giving twilight characters new heights

am i the only one who hates the fact that alice is four foot eleven? everytime i see canary of the cullens where alice goes by her book height, looking so small next to literally everyone else, i automatically think

a cHiLd????

the heights in the twilight books are so whack: every male is over six foot two (men in the 1600s certainly weren't that tall, in carlisles case); rosalie, bella, and esme are the only ones with actual heights that made sense

so here's the heights im giving them based off how i really see them being:

carlisle: five foot seven or five foot eifhteight (the average height for men in the 1600s was about five foot six, but i can see him being slightly taller for that time being)

esme: five foot five

edward: five foot nine

rosalie: five foot nine, you can literally try to pry it from my fingers, but i refuse to think she's anything but this. she's a top, and every top i know is tall

emmett: six foot or six foot one. he really gives me the tallest vibes, but i can't see him being so aggressively tall. i know someone irl who looks and acts a lot like emmett that's around six foot one, and it just gives me such em vibes. will rub his height in edward and carlisle's faces

alice: i see her as five foot three, just barely smaller than esme and bella. smeyer had so many pedophilic innuendos in twilight, and there's a good chance the height difference may be part of that, since alice is shorter than my twelve year old brother. i don't see her being that painstakingly short, but just slightly smaller than average

jasper: five foot ten. i refuse to believe he's over in the six foot territory, no matter how canon it may be. ge just fives me five foot ten vibes

bella: home girl's five foot four or five foot five

but then i remember how she cunning she is

no hufflepuff would've actually have done what she did with essentially begging manipulating bella with parties and the wedding ngl

she may have been super sweet about and towards bella from the get go, but remember how she basically acted when things revolved around the pack

he literally has no filter sometimes

he literally admitted to wanting to kill bella SEVERAL TIMES

his major side oozes slytherin like THE ENTIRE TRAINING SCENE IN ECLIPSE

rosalie: its just a little baby

nearly made her a gryffindor but then i remember that she basically made a whole southern vampire war because her mate and some members of her coven got killed

she's not that reckless, but i can see her being that way. she took precautions with her newborns, and knowing they'd no longer be as powerful after they passed their first year, she got them killed inconspicuously by jasper

idk she's just a bad bitch who i adore, ignoring how smeyer made her only canonically woc evil

VICTORIA: ravenclaw

something about her screams ravenclaw AND I DONT KNOW WHY

like shes pretty smart with her whole war thing and staying out of alice's view and edward's head...when she'd been given no prior statement of their powers

otherwise she'd be a slytherin

BREE: hufflepuff

homegirl gives me ravenpuff vibes but she's very empathetic towards others and just wants everyone to be happy

doesn't want to fight a war, knowing that participating is a bad idea, so she hides away, despite being stronger than the cullens

and then just straight up trusts that they won't get her killed when carlesme find her

feel like a ravenclaw wouldn't have been as trusting

DIEGO: gryffindor

he's pretty reckless and just wants to fight for what he believes in, even if he doesn't always see the best in people

literally almost got himself "killed" when he and bree thought they'd be allergic to sunlight only to sparkle

FRED: slytherin

It irks me that members of this fandom(Yes, I am talking to you team Jacob/wolfpack) are still yet to understand the narrative or role in which the wolves played in the story of twilight. I can't believe that some people think to this day that the wolves were really presented to be the antagonists of Twilight. They don't even realize the harm that that's actually causing to our own particular ideals when we do that. Erasing the trauma and all the shit they had to go through, as young boys at that(not even to mention my girl leah) at the hands of these sinister creatures. And what's worse is that their actions make sense in narrative as the reaction to the many social and ethical issues occurring in the story. It all makes sense!! Never were the wolves meant or presented to be irrational. When will people realize that the Cullen's word is not law. They are often times racist, genocidal, misogynistic, classist, and many other things. What any of them says or implies in the story may in no way be true but are based upon their own individual prejudices and moral viewpoints. They're not the primary narrator of these books, Bella is. Their thoughts and ideals are not the primary narrative. Their words or their theories are not law or actual truth in canon) A lot of the characters in twilight are hypocrites. But especially the cullens. In no way shape or form should we take the anything the cullens say as the actual narrative. And I'm honestly disappointed that so many do. Especially supposedly sensible people in this fandom. It is honestly in many ways a result of all the paranoid reading many on this site engage in but especially those in the twilight fandom. And coming from a Black Amerindian woman, I find it really interesting that many of the things Twilight, and in the case of Smeyer(yes, her mormomism but thats another contentious thread im coming back to later) are presented as doing are really just a projection of many own implicit racial biases and how themselves see and view BIPOC characters. Hmmm it's really telling...

