You want to know what I just realized? How do Andrew’s arms not get all itchy and sweaty when tight armbands with knives underneath are literally on him 24 hours a day? Is it explained in the books?

Like I bet he’s always relieved taking them off and can finally run his arms under water and wash them with soap and shit. It’s probably his equivalent of taking off a tight bra after a long day or something, idk.

neil hates pop music. (this is canon)

aaron listens to taylor swift (courtesy of katelyn) his favourite albums are folklore and ttpd, he is also a phoebe bridgers enjoyer

katelyn loves taylor swift, olivia rodrigo, sabrina carpenter, madison beer, all the pop girlies

andrew listens to heavy metal and hard rock and occasionally a girlypop glitter gel pen song but no one (except maybe neil) will ever know (he'd probably like arctic monkeys, paramore and exclusively get him back! by olivia rodrigo)

kevin fucks heavily with tchaikovsky, shostakovich and vivaldi (he's just like me fr)

jean probably doesn't know a lot of modern music but is getting into some modern sad songs (courtesy of the trojans; some of his favourites are folklore/evermore/ttpd songs, gracie abrams, the grudge and logical by olivia, phoebe bridgers, billie eilish, mitski, lana del rey, laufey and conan gray)

kevin also probably likes mitski and lana if we're talking modern music

i feel like allison would listen to all kinds of music but her top artists are probably charli xcx, ariana grande, sabrina carpenter, maybe a bit of lana?

matt loves pop but also fucks w rnb for working out and stuff (his top artists are probably taylor swift and the weeknd)

neil is forced to listen to modern music with the foxes and the only artists he'll admit to kind of liking are the neighbourhood and some lana

dan would probably like rap and rnb but she wouldn't mind taylor swift kind of pop (she and the girls listen to bad blood canon)

renee would probably enjoy beabadoobee, laufey, clairo and bruno mars (and jazz/indie in general)

jeremy, cat and laila have pretty similar music tastes (fairly mainstream, mostly pop; taylor, ariana, olivia, sabrina, a bit of maisie peters, harry styles, CHAPPELL ROAN, and one direction sue me)

I love this 🤣 and Matt’s just so happy that Aaron’s coming out of his shell and Neil is making time for him.

Based on the EC and canon, Neil isn't the jealous type. He gets along with Roland fine. And I don't think he'd notice or care if anyone hit on Andrew unless it was making Andrew feel uncomfortable, and even then, he'd respect Andrew wanting to handle the situation himself, he trusts Andrew completely.

I'd like to think that although Neil isn't the jealous boyfriend type, he is ABSOLUTELY a crazy jealous best friend

If Matt starts spending more time with Aaron (cause they are roommates now) Neil would get angry, and act even more bitchier towards Aaron who would either roll his eyes over Neil's immaturity or be just as immature and rub it in by posting pics of he and Matt having movie nights and Neil scrolls through the pics with a feverish rage that makes Kevin and Andrew shake their heads with exasperation.

Neil is already insecure about being a friend, especially with a social butterfly like Matt. What if Matt thinks that Aaron is a more fun and interesting friend than he is? 🥺

Meanwhile, Aaron finds he likes Matt a lot, dudes solid, and they have a lot in common as former addicts whose parents got them addicted, they are both backliners and they are both total simps for their girlfriends. Also Matt's mom is super cool and Aaron likes her a lot.

Neil internally screeches with fury while clinging to Matt's arm, while throwing hateful glances at a smug Aaron who deliberately makes an inside joke with Matt. Neil checks Aaron into a wall when practice resumes even though he doesn't have the ball.

Andrew and Dan are very amused

Neil finds out that Aaron and Matt are planning a double date with Kate and Dan and he shamelessly crashes it. Andrew refused to be involved with this new low, so Neil drags a super confused Kevin to the triple date (Neil lied and told him they were going out for smoothies).

I feel like Neil should be allowed to be a hot mess now that he's not being hunted anymore.

Totally sleep deprived dehydrated and starving right now but Harry Potter Percy Jackson Neil Josten all are the same people in different fonts. 

1. All of them have orange symbolism- Harry being in Gryffindor yeah I know the house colours are red and gold but its close, Percy with the half-blood camp orange shirt and Neil with the fox’s orange team colour.

2. All of them falling for smart asses who are the only people who understand what they have been through and chose to stay with them despite the former thinking they are not worth it- Harry with ginny, Percy with Annabeth and Neil with Andrew. 

3. All of them having a best friend who were the first to show them kindness and respect after years of neglect and abuse- Ron literally adopts Harry by the end of their first train ride to Hogwarts, Grover was Percy’s only friend and while Percy kind of took pity on him Grover was his only friend in the school and protects him even though Percy is not aware of how. Matt being the first person to respect Neil’s privacy, genuinely trying to involve him all the team activities and helping him settle into college life, not questioning his aversion to touch and his discomfort in using the locker room with the other members.

4. On that note also having bad ass moms who did everything to protect their sons- Lily Potter and Mary Hatford both hid from the enemy and died brutal deaths to save their sons and Sally Jackson stayed with Gabe probably for the financial benefits for Percy until she finally stood up for herself and murdered him.

 5. Being the chosen ones- Harry and Percy obviously but you could argue that Neil is also a ‘chosen one’ not only chosen by Kevin but initially chosen by the Moriyamas before his mother took him and ran away.

6. And of course their penchant for instigating the enemy by verbally slaughtering them instead of trying to save their own lives. 

I’m probably just seeing things because all these characteristics are vague but the more I think about it the more it makes sense.
