He loves hugging you because he really likes the feeling of you in your arms, and especially your head resting on his chest
In fact, if you don't hug him in the morning in front of school, at lunch when you two meet to eat together and after his training (you often have to take him away from the gym) to go home together, he'll complain about not having received the right amount of affection from you (Iwa will hit him at least ten times due to that)
Sometimes he teases you a lot little because he enjoys seeing your pouty face: "(Y/N)-chan, do you mind if I rest my arm here? It's so tired from training." "Tooru, get your gross, sweaty arm off my head!" "But it's the perfect armrest!" "..." "Awwww, (Y/N)-chan, are you pouting? How cute!"
Despite that, although he never misses an opportunity to make you angry about your height, he still does everything he can to make you feel appreciated: he knows when to stop with the teasing and when to compliment you, even for the most seemingly banal things
Furthermore, if a fan mentions something involving your height negatively, he won't hesitate to confront her

His teasing (because, come on, we know he certainly does them) are... particular: seriously, sometimes he can be a huge pain, but he's always able to bring a smile to your face ("Here it's." If you start playing with his hands, he'll be wide-eyed, wanting to scream about how adorable you're; nevertheless he won't do so, thinking your or his neighbors won't appreciate it
In addition, his heart will be going crazy in his chest: you've no right to be so pretty, he'll think; he'll pout when you let go of his hands
If you wear his jersey during his games, no ball will go past his blocks; after the match, which will have ended with Nekoma's victory, though, he'll become a little arrogant: "Oh? What are you wearing, chibi?"

You two make a so cute couple!
You've something like fifty centimeters of difference, but he doesn't care it anyway: he's very direct, and he always lets you know you look super cute for him
Anyhow, since he's so direct and frank, he's sometimes a little insensitive without meaning to, and he may say things to you that can offend you; when that happens, after realizing you're hurt, he begs you to forgive him, even if you two are in public, and he continues until you say you forgive him ("(Y/N)-chaaaaaaaan, forgive me, pleaseeeeee!" "Lev, get up, everyone is watching us!" "Forgive meeeeeeeee!" "Okay, okay, I forgive you, just get up..." "Yay! Let's go to the bar!")
When you two hold your hands, he's the one comparing them: he intertwines them with his and plays with your fingers; "Your hands are so tiny compared to mine" is one of his most common phrases
Your way of hugging is very cute: when you two are standing, you're hugging him from behind literally like a koala, and it's funny because you're so tiny against him; when you two are sitting, instead, you really look like a child compared to him, since you're like a ball on his lap

He's absolutely not making fun of you, not even as a joke: since he was insulted by other children as a child, he doesn't want you to feel as bad as he felt
If someone makes fun of you, he'll protect you: "So you think you can make fun of my darling like that?" "N-no... I was just saying she's shorter than most people here in Shiratorizawa... T-that's all." "Yes, and I think you-" "Satori." "Yes, beauty?" "No." "..." "Satori." "Yes..."
His typical nicknames for you have to do with beauty ("beauty", "beautiful", "my pretty one", "my pretty girl", "cutie"...); the reason is because he thinks you're really too beautiful: he loves your height, and he thinks you're perfect for him
Speaking of affection, he doesn't mind if he has to bend down to kiss you, but for a long time he proposed you stand on a stool to kiss, and the crazy thing is he even bought it for you!
Besides, I think he's both a small and big spoon: indeed, sometimes he just wants to be held by you (when it happens, it's very funny to see your position due to your height), other times he wants to wrap his arms around you

You two met when you showed up at Shiratorizawa's gym as a manager; when he saw you, he started blushing madly, because all he could think about was how adorable you were ("I-I'm G-G-Go... MY NAME IS GOSHIKI TSUTOMU, NICE TO MEET YOU!")
He's so protective of you! He knows very well how adorable you're and how you can appear naive due to your height: in fact, does someone insult you for your height? He'll come to your rescue by listing all the reasons why you're lovely. Is anyone hitting on you? He'll stand in front of you, scaring, or rather trying to scare, them
The best way to cheer him on during his games is to wear his team jersey: the boost of self-esteem he'll receive thanks to your action will be enormous!
In fact, he loves, loves seeing you wear his clothes: they fit huge on you and make you really cute; he would really like to show the whole world how beautiful you look when you've on them
Moreover, if you hug him from behind, he dies of embarrassment because he feels your face against his lower back and your little arms wrapped around him

He also loves to tease you in a playful way: his favorite actions are not bending over when you want to kiss him (so you've either to jump or to "climb" on him), messing up your hair and calling you "shorty"
When you get pouty due to his teasing, he can't help but smile and coo at you because he thinks you're very adorable (his mind only thinks this: awwww, (Y/N) is pouting, she's so, so, so, so, so, so lovely!); if he made you very angry, he would stop immediately and give you an awkward kiss on your cheek (that's his way of apologizing)
If someone makes his same teasing about you, though, he'll make everyone apologize: do you know how he scolded the girls who disturbed his first serve during the match against Karasuno? Here, he'll treat them like that
He loves bragging about you two to his brother (he often gets slapped or objects thrown at his head because of it): "Samu, look how cute my little girl is!" "Don't flaunt my photos around, Tsumu!" "Get out of my way, Atsumu!"
He likes a lot giving you kisses on the forehead, even if he has to bend down quite a bit to do so

