lastĀ songĀ i listenedĀ to :Ā AUDIT by WeevilDoing, it SLAPS and its stuck in my brain. Ruler of my Heart by BL8M and Rubyeye for the show Alien Stage also lives rent free in my brain i'm THIS ( pinches fingers together ) close to adding Ivan to this gd multimuse. I love him so much. ( Luka is also a fave of mine but no one beats Ivan <3 )

favoriteĀ color :Ā big fan of warm colors, neutrals and weird blue-greens <3 ik thats not One specific color but shhh the heart wants what it wants

currentlyĀ watching : uhhh i'm soon to start rewatching black butler & starting dungeon meshi!! i've also been watching a playthrough of laika: aged through blood over the course of a while as well as planning to get around to watching final fantasy 7: advent children after finally finishing crisis core, but i'm not sure what i'd qualify as Currently 'Right This Damn Second' Watching. probably the persona 5 playthrough I've been watching slooowly with friends!

lastĀ movie/tvĀ showĀ i watched :Ā ALIEN STAGE on youtube, i just watched it ( as of feb 26th ) earlier tonight!!! movie wise, I'm not sure, probably across the spiderverse!

spicy/savory/sweet :Ā sweet!!!! love sweet stuff, but also a big fan of spicy and savory :] absolutely HATE savory sweet and spicy sweet though for some reason

relationshipĀ status : single as hell lmao GBRHKGNRBTK i'm open but like. shrugs. it is how it is BHKGTRB

lastĀ thingĀ i googled : if we're talking in general; 'across the spiderverse' cause I couldn't remember if it was into or across the spiderverse when mentioning the above, if we're talking QUESTIONS; 'how to fuse orthus with dodge slash persona 3 portable' because I'm really bad with the fusion requests in portable and then spent way too long and way too much money doing this persona request BGHKRTB

current obsession : PERSONA PERSONA PERSONA PERSONA PERSONA alien stage PERSONA i'm so rabid over persona in general but especially 3 and 5, the former because I've actively been playing through p3 portable, but YEAH i've been gnawing on it relentlessly for Months now, it's probably been like. at least half a year or something. ( alien stage mention bc i rlly like it and it's been encouraging me to get back into watching anime/donghua/hanguk aeni bc GODDD i rlly like the premise, the vibes of the characters and the animation it SLAPS and it'll probably torment me for a little bit now )

"Yes, I followed the instructions exactly. Yes, even that one. What? Well, it did something, but I wouldn't describe the results as 'manifesting positive energy in my life'. Look, I don't know what it manifested, but whatever it is, it's eating my garlic sausage."

In which lactose is my nemesis

I am trying to figure out the best way to make a frozen beverage using only oreos, ice, coffee and soy milk. Also, wanting to make popsicles using red Gatorade because red Gatorade is awful in liquid form but might be better as a solid.

In my hometown in NC, you might be expected to acknowledge almost everyone you meet. Depending on what neighborhood or environment you're in, you might use a nonverbal signal: Nod downward - Fairly impersonal polite gesture. No need to stop walking or speak. Maybe a split second of eye contact. Nod upward - Similar gesture of respect, but might also indicate a question related to context. Sometimes accompanied by emphatic eyebrows. Wave - More direct acknowledgement, usually to a peer you barely know. One may pause and offer eye contact for up to two seconds, may have to include a simple verbal greeting. Verbal greetings: More formal. Required while working at most jobs, and when addressing teachers, bosses or elderly acquaintances. Maintain easy eye contact. Will likely lead to small talk. In the event of small talk, stick to what you feel comfortable talking about and remain sincere. Weather and food are things most people can talk about comfortably. If you are caught only pretending to care, you'll be seen as untrustworthy. It sounds scary, but after getting caught in a 10-minute conversation about nutmeg with a stranger you both might be a little happier.

Natalie Portman being confused by the fact that you have to say ā€œhiā€ to someone before starting a conversation in France got me like ?????

Feed the bereaved. They're not dead yet.

This was not an unspoken rule in my community growing up; it was in fact spoken loudly and frequently.

Any time someone shared the news of a death in the family or even just a hospital visit, "don't forget to eat" would be found in the response.

At funerals, someone in the mourning family would always mention the casseroles, the chicken, the pastries waiting in their fridge. There would often be so much they'd ask funeralgoers to take some home for themselves.

This, of course, does not apply the same when family is far away, or when only one household is grieving. There is no overflowing fridge, no countertop full of grocery bags.

When it's my household in that situation, I make Grief Pasta Salad.

Large stock pot (10Qt or more)

Colander

Medium mixing bowl

Liquid measuring cup that will hold 2 cups

Pasta scoop

Fork

2 pounds rotini

3/4 cup finely diced ham (optional)

5 small tomatoes, diced

1 and a half large cucumbers, diced

1/2 cup olive oil

1/4 cup either red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

2 teaspoons dried red pepper flakes

2 teaspoons dried basil

1 teaspoon dried onion

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons molasses

Pinch of salt

Black pepper to taste

Put the water on for pasta. Start preparing your tomato, cucumber, ham (if desired) and put them all in the mixing bowl. You might be able to get all that done before the water boils.

