I'm reading some books I borrowed from the college library (Bacchus by Andrew Dalby, and Apollo by Fritz Graf) and making notes on them (partly for religious stuff partly for school). When I've finished reading them-
I hear Hermes in the noise of a train when it stops in front of my platform.
I hear Apollo in the loud bass line in a song.
I hear Poseidon in the snorting of horses as they go past a car.
I hear Dionysus in the laughter coming from the bars.
I hear Ares in the noises of pride parades and protests.
I was wondering about this because I dont know where i stand (?) on it so i'd be curious as to what yall do

I felt Apollo's presence so strongly all the way to and at Delphi. We went to his temple and I got some photos. I hope I can go back here again. <3
Sorting a seperate altar for Father Zeus since I got a statue for him - anyone have any ideas what to put on it/where to put it? (Like how altars to Hestia are often near the Hearth etc.etc.)

Father Ares is a kind god to me. He has given me the strength to keep going - no matter how hopeless things seem. I hope he gives me the courage to continue to do what I need to despite the family and society that never cease to push back against my existence and joy.
Hence, he and Father Zeus are the only gods (as of now) I call 'Father' although I am devoted to, worship, and recieve support and blessing from other gods (Apollo, Hermes etc.). Both Father Zeus and Ares' guidance is more similar to the stern yet gentle encouragment from a father-figure, always there to tell me to 'get back up and fight'.
This is a picture I took when I was in a museum in Delphi (I think - it was a while ago and we went to a shit ton of museums in different places). It's Apollo!

I kinda wanna totally revamp my altars but I'm kind of stuck for space - also I might have (not really an altar but a space) for Odysseus. I have monster energy drinks and I know some people do stuff with their empty monsters but I'm not sure what lol

I'm a hellenic polytheist, meaning I worship the greek pantheon (the theoi). I primarily worship Father Zeus, Father Ares, and Hermes. I am devoted to Apollo. I have been a pagan for about 5 years. Yes! I consider Apollo my patron :3
I tend to default to asking him for help or signs etc.
🔥 - Do you have a favorite myth or tale from your pantheon or others?
I'm not sure if it counts but i love the tale of the odyssey!! Its one of my all time favourite myths. I'd probably say I really like the creation of humanity myth aswell - it makes me feel very loved when I read it.
I do have one from another pantheon: I really enjoy that one myth from Norse mythology where Thor and Loki have to get mjolnir back! I like a lot of Norse mythology ! Especially tales with Loki involved :)
💀 - Do you believe in ghosts? If yes, have you ever had an experience with one?
As far as I know I have not had any experiences with ghosts, but it seems perfectly logical to me that they could exist in some form - after all - in my hero worship I will often ask after advice etc. from Odysseus and who else would I be communicating with rather than a ghost or spirit of some kind?
