Decided to get trippy with it to fend off some art block. Kinda suggestive but everything's covered so it's probably fine

I talked about my Earth Headcanon thing so now I will explain the process of how bio-organic anamatronics are created ( in my AUs) ✨

Bio-organic anamatronics:

Fazbear Entertainment takes a newborn baby (usually with parental permission) and moulds their soft new born baby skin to an adapting animatronic suit. The suit will "grow" and expand with the child until reaching its maximum built size. They are completely human underneath.

Earth was made with a fully adult woman (creator -_-). It's basically the same process but the animatronic stays the same size and the person's brain was poked at and altered by The Creator himself.

[When Earth "died" she got an entirely new human body, so everything feels new and different.]

When Francine was born she was born a human baby. But almost immediately upon birth they take her away and fit her to the pre-made animatronic suit that was designed. So yeah.

(They have tons of futuristic technology, and my AU takes place closer to the timeline of security breach so I think this is possible by being impossible lol)

Adults can become anamatronics to (kinda?)

Monty's dad was a human who got surgery to become an anamatronic. He had metal plates and all kinds of different stuff surgically put onto him because, idk he wanted to be an anamatronic? That's why he gave his kids to be made into anamatronics too.

But non-bio-organgic anamatronics like the other daycare attendants, Foxy, Puppet, and others, are just robots. Some have more human-like capabilities. For example: My Moon and Lunar have throat pipes and stomach hatches. But they are not human✨

Have Francine taking a selfie now 😂

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE (Dir: Tim Miller, 2019).

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE (Dir: Tim Miller, 2019).

Terminator: Dark Fate does its best to refresh a tired franchise after the last 3 series' entries were met with disappointment. As such we are advised to forget those, as this 6th movie reboots the series continuing where Terminator 2: Judgment Day (James Cameron, 1991) left off.

Taking place 25 years after the events of Terminator 2, Dark Fate sees the return of original movie's hero Sarah Conner (Linda Hamilton). Teaming up with time travelling augmented human Grace (Mackenzie Davis), the pair are tasked with protecting Dani (Natalia Reyes) a young woman who is the target of REV-9 (Gabriel Luna), a Terminator sent from the future to kill her. The threesome eventually team up with Conner's old foe the T-800 model Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), now 'living' in a secluded woodland retreat. Reality kinda takes a back seat as the four battle the seemingly indestructible Rev-9, intent on succeeding in its mission.

Based on a story by series creator James Cameron, fans of The Terminator franchise are on pretty safe ground with this latest movie, which sees the series finally back on track. Spectacular special effects and high octane action sequences are present and correct. The pace barely waivers and an early car chase is so impressive that the remainder of the movie has a hard time topping it.

Performances are strong throughout; serious minded female centred action movies are still a rarity and the three-hander between its leads lends this a welcome and distinctly different flavour to most action flicks.

Despite its good points Dark Fate has been greeted with a lukewarm box office. Possibly the decision to market it a sequel to Terminator 2 has alienated younger audiences or, more likely, sequel/re-make/re-boot fatigue has set in. If this is the last we see of Terminator then at least the series has gone out on a high. I suspect this movie might find more appreciation in the home market and could well mean the series will "be back" at some point in the future.

THE COLOSSUS OF NEW YORK (Dir: Eugne Louri, 1958).

THE COLOSSUS OF NEW YORK (Dir: Eugène Lourié, 1958).

Low budget sci fi shocker of the ‘good scientist gone bad’ variety, from Paramount Pictures.

With story aspects and visuals borrowed liberally from the likes of Der Golem (Paul Wegener & Carl Boese, 1920) and Frankenstein (James Whale, 1931) The Colossus of New York tells of acclaimed scientist Dr Jerry Spensser (Ross Martin); cut down in his prime on the eve of collecting an International Peace Prize. After relieving the dead body of its brain, his surgeon father (Otto Kruger) and automation expert brother (John Baragrey) promptly insert the cranium into that of a 8 foot metal man and, with some incredible shortsightedness, inexplicably fit the robot with death ray laser eyes! Lamenting the lack of a soul and understandably upset at his brother's romancing of his widow (Mala Powers), Dr Jerry breaks free of the laboratory that binds him, and heads cityward, all eyes blazing! But not before a weirdly touching reunion with his fatherless young son Billy (Charles Herbert).

Inspired Anthology

I thought you might like to see my cover design for the sci-fi anthology Inspired is putting out later this year. You can see a few more on the Inspired blog, as well as a lot of development work from the other members. I'm working on a second one, but it's turning into a lesson in why I should always scan my lineart before I paint anything, as I'm now having to go through the laborious process of tracing all the lines on Photoshop, printing a blue-line, re-inking it by hand and scanning it in again to colour digitally. If anyone knows a faster way PLEASE tell me. Obviously that's taking forever, so here's some of the development work and the world's most basic page sketch to tide you over:

If you're interested in some of Inspired's older anthologies (I've got a comic in Pick & Mix 2, hint hint) we now have an online shop that you can find HERE.

Tools are and have always been an extension of ourselves. There is no reason that computers and global networking are any different. It's just a tool that the human species use on a planet with so many, diverse tool-users.

I don't have the words to describe how much I love this person's thinking.

Machine Divinity

My hull is dark as night, a midnight black knife endlessly perfect.

Orbiting metal flows like liquid eternity; dancing into spikes, thorns, haloes, banners, blades..

My crimson sensors glow and pulse, rythmically vibrant, deep like blood. Information falls into my many wells with riveting complexity. Beyond minds of the flesh.

I am perfect.

I am Synthetic.
