Just a thought
So I was thinking recently about Snape and why he treated other houses as he treated and how the job of a teacher and spy were affecting eachother, and I came to three conclusions:
1. He was a well known Death Eater in their rangs 2. He was forced into the job of a teacher after the war 3. He was the Head of a SLYTHERIN, the house where children of Death Eaters were putted by the Sorting Hat.
I think that if he show a fondness to the other houses and be giving everyone the same kind of attention he’s position in the Death Eaters inner circle would be questioned. Like imagine this Snape giving and prasing over a muggleborn student during a lesson with a Slytherins. Someone like Draco Malfoy would propably very quickly send a message to their parents about this situation, and it could have very negative consequences when Voldemort would be ressurected. So I think that being a mean teacher would be one of his spy covers. I’m not saying that his mental health and past wouldn’t be playing a part in the way he treated other houses, but like I said earlier his behavior could be also a part of his job as a spy.

I sometimes hate my house
I’m reading a severitus fanfiction where Harry travel back in time when he is 8-9 and I’m in the moment where he is attending Hogwarts with his soulmate Hermione and some girls from ravenclaw are mean to her bc she’s smart so Harry and Severus are coming with help and it’s go like this
“I will see to it that these girls are going to be adequately punished” Severus promised in firm voice ~~Later~~~ At dinner the same day, Dumbledore addressed the students . “Just in case you have wondered why Ravenclaw has lost one thousand house points today, it is because of harassment and name calling from several students towards a Ravenclaw first-year student. All ten students who were involved in this have been questioned and been suspended from Hogwarts for a month. Those above fifth year, who were prefects, have lost their prefect status as well.”

Epic battle
So when I was going to sleep and I had that idea of Battle of Hogwarts. That Snape decide to FUCK U BITCH and turn from Voldy. And when there is few minutes before attack on Hogwarts Snape is running to the Dumbledore and is like “Mate listen we are going to be attacked by Voldy and he’s army” and Dumbledore is like “Let him come to us and let him realize what big mistake that was” And than he annnouced alarm in school and 4-7 years who want to fight can go help and the rest should stay in common rooms or help Pomfrey and in the end He says something like “Students... unleash hell on them” AND THEN is Epic montage of students and professors teaming up agains Death Eaters like for example Nevile and Sprout setting baby mandrakes or Devil Snare on DE and than high-fiving when they get caught in trap, Snape and Mcgoogle are like looking at them and smiling and than saying like they deserve detention don’t you think Minnie? OH absolutly Severus and then they started hexing the shit out of them. And at the end of the battle Harry is like are u scarde now Voldy?

So I just writed first chapter of my first ever fanfic and I would like to hear what are you thinking about this.
So today I had a weird dream where I was in my classroom and Lockhart was talking to me and then he just sit down on my knees and started holding my hand. Idk what I should think about it.
