The Witch and Nature
Chapter-1
Nature:
Nature watched the witch messing her fiery curls, groping about the glass bottles, muttering a few spells, trying to find the right herb. The witch was running about trying to heal one of the magical creatures wounded by the humans. Nature knew that the witch would save the animal, she always did.
She remembered the first time the witch had sought power from her. Like the other magic yielders she had also started the ritual to entice her. Her rhythemic chanting had put her in a trance. Nature knew what would come next. It always did. They would feed her with blood, to coerce her with pleasure, the blood of some innocent animal or child that wasn’t their’s to sacrifice. Nature in her hazy pleasurable trance would grant them the magic, the power.
But once nature was herself, she always regretted having fed on an innocent animal’s blood. Grew furious with the magic weilders for daring to hurt her creation. She couldn’t hurt them directly, but always made sure they were stripped of their powers, met with horrible misfortunes and lost their lives in the most gruesome ways. Afterall nature was magic and magic nature.
Nature was in a sort of daze where she would know what was happening but not be able to control it. She would be taken right over the edge without ever soring.
But the red haired girl had shocked the magic out nature. Instead of blood filled with pain and desperation nature tasted something divine, an ambrosia of magic ,of fierceness, an untainted essence of life. Nature for the first time felt herself soaring with exquisite pleasure. It had been the witch’s own blood. Like it was again today.

Darling, why waste your mystical mojo on lackluster vibes? Save your enchantments for when the universe is serving up champagne wishes and caviar dreams! When life's treating you to a buffet of blessings, that's your cue to whip out your cauldron and stir up some spellbinding greatness. Magic isn't just about fixing what's broken; it's about amplifying the fabulousness of the here and now. So, darling, let's sparkle and shine when the stars align, and leave the lackluster behind!
Lunar Dance (Pokemon Inspired Spell)
A spell to banish negative energy from yourself after a bad day.
You will Need:
Open space (indoors or outdoors, whichever you’re more comfortable with)
Music that make you feel happy
If indoors: open window
(Optional) crystals for banishing negative energy
Time of Day: After dark
Preparation:
Make sure you have an open space to work with that you feel comfortable in. If you prefer to be alone then that is alright. Make sure there is nothing that you may accidentally kick or trip over. Cleanse the space if you choose with some incense. If you wish to have crystals around place them out of your way so you do not step on or hurt yourself on them. If needed take a bath or shower and drink some tea or water before performing this spell.
Steps:
Turn on your music from your music via whatever device you wish to use. I recommend using a short playlist since this may take longer than a song or two but it is your choice. You may play it out in the open or may play it through headphones, whichever you prefer.
Take in some deep breaths and visualize your energy about you, and how it is ‘masked’ by the dark haze of the day or whatever negativity that you wish to banish away.
Once you have visualized this to your like begin dancing, doesn’t matter how you do it. Whether you’re a good dancer or a bad dancer, just let it go and dance. While dancing imagine your energy flowing with you, how it trails you like ribbons tied to a ribbon dancer. How every turn and motion releases that black mist from your energy, clearing it to the color of how it usually appears to you. This mist imagine it raising into the air and up into the sky out of your life. If you are indoors, imagine it going out the open window and into the sky that way.
Dance, hum, sing, spin; do whatever you feel is right even after all the blackness is gone from you. Now imagine the energy of the moon (either above you or through the window) sending down more energy to you, how your energy is growing, glowing and glitters. Listen to your music and let it empower you and feel the energy of your crystals.
Dance until you feel tired or satisfied. With your music still playing drink some water and sit down and rest. Once you have caught your breath end the spell however you see fit. (I myself take a shower)
Note: please if you live with close neighbors don’t play your music too loud especially if it is late. If you are in an apartment building and there are people below do your best not to do this spell too late as to not disturb anyone trying to sleep or settle down. Be respectful of others.

Animal Funerals
A couple of photos of my Animal Funeral series throughout the years. They have always been a meditative ritual for me to do and help me see things more clearly and help me feel more in touch with nature. I hope to make a book one day…

People made so much of Gould's rituals, perhaps as much in hindsight as in the moment, but many/most/all of them made tremendous sense. I don't consider myself to have any particular body temperature anomalies, but I can't tell you the number of times before a performance my hands felt either like blocks of ice or too moist or sticky in the webbing or whatever else. Any time I could wet them down, warm them up, and dry them off, I felt much better.

Magic
I was tempted to title this “Tap-dancing on the fine grey line”, but that’s hardly a helpful introduction for a wider audience.