Am I the only one who thinks Taha Aki’s third wife was his imprint? Because this man supposedly outlived two wives and never went feral when they died. But when the Third Wife sacrificed herself he fully wolfed out and disappeared into the wilderness after laying beside her body for three days.

I’m working on a fanfic for Twilight, specifically the Quileute Tribe, and was wondering how everyone was related. So I looked up the family trees, and there are family trees on Fandom, but it’s of each specific line and doesn’t entirely show how everyone is related. I also found one on Reddit but it’s really blurry, so… I made one myself on Canva! Hope other people who are Twilight fans or just the Quileute Tribe/ Jacob Black fans find this useful.

The reader would always hang out at La Push that's how she met jacob.

He wasn't that into her at first since having feelings for bella.

But after the reader helped jacob fix his car, he was intrigued by her.

"You know how to fix cars?"

" Yeah, my dad owns a auto shop. How did you think your dad got that red pickup truck to work?" She smirked.

After that his feelings for bella evaporated and he started to hang out with the reader more.

Jacob and the reader begin dating almost a year later.

They spent most their time hanging out at La Push and sitting around a bonfire telling stories.

Whenever Jacob sat next to her jn class she would start drawing patterns or little doodles on his wrist to pass the time.

After two months, Jacob finally asked her out and she said yes.

Not too long after, he finally told her about his lineage.

"This gonna sound crazy but...I'm a shape-shifter–or what people call these days...a werewolf." He said nervously looking at her.

"Babe...you okay?"

" I fucking knew it!" He let out a breathe of relief and she kissed his lips.

Sam Uley and Emily Young

Emily and the reader been dating for a couple months, before Sam walked in their life.

Even through the reader lived in La Push, she always find a way for her and Emily to spend time togther.

The reader couldn't help but take her out to the diner in town to get some alone time, without Sam and the others sticking their nose into their business.

"Hey, wolf girl." The reader smirked hearing Emily's nickname for her.

"Hey, gorgeous." Emily blushed before walking up to her giving her a kiss.

After the reader and Sam phase, Sam and the reader imprinted on Emily.

Emily didn't care that Sam was her mate, she stilled was with the reader and that made Sam mad as hell.

After the incident, the reader and sam had a ( physical) fight and she threatened Sam.

"Mate or not, uley if you touch her like that again I will not hesitate rip your throat out with my teeth." She growled before going to see Emily.

Sam apologized to Emily, and after a well Emily forgive him...the reader did too but not as much.

They decided they couldn't live without each other, so they became a trouple.

At first the reader thought it be tough, but cuddling with Emily and Sam was the best.

And surprising Sam was a decent mate, he may look cold hearted on the outside for his psck but with the reader and Emily he was pure gold.

Embry Call

Embry really pretty quiet when his around a group of people.

That's why he liked the reader so much, she didn't like large crowds either.

That's how they actually met. Embry was sitting alone outside, well a party was going on inside and the reader walked out trying to get away from the loud music and drunk teenagers.

"Oh, sorry I didn't think anyone was out here."

"It's okay."

They stayed quiet for a well, before embry offered a seat next to him. Which the reader gladly took.

They made small talk here and there causing them to laugh sensing they both wasn't big of talking.

When the party ended embry traded numbers with the reader to stay in touch.

After that night, they texted each other nonstop and every night after that.

He finally asked her out after year and a half of hanging out.

Embry and the reader spent most of their days in their house with each other.

Either watching TV or making out on her couch.

Whenever they were feeling social, they go out with Jacob and his girlfriend to La Push and swim.

Quil Ateara V

Quil first meet the reader at Jacob's house while she was grabbing some stuff for her mom.

"Sup." He nodded towards her leaning against a wall gaving her a goofy smile.

She looked over him before rolling her eyes and grabbing the boxes Mr. Black gave her and leaving.

The next time quil meets her she is waiting in lane with Jacob at the movies.

"We meet again."

She groan recognizing the voice behind her, she watch as Jacob and Quil trade greeting before asking what movie they watching.

"Oh, God I heard that movie suck ass." Jacob laughing agreeing and ask if he wanted to join making her slap him in the chest.

"I would love to..." he said before turning smiling at the reader.