Okay imagine this. YakuLev headcanon where Yaku twists his ankle, and Lev carries him bridal style in a panic and rushes through the door to the infirmary, completely forgetting about yaku’s head. Yaku collides with the door frame and gets knocked out, so Lev goes back to the gym screaming “I KILLED HIM, HELP ME!" Taketora yells at him "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO OUR MOTHER, YOU MOTHERFUCKER”
Yaku's favorite food is stir-fried vegetables, that's so cute.
Imagine Lev when he knew it, he gave to Yaku at lunch time all his stir-fried vegetables in his bento. Damn and just stare at him like :
“Eat eat.”

I just love how Furudate wrote the story so well to make it this far, Haikyuu is amazing and the complexity of the story is incredible, the character development and the journey of the characters. I'm tearing up again...
HAIKYUU 402: LAST CHAPTER SPOILER WARNING!!!
The final chapter of Haikyuu which is the most magnificent sports anime I've ever read.
Before you scroll down I'M BEGGING YOU TO PLEASE READ THE CHAPTER 402 FIRST. This is going to be super lengthy post hehe.
This is a spoiler zone, you have been warned.
I'm not gonna lie while reading this chapter I WAS CRYING THE ENTIRE TIME.
There are so many significant moments during this chapter (I honestly feel like this summary isn't going to cover everything.)
This moment during the beginning of chapter 402 when Ushijima and Tendo, I truly believe Tendo is Ushijima's first actual friend. It was shown after Karasuno VS Shiratorizawa match (Season 3) but their friendship solidifies even more during Chapter 395 timeskip when Tendo called Ushijima after the World's Match (when Team Japan lost & Ushijima faced criticism) he's the strong pillar that grounds Ushijima.
Tendo truly deserves this moment, he & Ushijima not just considering each other as 'teammates' or 'comrades' but best friends.
Everyone is hyping up on Hinata & Kageyama or Iwaizumi & Oikawa's friendship BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT USHIJIMA'S AND TENDO'S FRIENDSHIP?
YES. WE ARE GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT. LOOK AT THEM. so beautiful. *sobs*
Everyone is talking about how glorious Lev & Alisa looks modelling together and their billboard in the streets of Shibuya but can we pause for 5 seconds to stare at the Yaku Morisuke?
LET US FREAKOUT LOOK AT YAKU WEARING THIS GORGEOUS SUIT?

I also love the fact Yaku and Lev still communicate with each other, Lev even called Yaku asking him if he has seen the billboard in Shibuya. How precious ❤ also Yaku part of the Russian VLeague team??? HOLY SHIT.
Also, I love that almost everyone in team Karasuno are gathering in Tanaka's house while watching the Olympic game together. Their solid friendship just have my heart and soul.
This moment is where all AsaNoya stans are SCREAMING TO OBLIVION. Asahi and Nishinoya TRAVELLING AROUND THE WORLD TOGETHER. Like HOLY SHIT GOOD LORD IMAGINE ALL OF THE FANFICS WE WILL GET TO READ. (Ao3 writers I'm looking at you guys)
This panel just took my breath away, I started tearing up when I was reading this. It's a full circle of Oikawa's journey - he is now against the people he wanted to defeat during this youth (Kageyama and Ushijima). He is even standing on the other side of the court against his best friend Iwaizumi.
I want to make a comparison between Ushijima & Kageyama and Iwaizumi during this panel.
Ushijima & Kageyama as Oikawa's rivals. During middle school he felt like he couldn't stand a chance against a genius setter who is 2 years his junior, in his middle school until high school him & team keeps on losing against Ushijima (who is also considered as a genius and a stroke of luck because of his left handed spikes.) Oikawa desires to DEFEAT them. This strong sense of competitiveness have matured & the adrenaline of finally become better than them WITHOUT NEEDING TO BE A GENUIS but because of SHEER HARD WORK and TENACITY.
What makes them vastly different from Iwaizumi?
It is clearly shown that it was Iwaizumi who said to Oikawa "I will defeat you on the day we fight." Not Oikawa saying that he wants to defeat Iwaizumi - instead he said "I'll be waiting for it." Oikawa does NOT have the same intense desire of needing to defeat Iwaizumi (compared to Ushijima & Kageyama) instead he said it with nostalgia. Despite Iwaizumi no longer playing volleyball professionally he is still associated with volleyball as Team Japan's athlete trainer.
It's also important to mention that Iwaizumi is Oikawa's foundation of friendship and support, Iwaizumi keeps Oikawa grounded- they have seen each other's struggles and success. THAT SHIT JUST GOT ME AND MY FEELS.
ALSO LOOK AT IWAIZUMI'S HUGE ASS PROUD GRIN, OUT OF ALL SMILES IN THIS WORLD IWAIZUMI HAJIME'S SMILE IS MY FAVORITE. (Clearly I'm an Iwaizumi simp)

