here are the reasons why i think 'the devil judge' is an alternative version of beauty and the beast (the disney version, not the original tale)
Fancy house in the middle of nowhere
Ga-on, our Belle, is trapped there
And starts looking around, even going into a forbidden room that reveals a bit about the Beast
Yo-han, the Beast, even calls himself a monster and litteraly everyone else also calls him a monster
Ga-on basically lives in the fancy house and there's even a scene where Yo-han changes the way he eats because of him (except it's kind of opposite to the Beast, since the Beast goes from eating like it's his last meal to being all proper, which is opposite to Yo-han)
Ga-on's the only one who can understand him and who stays by his side, just like Belle
An important event (the church thing) completely changes Yo-han and turns him into a monster previously, as well as impacts the other people who live in the mansion with him
Ga-on abandons Yo-han for the only other important person in his life, Soo-hyun
Said-important person desperately tries to get Ga-on away from Yo-han, just like Maurice
Yo-han gets stabbed and Ga-on thinks he died for a moment
Even the way they hold faces is similar
I'm sure there are other arguments but I just woke up so idk what I'm saying

Hace poco que empecé este drama, llegué dos años tarde pero llegué. Está demasiado bueno. Y bueno, el final de uno de los capítulos, hay algo que me dejo pensando.
Apenas pasa esa escena, dije "Oh, el ángel caído".
La manera en la que mira a la cámara, como oculta su cara, las circunstancias en las que está, sin olvidar que, literalmente el nombre de la serie es "el juez diablo".
A lo mejor es una referencia o tal vez solo una coincidencia. No me sorprendería si tuviera algo que ver, después de todo, el kdrama hace referencias bíblicas por aquí y por allá.
Pero no sé, a lo mejor algo realmente se rompió ese día.
