moonrise/werewolf seth au: thoughts? headcanons, analyses, oc lore, anything?
Oh are we talking about werewolf!Seth? Niceeee
First off, that guy absolutely LOVES getting scratches (both as a werewolf and as a human, but for human!Seth it's head scratches) and belly rubs are his favorite. Like, stop everything and sit exactly where he is so he can get them, no matter what he was doing.
Second, I remember seeing this one werewolf idea that the reason why they are so angry and hungry is because transformations burn a lot of calories. I just imagine Seth and the rest of the werewolves at his shop going to an all you can eat buffet and absolutely killing it (they have to go to a different one every month because if they went to the same one, they'd get kicked out)
A cool idea I had for Sugar is that since werewolves can't really go into town to get something they need, Sugar is asked by the boss to come with the gang during full moons. They just sit by the campfire all night reading a book and making sure everyone is ok, by getting any supplies they forgot, by bandaging someone who got too rough playing with the others, etc.
Speaking of which, when they are at these campouts, Seth is suuuuuper over protective. Will be by your side any time the other werewolves are asking for help and growling if they get too close, It's really funny to you. (Seth apologizes the next day and you laugh and tell him it was cute, he blushes like crazy)
Oh also, Sugarboo makes a GIANT breakfast for everyone the next morning, and it's delicious (ofc)
Ok werewolf Seth rant over! He's just a fluffy lil guy I love him
in my imagination, moonrise au! Sugar is a witch living in secret among people which is part of why they weren’t very fazed by the whole werewolf thing, and it’s also why the boss hired them; he knew they wouldn’t rat the pack out when/if they found out.
And I can’t believe I only just now realized how borderline sitcom-ish that is; a car shop full of werewolves with a receptionist who’s a witch.

imagine one evening, Alphonse is lying next to Boo when they’ve already fallen asleep. He’s also sleepy, but his thoughts are keeping him up.
It surprised him when he found out he was Boo’s first relationship. Out of anyone they had ever met, they chose him. They had waited patiently for all these years to find someone and then they met him and decided he was worth a chance.
Al’s not sure what they saw in him, but if being with him makes them happy, happier than they’ve ever been before, then perhaps it’s worth it.

Sugarboo and Alphonse said farewell to Seth as he rode off on his motorcycle, Betty in hand.
It had been a lot of stress to get the two boys to a point where they didn't want to strangle each other, but to Sugarboo it was worth it.
The two flopped onto Al's couch, happy to be done with that situation when Alphonse spoke up,
"let's just hope that when your ex comes to town, it's not as difficult to deal with" he joked, turning to Sugarboo.
"well that won't be much of a problem," they said quietly, nervous to tell Alphonse, "Because I don't have any exes."
"wait, what?" Alphonse was confused, "what do you mean you don't have any exes?"
"I mean, you're my first ever relationship." Sugarboo hid their face in their hands, "I never really found that... Connection with anyone else."
Alphonse just sat there in shock for a moment. He was Sugarboo's first relationship? He couldn't believe it. All this time, they hadn't been able to find a connection with someone, but they had found one in him?
Sugarboo yawned then and changed the conversation. "As much as I love talking with you Al, I'm really tired"
"oh yeah, me too," Alphonse smiled as he looked down where Sugarboo had laid their head on his shoulder, "wanna cuddle?"
"is that even a question?" Sugarboo giggled as they turned to wrap Alphonse in a big embrace, giggling as he maneuvered the both of them to lay comfortably on the couch together.
"good night boo," Alphonse kissed the top of their head once they were comfortable.
"mmm, g'night Al," Sugarboo was already dozing off, content.
Alphonse just smiled at them as he too tried to go to sleep.
But no matter how hard he tried, his mind kept on wandering to what Sugarboo had said. It was still so astonishing that Alphonse was their first ever relationship. He, out of everyone that Sugarboo had met on their journey of life, was the first person whom they fell for.
He didn't know what it was about him, maybe the charm, maybe the good looks, maybe the attitude. But deep down, he knew. It wasn't because of how he was as a person, no, it was something deeper than that.
Seth had always gone on about magic and fate and Mothman or whatever, and Alphonse always thought it was silly. But now, here he was, with his beloved Boo, and he gets it now.
They were fated to be together, to love each other, to be each other's whole world
And Alphonse wouldn't have it any other way.
tbh the moonrise au kind of reminds me of brother bear in a way, does that make sense??