Before I was a pagan, I was a Christian. That’s not too uncommon. I was more of a nod-and-smile cultural Christian than a devout believer, though I had my moments, and stayed somewhere between my mother (an Elder in the church) and my father (a borderline nihilist who spent his Sundays on home improvement and Socrates). We were a bookish family, but where they read historical biographies or studies on body language I preferred dragons, Russian fairy tales, and Tamora Pierce.
Despite that, and despite keeping a wishing box or blowing out daisies, I didn’t really believe in magic. To some extent I still don’t, at least not throwing fireballs or death hexes (I give summoning demons the benefit of the doubt, because there’s a healthy amount of caution in assuming they might exist).
However.... allow me to go on a little tangent.
Over time, I’ve developed an unusual sort of love for my gods, a sort I can’t compare much else to. It started off rote and awkward, smoothed out, and my prayers started to change from dramatically determined “hallowed be thy name” monotony to more heartfelt expressions of adoration or insecurity. But I’ve felt myself hit a sort of plateau. The words are growing hollow again, the motions boring, even though my appreciation for my gods hasn’t faltered and is stronger than ever. I’ve been reading advice from other blogs, stumbled on relevant advice related to other subjects, and picked up a few interesting things from attempts to socialize with the local pagan community. One thing they all seems to have in common is a suggestion to separate “magic sacred time” and “average Joe time” by altering your state of consciousness.
Some part of me feels like laughing, or wrinkling my nose at the thought of those spiritual sorts who rely on hallucinogenic substances. The part of me that lived with a psychologist for 18+ years sat down and thought about it. The Doorway Effect is a thing. Suspension of disbelief is a thing, I would know as both a book addict and a theatre kid who capitalized on that to pull emotion out of an audience. My conclusion is that you don’t have to know how to meditate or astral project or inhale poison to do this, and that in fact I may have altered my state of mind on multiple occasions without deliberately identifying the occasion as such.
So let’s reel it back in. I’m not entirely sure I believe in magic. But I have, to use a bit of a crude pun, FELT something magical before. I have slipped out of my skin to become awestruck (the Fourth of July fireworks do that to me), become someone else entirely in a way that only other actors and possibly writers really understand, and found something sacred in dancing freely like a hyperactive lunatic where nobody could see me fooling around. But then the question becomes using that to fix my problem. What can I do to make my rituals a little less flat?
Well. In all seriousness, when I was little I used to make salt cellars vanish and playing cards turn tricks in the air. If i want a bit of wonder and pizazz without smoke machines and gel filters.... I could always just use magic. Nothing suspends your disbelief (or is a fabulous icebreaker) quite like sleight-of-hand. Personally, I’m considering lighting my candles with my own fingers, but please don’t try that without excessive amounts of practice, supervision, and a fire extinguisher. Slip a little card magic into your tarot or pull an incense cone from a gargoyle’s ear, light your candle from the vapors alone, maybe add a little borax powder to your incense just for kicks. Even the smallest detail can transform a work of art.
Somewhere out there is a post saying that to read a book is to stare at a piece of dead wood and hallucinate. Quite frankly, if we can pull those kinds of shenanigans on our brains to put ourselves in an altered headspace, it stands to reason we can achieve the same effect through other methods, such as mixing some abracadabra with our prayers. Gods know there’s precedent (Graeco-Roman mystery cults are a fun research topic, FYI).
(2/2) do you have any idea of what i could do or how i could do the ritual?? youre my inspiration in witchcraft, i love your blog
Thank you dear 🌺 I’m so glad you’re at the point where you want to accept your power. Now, since I dont know you’re living situation and I can’t tell if you still live with your Christ following parents or not, I’m gonna list some things and you pick and choose what you can do.
Location:
The bathroom. Often the most private room in the house. A ton of witches dunk themselves into a body of water or take a speacil herbal bath to mark them as a witch, as a symbol or rebirth
Your bedroom. You can tell your parents or whoever that you are going to be studying for something or taking a nap so they won’t disturb you. The bedroom is also a very sacred place, where you dream.
Outside. If you live in a more rural area, outside, possibly in the woods, would be a good place. The outdoors and nature are sacred and holy and can help you connect to many goddesses, including Gaia
Tools:
A candle to represent all goddesses. This candle can be white, black or rainbow. A candle is a point of energy, something for them to feed off of. And it marks their presence.
A crystal. This can also be your point of energy for the goddesses. Crystals are also very helpful, I would suggest rose quartz, clear quartz or larimar for this.
Drawings of goddesses your interested in.
Incense
Perfumes, to give as offering (if you do this outside dont pour it on the ground and if you spray it do it over yourself or your altar, if its on a table), to anoint and bless things or yourself.
Offerings. Whether it be food, drink, dancing, singing or what have you.
This ritual can be as elaborate or simple as you want.