"Great." She said monotone before paying for the tickets.

Quil didn't last half the movie before running out of his seat and out the doors, making them follow after him.

The reader rubbed his back as he vomited into the trash can.

"Plesse, tell me. She stayed in the theater." He asked Jacob.

"Nope." The reader said next to him making him as he rubbed his back.

Jacob left living Quil and the reader to hang out, after a well of talking she decided to give him a chance.

She was glad she did, Quil made her laugh with his childish jokes and his silliness everytime his around her.

Whenever the reader didn't want to be alone she go over Quil'a house, and they play video games on his Playstation.

If they got tired of playing they cuddle on his bed and watch whatever was on his TV.

Paul Lahote

• The reader and Paul were in an on and off again relationship.

• She just like Paul phase, and ever since then he been acting like asshole. Which doesn't sit right with the reader's attitude.

• He cheated on her with Jacob's sister couple causing her to phase out and attacked him.

• But it always ends the same with Paul afucking the reader in the woods.

• " I hate you." She breathed out as they lay togther on the dirt floor.

• "No, you don't." He smiled before getting on of her again for fourth round.

Jared Cameron

• Jared and the reader were friends for a long time, before actually dating.

• He would help the reader with her hair whenever he came over to spend time with her.

• "How much you wanna bet I can do this plait in one go?" He smiled down at you as you plait other side of your head.

• "20 bucks." He snort before plaiting...well trying to plait her head.

• He didn't make it half way until he had to undo it and start over, she had to smack his hand away to show him how to do it.

• Jared got better at it, after a well making the reader reward him with much needed kisses.

Seth Clearwater

• When Seth and the reader started dating it was looked down upon by both their families and pack.

• The reader didn't give a damn what they said about them just as long they were happy.

• "Screw them. If Edward can knock up a human you can mess around with a vampire." She smirked planting a kiss to his lips making him smile.

• Seth would help the reader hunt for food giving them a chance to see who really were faster. ( it was him but she wasn't going to admit that.)

• Sometimes when they train together the reader would use her power to throw Seth off which gives her time to make her real attack.

• Which is giving Seth belly rubs well his phasing.

• "Whose a good boy?" She grins snatching under his chin and stomach.

Leah Clearwater

• Leah didn't mean to imprint on the reader, but it just happened causing a shift between the pack.

• Not because the reader was the half sister of Sam and mate to his ex, it because Leah and the reader were actually into each other.

• Sam didn't like how Leah was over him and how everytime the reader whispered in Leah's ear she giggled.

• Giggled!...thats how happy the reader made Leah, the reader even helped Leah with her temper.

• the reader and Leah would spent time in the woods as Leah took out her anger on the trees and go hunting, the reader would be on the log watching and be ready to hold her when she's finish.

• "Why are so good to me." Leah sighs twirling one of the reader's dreads in her finger as she looked up at her.

• "Becasue my dear mate, you deserve every drop of it." The reader straddle her girlfriend before peckering her face until she finally kisses her lips.

The Right Track (Sequel Of Love Hate F****** Heartbreak)

Fandom: Twilight

Pairing: Paul x reader

Summary: After the night of which you and Paul’s arguements reached a new low, you deal with the aftermath in your own way. What will happen when your imprint appears and you must now face the anguish the both of you have suffered from a 'needed’ time apart.

PART ONE

     When you fell into restless sleep as you finally got home that fateful night, you promised yourself that you would not give in to the call of your imprint. He needs to learn his lesson, and you've been doing well for nearly a week now. You've been avoiding Emily's and Kim's and even the beach. You felt bad at first for seemingly ignoring your friends, but you knew that they understood your stand of silence and they were all proud of you for finally sticking up for yourself. Every night, Emily would call to check up on you and your heart would clench when you could hear his begging in the background.     

     "Is that (Y/N)? Let me talk to her! Please, baby please talk to me!"

     Tears would stream down your face and you would hang up automatically. Then about 5 days in, the pain of the distance from your wolf sets in at full force. You whimper and toss and turn at night, and past your cries you could hear a wolf howl in pain as well. It's killing you to be away from him, but you couldn't bare to go back to how things were. No fucking way. Day 7 is when it seems he's had enough of you distancing yourself.  You're in the shower, numbly going through the motions of your personal hygiene when your curtain is ripped back and you shriek.