I’m not sure why, but whatever kind of Jessie and Sugarboo share is very special to me
I think their relationship is a mutual understanding of what has happened to Seth and Alphonse from opposite sides
Jessie is the reason the two got into all of this gang stuff, and she wishes she never knew Derick existed
Sugarboo is helping the boys heal from their past. They are the boy's strength, as well as their weakness (which is used against the boys at the end of ch 3)
They are the ying to the others yang, and understand their role in the boy's lives, both the good and bad
Icarus and hops being silly go go go!!
"squeak!" Icarus heard a sound from his bag, feeling movement against his leg where the leather satchel sat.
"Hops, shh!" Icarus whispered to his moving bag, trying his best to quickly get to their destination.
The pair had landed in another fantasy-type universe, the ones that Icarus hated the most. It was hard enough trying to get through more modern universes with his arm and his eye, but getting through these ones without someone calling him a freak and trying to hurt him was nearly impossible.
"squeak!" The chittering got louder and more insistent as Hops popped her little snout out the side of the bag, sniffing the air.
"Hops, what did I just say?" Icarus scolded the ferret as he tried to hide her from preying eyes. They were so close to the exit of the town they'd stopped by to get some supplies. Just a few more steps and-
"halt!" A strong voice commanded before a body clad in armor stood in front of Icarus, effectively blocking his way.
"and where do you think you're going?" Icarus looked up to see a guard, hand on their belt ready to draw their sword in case they thought Icarus was a threat.
"oh, just heading on out," Icarus tried his best to keep the hood covering his eyes, "just needed some supplies for the journey! Now if you'll excuse me-"
Icarus tried stepping around the guard but they were having none of that. "now you wait right here!" The guard said as they grabbed Icarus' right arm, gasping as they saw what they had grabbed.
Icarus froze as his metal arm glinted in the light, shocking the guard and the nosy townspeople that were watching the encounter. He cursed himself, quickly thinking of a plan to get out.
"you... your arm!" The guard gasped before recoiling, as if the metal had burnt their gloved hand. "I don't know what you are, but you need to be taken to the king immediately!"
Icarus just sighed as his hand reached under his cape for the smaller bag that sat at his other hip.
"well, as much as I bet your king is lovely, I sadly don't have time for that," with a swift motion, Icarus threw the item he had grabbed onto the floor, a large cloud of smoke coming after it hit.
Turning towards the exit, Icarus ran from the yelling of the now blinded guard, swiftly making it through the gate and onto the path outside before quickly bolting towards the overgrown forest that surrounded the kingdom.
Running, ducking, and jumping around the trees, Icarus was able to find a safe place to hunker down.
Catching his breath, Icarus let the hood drop down and off his head, letting him take a big breath of relief. He only got a moment of peace before another loud squeak was heard from his bag.
"alright alright! What is it Hops?" Icarus sighed as he opened the flap of the bag slightly, letting Hops come out onto his lap.
As she did, thought, Icarus noticed she was carrying something in her mouth, the item shining in the light that had found it's way to the bottom of the forest floor.
"Hops, is that..?" Icarus trailed off before a grin took hold of his face, laughing lightly as Hops danced excitedly in his lap. "oh my gosh! Hops! You found it!" Icarus felt his smile widen as Hops placed the necklace in his hand, chirping proudly.
"I thought I lost it. To think, I just dropped it in my bag!" Icarus giggled in relief, unclasping the necklace before clasping it once more around his neck, grabbing the ring that sat on the chain to inspect it.
Hops leaned back on her hind legs to sniff at the ring, chirping at Icarus again.
"thanks for finding it girl," Icarus let the ring fall back into place as he pet the ferret, who squeaked happily at the affection. "I don't know what I would have done if I'd actually lost this."

We do!! Though, we call it our sensory box. It's got a large mix of things we've collected over the years (and I do mean years.. we've got a baby rattle in here from childhood, lol)
essential oils and candles for scent based grounding
fidget toys: chewy things, pointy things, fidget spinners, fidget cubes, head scratcher, pop-it, putty
a kaleidoscope
stuffies: including three peas in a pod that we can throw at stuff without doing damage if someone's angry
puzzles: Rubik's Cube, one of those ball pushy things, and a couple metal puzzles
self harm alternatives: acupressure bracelets and rings, silicone slap bands, and some random keys haha
and a letter from my mum about how much she loves us (as a system)
and the box is decorated with things that make us happy!!
