I Love Books - Tumblr Posts
I don't like using Goodreads because the site layout is very unpleasant to me, so I'll do it here.

I stumbled with this book while scrolling through Pinterest and I decided to read because I needed a book to get me into reading again. It didn't really help me with my reading but I was able to finish it in three days.
The story is about a girl that has a relationship with an older woman and this relationship has a big impact in her life. Like a really HUGE attachment. And I loved it, really.
Everything about the MC screamed "me" and I love when I can see myself in characters. And sometimes I see myself in both characters (there's this parallel about them).
Anyway, I found it very intriguing.
Please if you're seeing this, recommend a book to me, I'm dying to read new books but none intrigues me š„²
reblog for bigger sample size!!
also pjo and warrior cats etc. not included cuz their reading level is higher, im asking ab books u read during elementary n such !!!
I JUST FINISHED READING CARAVAL IT WAS SO GOOD OMG
ps I'm not dead just going through a few life errors right now so as soon as my grades stop dropping ill write more
I admire these people for the passion they give in saying those lines, as much as the script - writers who came up with those lines ;)

So true. Where do people come up with these inspirational and profound quotes?! It's like a revolution! 0-0

Victor Hugo on reading.
Fuck heroes. Give me a morally questionable character that won't change themself for the world, but will change the world for their child/goal
Do authors go to their mothers and say "Mother, mother, I killed these teenagers' favourite character, are you proud of me?'
āThe Great Gatsbyā by F. Scott Fitzgerald [Book Review]
![The Great Gatsby By F. Scott Fitzgerald [Book Review]](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d190739ed03d4ff0c4a1c8001d19adb8/5b117eaa5e5086de-e0/s500x750/b733b5267c1aef9e99e2624110ee9132457dac76.jpg)
Rating: 5/5
Summary:Ā The story is set in 1920ā²s and it is fully narrated in the first person. Nick Carraway moved in to theĀ Long Island in hope of starting a new life. What he didnāt notice was that the mysterious, wealthy and the host of the best parties, Gatsby, is his neighbor. And one day, he received an invitation, (which is very rare as people went there without invitations) to one of Gatsbyās exclusive parties. Little by little, Nick got to know Gatsby more and he was definitely not the kind of person one presumed he was.
My Opinion:Ā This is one of the books I will never forget. Beautifully written, this book has both luxury and romance in its best form. The story is very simple but gripping. I think, everyone should read this book as it is one of the best classics of American literature. It is humorous as much as heartbreaking. The characters are very developed and relatable. I could find similarities of those characters with the people I know. The ending of the book broke my heart, as it will break anyoneās. Still Iāll never stop recommending this book because the heartbreak is worth it.
Favourite Character:Ā Gatsby is definitely my favourite character among all. His determination and hard work is truly inspiring. His loyalty to a friend and the sacrifice he was ready to make for a love made me fall in love with him. He deserved a lot more than this.
Favourite Quotes:Ā āHe smiled understandingly--much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life.ā
āThe Three Musketeersā by Alexandre Dumas [Book Review]

Rating: 5/5
Genre: Adventure/Historical-Fiction
Summary:Ā During the reign of King Louis XIII, an ambitious young man, dāArtagnan, aspiring to be one of the kingās musketeers come to Paris, where he meets the famous three musketeers; Athos, Porthos and Aramis. Along the way, they have to overcome the conspiracy of the Cardinal and his ally.
My Opinion: This classic adventure is very engaging and humorous. I usually donāt get attached with the adventure genre in books. But this one kept me entertained. This book contains such hilarious dialogues that I couldnāt help laughing out loud. The characters make very smart remarks too; which is quite impressive. The characters are varied and likeable. The protagonists as well as the antagonists are very brave in nature. The best part of this novel is a female antagonist. The concept is very unique considering the time period when it was written. At that time women were considered very delicate and soft natured. On the contrary the Lady de Winter in this novel displayed a very heinous character.
Favourite Characters: Aramis was the best musketeer in my opinion. He valued bravery as well as morality. On the other hand, the intelligence he showed at the time when needed was very admirable. I also liked the characterization of the Duke of Buckingham, though it was a minor one. His behaviour is very charming. The love he had for the queen, Anne of Austria, is very fascinating.
Quote:Ā āI do not cling to life sufficiently to fear death.āĀ
