I feel like the weird magic has all gone missing from tumblr and if anywhere is the place for weird magic, it's... well. Tumblr.
So I'm sharing my weird magic thing and I hope others will do the same, on this post or on their own.
I almost exclusively do "negative" magic. I undo, I reverse, I banish, I drive away, and yes, I jinx and hex and will almost certainly one day perform at least one curse.
All my life, since before magic and before I knew how any of this worked properly (I had some ideas, but how and when I got them is a story for another time), I have had the worst luck. If it rained, it didn't just pour, it flooded with impunity and massive destructive force. Anything I wanted, I didn't get. Anything I asked for, I didn't receive. Anything I loved? Ripped from me, sooner or later. There is no exception to this. I was like a karmic sinkhole where everyone else's bad shit went to spare them from their consequences. When I tried witchcraft, I found it frustrating. My spells always failed. My Intuition was good, but I often second guessed it and was wrong— but if I trusted it, I was also wrong. I couldn't win.
Then I did a banishing.
This.... is also a story for another time. But I will say that unlike every other spell I tried, it worked. It worked phenomenally. For me, it was an unprecedented result. And then I started doing more. I banished my negative thoughts instead of drawing in good ones, and it worked. I stirred my tea counterclockwise, the traditional "undoing" direction and also my natural stirring tendency, and thought of my tiredness and grumpiness and pain; my days got better. Anything I have done with a pushing, shoving, breaking off intent in mind has worked wonders. Putting up walls and other protections was and is also something I'm good at, but not nearly as much as the driving away of things. And you know what? My drawing spells started to get better. They aren't good still, they're almost comically bad, like a comic-relief witch in a webcomic bad. They're not very effective. But they aren't actively drawing in the opposite if what I want them to. I'm not actively losing money to disaster every time I do a money spell or pulling in negative entities when I want to communicate with helpful spirits. My Intuition is much better now, and my discernment with knowing my own Intuition is also much better.
If you're comfortable, share your own weird witchcraft thing that you do or did. Let's start some interesting conversations on witchblr again.
Worshiping Pan (An extremely brief starter kit)

Overview
Pan is the Greek god of the wild, shepherds, flocks, rustic music, and rustic prophecy. He’s often seen as the border between civilization and the untamed wild, depicted as a satyr/faun with horns and goat legs. Companion to nymphs and a member of Dionysos’s entourage, many people worship him for his connection hunting, strong sexuality, madness (letting one’s wild side take over,) and undomesticated nature.
Ways to Connect
Spend time outside, particularly in areas where the nature is unkempt.
Spend time with farm animals, especially ones that can’t be fully domesticated (there’s a reason he’s so strongly associated with goats.)
Dance like nobody is looking
Ecstatic experiences, like parties and other places you can really let loose
Rustic music, especially with flutes
Help the planet, clean up litter
Offerings and reading Pan’s mythos
Altar Decor Ideas
Pressed plants
Goat and sheep iconography
Furs, antlers, and other animal items (ethically sourced is preferable, of course. If they’re hunted see if it was for meat and if every part of the animal is used, if possible.)
Pan pipes
Pictures of landscapes and nature
Other Notes
The Roman version of Pan is Faunus. While they are very similar there are some differences between them, especially in their depiction.
His name is where the word “panic” comes from, using noise to cause chaos against troops in battle or freaking out travelers in his area.
Pan is the son of Hermes and a nymph. Sometimes this nymph has a name, other times not.
A really traditional way of worshiping him involves night-long parties, a lot of dance, and knowing he’s shown up to the party when someone gets “possessed.”
UPG (Unverified Personal Gnosis)
While he can be very serious and even frightening, his normal face-to-face vibe during prayer is more like a weird friendly uncle.
Due to so many myths of him losing love interests or comforting others who have lost love, I consider him to be a god of heartache as well, willing to help those who are hurting.
I associate him with patchouli and pine.
I also associate him with the That’s Not a Deer up in the mountains near here.

Prayer to Hekate on the Dark Moon
Goddess Hekate, Queen of the Restless Dead,
Hear my prayers on this night that belongs to you and your ghostly entourage!
I ask that you protect my home from all things malevolent and miasmic
Shielding me from all that haunts the night with no moon
Only Begotten Maiden, please look upon me with grace, and spare your loyal follower from the spirits at your command
And may those vengeful and roaming dead that follow you on this night leave me be.
I ask that you also cleanse me, Goddess Hekate, helping me to shed all that ails me and makes me impure
Making me fit to serve you and the other gods, and to aid those around me, free of negativity and unease
May I be renewed upon this night, venturing into the next month with a clean slate
And may I be released from all those things in my life which bring me distress.
Hekate, Mistress of Souls, Averter of Evil, please hear my prayer and grant me your favor on this night!

Darling, why waste your mystical mojo on lackluster vibes? Save your enchantments for when the universe is serving up champagne wishes and caviar dreams! When life's treating you to a buffet of blessings, that's your cue to whip out your cauldron and stir up some spellbinding greatness. Magic isn't just about fixing what's broken; it's about amplifying the fabulousness of the here and now. So, darling, let's sparkle and shine when the stars align, and leave the lackluster behind!

whenever i get sad that i don’t have friends to worship and do rituals with, I remember that birds sing love songs into the sky everyday, and the grass dances in the wind when it blows. And the clouds blush at the sunset, and the wind whistles tunes, and the bees hum, and the deer trot. And then I remember that the river runs, and the flowers open themselves to the sun, and the bugs sleep on warm leaves. and as I walk and pray, perhaps the rabbits nibbling on shrubs are praying too, perhaps that’s why the spider spun her web so beautifully. and then I remember that I’m not worshipping alone. I never was.
Three Types of Charms
Sachet/Spell Jar: bag or bottle that's small enough to carry around. Contains ingredients associated with your intention.
Scroll: a visualization paper. Drawings, sigils, bullet list, color associations, anything that helps you focus your energy to manifest your wants and needs. When you've completed the ritual or ceremony, roll the paper into a palm sized paper egg roll, bind with tape and a ribbon.
Enchanted Object: I usually think of some kind of jewelery that you xan wear, but really it xan be anything you put the energy into imbue with a purpose.
Happy casting