      Your jaw falls open at how wrecked your boyfriend looks right now. His eyes are red and bloodshot with heavy bugs under his eyes. His normal copper skin a now sickly shade of grey, and he hasn't shaved. You shudder when you look into his eyes, you've never seen Paul look so feral. You stay silent, not knowing how to handle the situation at the moment. He hands you your towel before stepping away so you could get out. The tension is suffocating, and you find yourself trembling as you brush past him into your bedroom.

      He stands in the doorway, brooding. You don't pay him any mind as you dig through drawers to find a new set of clothes, suddenly feeling vulnerable while only being clad in a towel. His gaze nearly scorches you and he finally sighs before plopping down on the edge of your bed.

    "Just tell me what I can do to make this better."

     You don't answer for a moment, collecting your thoughts.

     "Listen Paul I-. I just need time."

      You hear the bed creek and suddenly two tanned arms wrap around your waist. You  flinch and hurry to put some distance between you and the temperamental wolf of yours. You don't need to look at Paul to know the very hurt expression that most certainly covers his face as of now.

     "And space."

      You turn to walk back into the bathroom, yearning for privacy to dress when his hoarse voice shatters the tense silence.

     "No."

      You stop and turn to look at him, a little pissed and a lot confused. Paul takes merely two steps into your personal space, chest to- well your chest only reaches his upper torso. His eyes are only burning black, his whole body tensed. You ache to reach out and gently smooth the creases from his face, but your pride and wounded-self holds you back.

     "What the hell do you mean no?"

       "I mean," he grabs you around your waist to pull you into his embrace to bury his face into your hair, "No."

      And then he crashes his lips into yours for a bruising kiss. You struggle in his hold, trying not to succumb to the siren call of the annoying ass imprint bond. Paul breaks the kiss, but only holds you tighter so you cannot get away from him. It takes you a moment to register the shaking and the deep breaths. You only struggle harder and finally he relents, you taking an immediate step back.

     "I swear to fucking god, Paul, if you shift in my- oh my god are you crying?"

      Paul just stares back at you with tears running down his face before he collapses to the ground in  gut-wrenching sobs. You open and close your mouth a few times before moving closer your despairing soulmate, and he immediately grabs your hips and buries his face into your stomach.

     "Please, please, don't push me away anymore. I'll do anything baby, I really will. Just not that. Please don't make me be alone, I can't even breath without you. It hurts so bad," his tearful mumbles and little hiccups break your resistance and you find yourself stroking through his hair while gently soothing him.

     "Shh, shh. You're not alone Paul, you still have the pack," he lifts his face from your now tear-sodden towel and the look of utter hopelessness steals both your words and your breath away.

     "It's not the same. Please (Y/N), you can't say you haven't felt it too. I just miss you so bad. I miss you sleeping next to me, and the way you smile and laugh at my dumb jokes. Please, I promise I'll be good."

      Damn, imprint.

     "Alright, Paul, I won't push you away anymore," He jumps up to pull you into his arms but you hold up a hand to signal that you weren't through talking yet. Paul's tongue darts out to wet his bottom lip, nervously, and you have to look away to clear your train of thought.

     "We are going to set a few boundaries though." Paul nods enthusiastically and pulls you to sit next to him on the bed.

      "Number one, no more alcohol. You have no filter sober, so lets not test your motormouth anymore. Number two, no more degrading comments or orders. Last time I checked, I am not your bitch, so don't treat me like one. I'm not fetching you beers or being your punching bag for when you can't handle shit. Number three," You nervously glance up at his sincere eyes for this next one, "no sex. For a while." You can see his reaction, his form turning rigid. This one would definitely be a challenge, but hey it wasn't just going to be hard for him. Since Paul is no good at expressing his feelings, he often uses sex to communicate his inner emotions. So with no sex, he's taken out of his comfort zones and forced to man up and talk shit out.

     "I'm not just saying that to be a jerk, Paul. Believe me, it's hard for me as well. But even though my body physically reacts to you and the bond, I'm just not ready mentally to be intimate with you yet. You really hurt me, and distancing myself from the throes of passion is the only chance at salvaging this relationship." You finally look at him, gauging his reaction to whether or not to move any fragile items from his arms' reach. He stays tense for a moment, eyes burning a hole into your worn down rug but finally he turns to you with a guarded expression.

      "Alright. But with one condition," you raise your eye-brow and straighten your posture.

       "I get to sleep in your bed with you at night. Don't even look at me like that, I damn well know that you haven't slept well in days and neither have I. So before both of us lose our minds,  just concede to that at least." 