I would suggest calling on the goddesses and giving them some kind of offering. Given their permission (whenever I ask for permission I usually feel a good or bad feeling) you could consume it in their stead. You can annoint yourself, make a declaration or dance to “transition” from being a “normal person” into a full on witch. Meditation and prayer are going to be key.
Sorry it took me a bit to answer this, I wanted to do so properly. Good luck hun 🌺❤🕯🦇

Lose control (part 1)
Cw: sexual content, dubious consent from both parties.
Ao3 tags: soft kylo, kylo ren needs a hug, forced marriage, crying, hugging, fluff I guess, angst/comfort.
Wc: many idk ;)
Your hands trembled slightly. Fingers clutching the bouquet of blood red roses in your hands, small thorns digging into you’re skin, penetrating the soft skin of your palms and drawing dribbles of blood, colour matching the roses. The long, heavy dress only getting heavier, hotter while your legs miraculously moved you down the aisle. The heavy jewels from your home planet not helping the already heavy feeling of your gown. The further your legs carried you down towards the monster at the altar, the more tears welled in your eyes. Your white veil hid your sad tears from the ocean of First order officials and the few known faces of royals and aristocrats from home. Being princess of the most powerful planet in the inner rim seemed like a dream, when you were younger. Now it seemed more like a nightmare.
The huge, menacing black clad shadow before you, the commander of the first order, Kylo Ren, didn’t even look at you. Though that was hard to see, since his mask hid his face, if he had one. You hadn’t seen him without his mask yet, you didn’t know if your to-be husband was even human. You reached the altar and handed the bouquet to a bridesmaid you didn’t know, someone they had put there for show. Everything was fake. The bridesmaids, probably the groomsmen too, the love and romance was fake, the ‘happy’ tears rolling down your family’s cheeks. The only seemingly real thing were the roses in your hands, the pain from the thorns keeping you grounded as it seemed the air slowly left your lungs and your blood flow slowed down.
He still wouldn’t look at you, even though you stood right in front of him. The room went silent as the official began talking, his words muddled into a stream of incoherent sounds in your head. Everything swam, got blurry and unrecognisable. The tears slowly streamed down your cheeks and dripped from your chin onto your dress. A hand gripped your right one, and the defending silence ended. Your eyes directed to his helmet hidden ones, as his deep static voice sounded in the cold air. “Princess?” You had been lost in thought and missed the official asking you whether you would take this ‘man’ as your husband. “I do. I do.” Your soft voice sounded and cheers from the many benches erupted. A ring was slid onto your finger and the commander led you down the aisle. His large frame nearly hid you completely, if it weren’t for the enormous dress you were wearing. Your hand was wrapped around his large bicep, trying to hold you steady on your trembling legs. You were married. Married to the commander of the first order. Married to Kylo Ren. Married to a Monster. You reached the hallway with your husband on your arm. The crowd followed you while chanting, hyping everyone up for the ritual. You feared the ritual, always had.
Your planet even though being very technically advanced and being on trend with everything, was still bound to old traditions. Medieval methods if you will. What waited for you, was ‘very’ romantic sex with a man you had never seen, let alone met, while the official and several priests watched you consummate the marriage and ensure the promise of an heir. To say you were nervous was an understatement. You trembled harder and more tears ran down your face as you neared the quarters where the ritual would be held. ***
Kylo felt her grip his arms tighter and he looked down at the princess, his wife now. Her hands were shaking and tears littered the front of her dress. Under his helmet his own lips trembled at the absurdness of the situation. He walked faster towards the room at the end of the hall, wanting just a minute alone with the princess so he could calm her down before the handmaids came to undress her.
Finally the door stood in front of them, and one of his knights opened the door. Kylo pulled the princess inside as fast as he could without literally throwing her. She whimpered and began to softly sob behind the veil. He took of his leather gloves off and threw them wherever, he reached for her veil while shushing her. As her beautiful face came into view, he quickly pulled of his own disguise. She gasped and looked at him in awe. Feeling like they might be running out of time he grabbed her hands in his own enormous ones and looked into her sad eyes.
“Princess. I need you to listen to me. Can you do that?” She weakly nodded and gave his hands a slight squeeze. “Alright. I’m not going to hurt you, I promise. I probably want this just as little as you, alright? I’ll be gentle and I need you to tell me if you feel uncomfortable during the ritual, okay?” Again she only nodded, seemingly to nervous and scared to talk.
A door behind them opened and three handmaids bustled into the room. They pulled the princess from him before he could say another word. The ritual had begun.
Why I Do Spellwork
I am not new to the world of magick and have been practicing spellcasting for nearly 6 years now, refining my skills in rituals and spellcasting. I never could be religious about my beliefs although I have tried in the past and found that I use magick best as a mental strategy to manage feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress.
