused on what she wanted. just then xiao’s body towered over the small child and picked her up in an unexperienced way, hands shaking and absolutely tentative so to not press down too hard.
“xiao!” you shouted, horrified by the position he’s holding her in. “i can handle this... you just sleep, you need it.” he urged you to at least get a wink of rest, eyeing your ragged figure. you couldn’t exactly argue with that so with a minute of hesitance, you accepted his proposition and retreated to bed. he sighed with relief, pulling the covers over you and going outside to the terrace. now preoccupied with a daughter in hand, he shifted her to a much comfortable position.
“you’re quite troublesome aren’t you?” her cries soon ceased and she only looked at her father with wonder in her eyes. he never thought that this .. small human being is his, and that he created it with you as proof of your underlying love for each other. “..so small.” he mumbled against the baby’s soft hands which reached up for his face, touching his cheeks ever so often and smiling whenever her father’s hair brushes her face.
xiao’s lips skimmed over her fingertips, and, trailed off to her forehead, giving it a kiss before withdrawing.
maybe he can let down his walls for once, just for you and his daughter.

it was just another day in liyue, nothing too special. the bustling streets were crowded and noisy, busy from all the merchants and customers that come and go, commercial ships that land against the port of liyue harbor and carried the best materials made for everyday living.
unbeknownst to the unperturbed atmosphere of the city, there’s a lady whose energy had completely drained and was now absorbed in a deep, peaceful sleep. all that can be heard are loud but tiny cries and a father who’s anxiously rubbing his hands and looking between you and the babies, yes, twins.
“you can hold them now, mr. zhongli.” the nurse gently placed the babies inside the cradle just next to you. he approached them and he was in awe. a boy and a girl, both holding zhongli’s beautiful chestnut-colored hair.
slowly, they both open their eyes and began to see the beauty of their surroundings. they blinked a few times before seeing their father completely in sight. “hello, my babies, my twins.” zhongli felt his heart flutter when the babies gave him a faint smile as if immediately recognizing who he is.
he observed how the two infants caught sight of his hand and tried grasping it cutely with their own tiny hands, struggling and huffing when they failed. carefully, zhongli removed his gloves and grazed his finger upon the babies’ cheeks, watching how they cuddle against it and lovingly beamed from the warm, fatherly affection.
and with that, zhongli felt his cheeks warm up and he uttered words of thanks. “i love you, and thank you for being born safely.”