     You can't help the tick of your jaw as you catch the slight order, but you know he's right and his cocky ass already knows it too.

      "Glad to see the confident side of you again love," you roll your eyes, " _fine,_but no funny business Lahote. I mean it."

      Before he could say anything else, you pull your clothes to your chest and walk into your bathroom. Paul shakes his head with a chuckle and a small smile, hopeful that he and you were on the right track again.

     "Wouldn't dream of it baby!" He calls as he finally relaxes into your blankets, the smell of you instantly chasing away the dark loneliness that he's been plagued with ever since the night he fucked up.   I kinda changed it up a little bit, I didn’t make the reader younger as I always age the pack up a bit in my writing and I just wanted to keep it general.

I thought that Sam phases when he was a junior in high school and in New Moon he and Leah are ~20. Since Edward was a senior (assuming he started as a freshman) that would have been 4 years prior to New Moon when Sam phased. Everyone else was too young (Seth at 14 in New Moon was too young) as the others are 16?

I assume the Emily things happened at least a year prior since the scars were completely healed and it was a face wound.

Hello. In New Moon LEAH with whom is on the phone? I ask this because I think I have made confusion with the time spent in the saga. I always thought that Sam's first transformation was due to the Cullens and not to the James group. If so, a few months have passed and not a few years as I have always believed. In this case LEAH had to be on the phone with Sam (some sites allude to this)

I’m not entirely sure on the timeline here, either. I had originally thought this was maybe the time where Sam was missing and she was on the phone trying to figure out what was going on, but that doesn’t work with other things we know. Emily’s accident almost certainly had already happened, too, since the implication was that they took her to Sue rather than the hospital because a vampire worked there, but at this point in New Moon the Cullens were gone so that wouldn’t have been an issue. The thing that makes the most sense with the timeline is that this was the time period where she was starting to go through the pre-werewolf symptoms herself with mood swings and all that and was on the phone with someone to get the latest info on what was going on with Sam and Emily? Since Harry is still alive she hasn’t phased yet, but it’s January and she phases in March it’s getting close. Of course, it’s entirely possible (and, let’s face it, perhaps even likely) that SM didn’t really think too much about the timeline here and she did intend this phone call to have been Leah talking with Sam, or looking for Sam, or checking up on Emily after hearing about her accident and only later in the Guide did she get down to the specific timing of things and those options no longer fit.

Living outside of town on the property left behind by the former mistress of the wood, the reader takes up shop in a lovely, modern chic home designed by a local architect who would be the very first to invite her to dinner after a tour of the property…

During the course of her first year, she would ease her way into the lives of the local townsfolk. Selling herbal remedies for joint pain, charms for young girls in love, candles to ward off vile spirits. Quickly earning herself a reputation as a sort of miracle worker. And of course, she would see to the needs of the local Wolf Pack, as well as the coven of Vampires who called themselves the Cullens if only to keep the peace between them as her predecessor had before her arrival…

And who would come to her for help when her world turned upside down? Why a young girl with no frame of reference for actual boundaries. Breaking into her home only to tell her all about the vampire breaking into her own to watch her sleep…you know, because that isn’t a very obvious red flag…

There in, taking pity on the naive girl, the reader resolves to take her under her wing. Giving her a part time job as well as her protection from outside entities by not only allowing her to help out with her practice, but also teaching her a thing or two about practical uses for everyday spells…

Naturally however, the girl wouldn’t keep her distance from her sparkly stalker and chaos would ensue from wars with nomadic wanderers, to Newborn Vampires and eventually even the greatest thorn in the reader’s side, the Volturi…

Oh, yeah! And a few years into her stay? The very moment things begin to calm down after said naive girl gets turned following the birth of a blood-hungry baby with the worst name ever…?

This guy ^^^ would decide to imprint on her the day he comes back from college…

Anyone else read something like this?

I read this neat one shot were Nessie is older and Jake is like her older brother, and she's dating one of the young wolves (I don't remember who). All while Jake is like hurt my little sister and I'll murder you. And he's in a healthy relationship with Leah after she worked out all her emotional trama smeyer put her through so they have like this really nice strong bond and talk about their feelings, and it's just sweet and how I wish Breaking Dawn would have ended because flipping heck is Jacob imprinting and basically dating Nessie in Alice's vision gross on every level.

Leah Clearwater is a chaotic bisexual who has top energy. No I don't take criticism.