OIKAWA TOORU OFFICIALLY PART OF THE ARGENTINIAN NATIONAL TEAM.
HOLY FUCK SOMEONE HOLD MY HAND BECAUSE I'M SMILING AND CRYING AT THE SAME TIME. THERE IS NO IN BETWEEN OF MY EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER IN THIS MOMENT.
I just want to say this...
OIKAWA TOORU IS THE REAL UNDERDOG OF HAIKYUU.
Imagine he has NO National experience (unlike Hinata who actually got to go to Nationals & made a name for himself.) Oikawa got the skills, the strategy, the tactics, dedication, and intense competitiveness but HE NEVER GOT THE CHANCE (he even went as far as pushing himself to be better in volleyball resulting to injuring his knee. THAT IS SOME INTENSE DEDICATION.) During his middle school and high school volleyball matches or to be able to participate in Nationals or even in Japan All Youth Team's & Trainings NOT ONCE HE IS GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY (and honestly that shit sucks because you know that your actually good at something but no one bats an eyelash towards your direction? It must have hit on Oikawa's pride.)
OIKAWA IS THE REAL UNDERDOG. He does not lack height (compared to Hinata) but he lacks the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and he lacks the chance of be in center stage when he was in Japan.
But now in Argentina he becomes the REAL KING OF THE COURT. Now, he FINALLY is at center stage dazzling brighter than anyone, he is the most talked about volleyball player - he used to be a nobody in Japan but now he is someone that everyone knows and acknowledges.
Hands down the BEST character development.
Now I NEED Haikyuu chapter centered on Oikawa's struggles and experiences in Argentina - alone in a foreign country to chase his dreams that shit is amazing and inspiring.
This panel made me stop breathing for a while. LOOK AT MAGNIFICENT AND GLORIOUS THEY ARE.
JAPAN'S NATIONAL TEAM.
I HAVE NO WORDS. EVERYONE LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL AND POWERFUL AND LOOK AT THAT TINY IWA IN THE CENTER.
My skin has cleared. My sadness now gone. My lifespan increased by 10 years. Someone please put this panel on my forehead, thank you very much.
There are so many important portions in the following scenes in this panel but I choose this one because it reminded me of Hinata & Kageyama's dynamics since Season 1.
Hinata always calling for a toss to Kageyama (remember Season 1: Dateko VS Karasuno match, or during Season 2 Training camp Hinata always calls for a toss and Kageyama always delivers.)
The greatest weapon is their powerful bond and synchronization, their freak duo toss that shifts the momentum of the game.
Kageyama and Hinata: the greatest rival, the greatest opponent, the greatest ally, and now the greatest weapon FINALLY used on center stage.
For me this moment really put Haikyuu into it's full circle, it really put it into completion, and it truly made it perfect ending.

Hinata Shoyou used to be the boy riding his bicycle looking at Karasuno's number 10 Little Giant - now Hinata Shoyou isn't just known as 'Little Giant' but Ninja Shoyou proudly wearing this Number 10 Jersey PART OF JAPAN'S NATIONAL TEAM.
He is now someone ALL children aspires to be, someone that they want to become in the future - someone that inspires them to play volleyball and keep on breaking the tall wall looming over them.
I FULL BLOWN SOBBED DURING THIS MOMENT. The impact, the power, the intensity of volleyball into their lives.
These two moments really struck a chord, Haikyuu isn't just about Hinata and his teammates. It is about no matter how little or big your journey is it will always leave the GREATEST impact into someone's life.
This wraps up the 8 truly amazing years of Haikyuu.

I've been reading Haikyuu for 3 years already, when I first watched a Haikyuu with no expectations and no idea what is volleyball but now I am fully immersed in the Haikyuu fandom. Who would have thought I'll be obsessed with this anime? I've watched and read so many manga & animes but it is Haikyuu that really struck me the most.
This ending is BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS - it really blew me off the roof and I have a mixture of both sadness and joy. I'm sad that Haikyuu is ending but I'm also happy that all of the characters I grew to love have forged their own paths and grew not just as volleyball players but as characters that we can connect and relate on.
I would like to quote my favorite line in Haikyuu:
"For today you happen to be the defeated. But what will you become tomorrow?"

Does anyone else feel being "stalked" in a way by fanart of a ship you like? Like, for the past couple months, lev/yaku fanart is all over my Pinterest and although I'm not complaining (I do like to see haikyuu stuff popping up despite the time passed since I last saw/read), it more consistent that asanoya (main otp) 😂
Maybe they trying to tell me not just be a casual enjoyer and go big with them.