Everyone is different when it comes to their reasons to begin their spiritual journey into witchcraft and although it sounds like a religion it can be as religious as it can be nonreligious. I tend to practice on the nonreligious side. Sure I like hearing the stories that come with deities, Gods, Goddesses, etc. I find them to be something quite interesting and all have morals. One could always learn from tales of old. Their symbolism means a lot to me when it comes to spell crafting and although I may not worship them, I see them as spiritual guides.
I am no master at the craft, I am always learning more each day I study. Each day I learn something new about myself and what materials and symbols mean for my spells. I enjoy learning. I feel like the mind becomes more and more aware with the knowledge that fills it.
I use my studies not only for me but I find it useful to help others who ask for it. I always focus on the positive outlook of spellwork, I work to achieve happiness, luck, protection, etc. If someone came to me for a protective spell or charm I would put my little heart and soul into it to help them. I sometimes think that I worry too much for others and I care too deeply (that’s usually what gets me hurt), but the feeling of helping others is too good for me to stop.
Overall, spellwork and rituals really help influence the energy around me. Whether it is to help my mental state or to help protect my home from negative forces. Spellworking is a gift and a spiritual guide to the unknown and to understand better yourself and the others around you.
Across the Veil
I've been seeing frequently around the web of people looking more into spirit communication and working with spirits with spooky season rolling around so I thought that making a series on my blog talking about safety and how-to's would be a good idea and get a bit more engagement on my page :) If you're interested and want to know more before you get started click the 'keep reading'...if you dare
1. STOP GETTING ADVICE OR TELLING PEOPLE TO GET ADVICE FROM TIKTOK
I genuinely cannot express how DANGEROUS this is. I deleted tiktok nearly a year ago now, and to give credit there are respectful and knowledgeable practicers on there that do warn people, but for the most part people are giving harmful advice on what to do because they want something and want it now or they are teenagers with very little experience (respectfully) There are plenty of very old and wise websites that are run by very wise and in-tune witches or psychics that have been doing this for years and will give you real tips on what to do if spirit magick or communication is what you want to dive into The best way in my opinion to learn (at least for me) is to buy or look for older books on rituals and spirits but always double check the authors credibility and use your own intuition to know if they're spitting possible BS before you buy it
2. Never actively reach out or try to provoke a spirit.
When I was younger and realized what I was frequently seeing were spirits, I became obsessed and wanted to see them all the time or really test how close I could get and if I could possibly even talk to them outside of when I was sleeping. More often then not though, what I learned was that the spirits that you'll end up reaching out to the most, especially without wards or protection on you, are ones that are miserable, upset, or are looking for someone to latch onto to share their pain with or to not be lonely anymore. Spirits are shy and sometimes more afraid of you then you are of them. I often see them more in the reflects of smaller mirrors in my room that I have cleansed or lingering in isolated areas just observing; I once however had a spirit latch onto me for almost 2 weeks to the point I slept with my door locked and my familiar in my room and had to actively avoid dark zones in my mom's home for it to leave, and when I was much younger I had a spirit tormenting me at night for a year so much that I slept with a bible under my pillow and a cross in front of my bed to keep it away. 3. If you hear something talking to you in the woods or at night in your home outside of your protected place like your room NEVER talk back to it
In the part above I mentioned a spirit that latched onto me and made me lock my doors at night. I was probably 17 at the time and still living at home with my mom and younger sister, I was getting water and it was around 11 pm when I hear something around the corner and into the dark hallway outside of the kitchen where I had the lights on saying "What are you looking for Roxie?" in a distorted voice that sounded like my mom's but gave me the chills since I knew that it wasn't her. I looked around and she was in her room with the door shut, and it was just me and my familiar in the kitchen where he was eating before I promptly turned away and turned the lights off before heading to my room and calling for my familiar to also come to bed. For the next two weeks it became more and more persistent, hiding and watching in the dark corners of rooms to the point I could nearly see an outline of it. I had to lock the door because at night I would hear something touch the handle, or knock into the door and I would even hear a faint distorted meow that sounded a lot like my familiar but I knew it wasn't him because he was already in the room with me, often sleeping at the foot of my bed or sitting in front of the door just watching it. I never spoke to it or engaged with it, and only in my room where I knew I was safe I would lock the door and say, "I'm not going to share your misery with you, you need to leave." very firmly or would actively force myself to be positive and stay away from negative thoughts because that's the energy it was feeding off of.
Unless the ritual or spell you're performing is actively needing spirit guide or help to work or be strengthened, leave the other ones alone and it is just my personal preference and advice to only work doing the evening or early in the morning when there is still a bit of day light out just incase the wrong spirit tries coming to you