Cook the rotini to desired tenderness and drain.

If your chopping is done, mix the remaining ingredients together in your liquid measuring cup. You can adjust the seasonings as needed* and whisk them together with the fork if you don't want to have to wash a whisk later.

*Author's note: the paprika is non-negotiable.

Put all your solid ingredients into whichever receptacle has the most room. Most likely your stock pot. Pour your whisked vinaigrette over top and mix it through.

This is enough to feed two people for about a day or two. It tastes fine cold.

Eat. You're not dead yet.

Text in image: A recipe for open-faced sandwich made by Ibrahim bin al-Mahdi:
Remove the top crust and edges of a whole bread. Spread its face with binn al-sakarij, slather it with walnut oil, and put it on a brazier until it is thoroughly heated. Spread yolk of soft-cooked eggs on top of the binn and eat it. You may sprinkle it with pounded cheese, which will make it even more delicious.
Ibrahim bin al-Mahdi has a poem describing this sandwich:
What a delicious sandwich on the brazier I made, slathered with binn and walnut oil.
Fragrant and shining, as if the binn I used with ambergris and musk embalmed.
Of nigella seeds I put what it needed, as for fennel, I did sprinkle some.
Text continues: Olive oil I made sure to add, for it gives a luscious coating and a saffroned glow. (36v) Smeared with egg yolk, with cheese sprinkled, like speckled em- broidered silk. As colorful as striped silk it looks, exuding musk and camphor. The taste, luscious as pure honey, for the best aromatic spices I did use.

from the Kitāb al-į¹¬abÄ«kh (Book of Cookery) written by Ibn Sayyar al-Warraq in the 10th century

Y'know, I'd really appreciate it if restraunts had some menu item called, "the Picky Eater," that's just the plainest meal they have (a plain and dry burger, a hotdog with nothing on it, a taco with only beef). I wouldn't even care about the name; having to explicitly tell the server, "no pickle, no onion, no..." makes me feel selfish and needy. Plus it opens up the possibility of them getting it wrong and now I have to choose between asking for another to meet "my special needs" or just starving. It's small, but this could so easily be avoided; so why isn't it?

a bunch of fruit and vegetables cut into strips (capsicum, cucumber, carrot, tomato, apple) with three satay chicken skewers laid next to them on a blue plate.. there's a small pile of jellybeans too, and a cup of orange juice

hey disabled friends and anyone who struggles with eating :)

when i'm not feeling well and i'm super nauseous, i'll make what we've affectionately coined a 'pick plate' it's just a mix of foods cut small that are easy to pick up..and that smell good.

often it's enough just to trigger my appetite that i can eat (or the smell makes me sick). they're easy enough to do that they can be made sitting in a wheelchair or sitting down :)

i hope this helps someone!

sending love,

lillia

Do you guys like.. Mozzarella sticks cause I love EM so yeah

Do You Guys Like.. Mozzarella Stickscause I Love EM So Yeah

"Well, I've never really been a big dairy guy. I'd never say no to if I got offered 'em tho!" [He responds, turning away from the counter as he glances up in thought. He directs his attention towards >yn< as they continue to speak]

"Well what about shaggy?"

"Dunno. You can find 'em and ask him if ya' want." [He shrugs, gently patting them on the head.] "I gotta get back to work, chuck." [...did he really just call them chuck?? What kind of nickname was that??]

Do You Guys Like.. Mozzarella Stickscause I Love EM So Yeah

[>yn< turns and soon spots Shaggy, rushing out of Boy's n Grills. They pause to look both ways before heading across the street to the bakery. As they open the door, the small bell chimes and Shaggy looks over, a smile on his face.]

Do You Guys Like.. Mozzarella Stickscause I Love EM So Yeah

"Oh, Welcome! Sorry, I don't have anythin' made right now, but you're welcome to hang out!" [He chimes as he walks over to grab a chair, glancing at >yn< as they speak]

Do You Guys Like.. Mozzarella Stickscause I Love EM So Yeah
Do You Guys Like.. Mozzarella Stickscause I Love EM So Yeah

"...Mozzarella sticks?" [Shaggy replies with a slightly confused tone as he hops up onto the chair]

"I mean, I guess they're pretty good! Haven't had em in a few years, though." [He chuckles softly, glancing over at the front window, looking at the restaurant >yn< was just at.]

I know Oda consistently draws post-timeskip Zoro as malnourished and dehydrated to show all those muscles, but I legitimately think soft strongman beefcake is peak Zoro design. You know Mihawk was telling Zoro about macros and micros, proteins, rest days, recovery meals, and through sheer force of will alone forced Zoro to stop substituting alcohol for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.Ā

I will never be convinced post-ts Zoro is anything but this

honestly i think heā€™d look amazing with a body like Sasaki, but conservatively.. he should be a barrel
