…megs would be so intrigued by you!!! He’d wonder how you became a jujutsu sorcerer if you’re deaf - how could you hear curses? Weren’t you in more danger than normal?

He’d feel oddly…protective over you, wanting to keep you safe. He’d honestly chalk it down to brotherly love (yes he’s that dense). He’d start spending more time around you than any of the others and would gradually start picking up on your habits -

He’d notice that you take your shoes and socks off to feel the vibrations on the floor from the music playing, he’d catch you practicing your vowels in the reflection of the fridge door and he’d notice the concentration on your face when you fix your eyes on people’s mouths to catch what they were saying.

You’d both become closer over time after his confusing protective nature over you - holding you back before you collided with someone, standing tall behind you if someone picked on your speech, he’d even ask for things for you when you both went out.

After a while megs would still feel slightly distant since you both still had trouble understanding each other so imagine his surprise when he opened his dorm’s door one night to find you stood there with an old damaged notebook and pen.

Shocked even more when you explained you were there to help him with sign language, the scraggly little notebook filled with small doodles of hand signs with notes beneath in explanation and what they meant. His heart almost soared at this, you were so caring, so kind enough to have done this for him.

Eventually megs would start sneaking over to your dorm at night to help you with your pronunciation in exchange, claiming it was only right to return the favor…

Which would lead to megumi sneaking over to your dorm at night with your notebook in hand and snacks in the other which would usually lead to you forgetting about the lessons, instead choosing a movie or two.

The other’s would often notice megumi walking around with his eyes glued to a ruled notebook sometimes even catching him signing with his hands.

^ This would actually lead to megumi automatically signing when thanking or asking for something before catching himself (even when you’re not around).

But then came the pounding of his heart and clamminess of his hands, the contradicting thoughts and the freshly sprayed cologne on his neatly straightened uniform as he packed everything he’d need before making his way to your dorm which, in a way, started feeling like study dates without the studying.

The nervousness he’d suddenly feel around you would cause him to mumble and fidget with his hands which wasn’t good since you were constantly switching back and forth from his mouth to his hands.

You’d begin to feel like there was a slight rift between you two since megumi had picked up a habit of constantly mumbling and fidgeting but then at some point out of the blue you’d both be on a walk through kyoto when you feel a tug on your hand, stopping you in your tracks.

Turning around you realise megumi had something on his mind by the way he was playing with your fingers, avoiding eye contact. He’d just stand there for a minute before raising his hands and signing with both his hands and mouth, ‘let’s be a couple’ while he nibbles his lips.

megs would start to panic from the lack of response and the look on your face only worsens his worries thinking he’s either been too forward or worse - it’s one sided.

But his worries quickly melt away when he sees the smile gradually take over your face before signing AND pronouncing ‘finally’ just the way he taught you.

Yuji

Yuji downright catches you two making out completely by accident. He borrowed a copy of a certain manga from megumi and planned to return it so when megumi told him just to bring it to his room to return it when he found the time, he not so subtly stumbled upon his two friends. Megumi was sat on his bed, you comfortably on his lap as sucked faces. His hands were rubbing your bad under your shirt, toying with the strap of your bra. Megumi’s hands moved to your hips to grind you on top of him.

Just as you were about to take the lead - “oh shit” stood at the entrance of your boyfriend’s door was non other than Yuji, eyes wide as he took in the position of you both. It took a few seconds of stuttered and jumbled up words only for megumi to grab a pillow and throw it in Yuji direction “piss off! Why don’t you knock next time?!” Narrowly missing the attack, yuji bent down to place the manga on the floor before quickly scurrying off in the furthest direction, “I’m so telling Gojo Sensei!”

Nobara

Nobara can tell straight off the bat just simply from the way you smile. “Why’re you smiling so damn much?” She’d ask, knowing damn well why. “Don’t I always smile this much?” Normally she’d agree until she sees the way your eyes flicker over to the table behind her, already imagining the love-stricken face a certain dark haired boy held. The next clue was the your reaction to a notification sounding on your phone, nearly diving for the device and soon followed by an even wider smile. “You’re practically glowing, you fucked already huh” whipping your head towards your friend you fumble over your words as a hue of pink stains your face - a dead giveaway. “that’s a sex glow if I’ve ever seen one”

Yuta

He is the one who keeps his nose out of everyone's business but even he couldn't help but feel intrigued when he noticed that Megumi had your scent on him one morning. Tasked with training with the first years, he was paired with Megumi. Battling back and forth caused the two to be within close proximity to each other, allowing Yuta to notice the whiff of perfume on Megumi’s uniform. Strange, where had he smelt that before? He’d find it strange how strong the scent was and took it upon himself to find out.

His opportunity arose on his walk through the school’s gardens, nearly knocking heads with you before he caught himself. Yuta didn’t even have time to open his mouth before a certain scent practically punched him in the face. And it certainly didn’t help when he was sat between you both on the field, overwhelmed with the mix of smells. “Do you guys swap deodorant or something?” Megumi just scrunched his eyebrows in frustration, his attention taken away from his book, “what the hell are you talking about now?” The irritation was clear in his voice as Yuta’s eyes flickered between you two. “You two smell like each other, why? You sleeping in the same bed or somethin’?”

Maki

Ohohoho she knew. Maki’s not stupid, she can see the way you both steal glances at each other, the secret smiles in the hallways, the ‘slick’ passing of notes… so when you start making excuses on days you’re due to train together she knew exactly where you’d be. “I’m really sorry but my mum asked me to head into Kyoto later to get something for her” another one of your white lies bled through your teeth. She just raised an eyebrow to your poor excuse. “A-ha, you heading there with your boytoy?” This of course caused you to trip over your words- “wha-I don’t-boyfriend? What’s that?” Only to receive a deadpan face in return.

Not only was that embarrassing enough but you just had to run into her in the hallways of your school - no less holding hands with your ‘boytoy’. “Oi name!” You heard from the other end of the hall, and unfortunately for megumi, causing your instincts to kick in. Quickly snatching your hand from his grasp you shoved him into a nearby classroom (hopefully not currently in use) followed by a crash bang - the tell tale signs of an upcoming injury and whiny boyfriend. “What was that?” Although she knew full well what - or who - that was. “Nothing! You’re seeing things!” You spat out in a panic. “Uh-huh, well tell megumi to come out when he has time, he has training with Gojo Sensei”

Gojo & Toge

Toge, the bastard, even though his speech fails him that doesn’t stop him from becoming the school’s gossip queen. Toge would be the one to tell everyone in the school group chat which of course includes Gojo which also leads the entirety of Japan to find out. And Gojo, oho Gojo, he’d make it his life mission to involve himself as much as possible in Megumi’s life. They’d actually work together; Toge would gather information and pass it on to his Sensei only for Gojo to use it against his son. They’d have their little gossip sesh during class of course, absolutely no shame whatsoever. But the way they found out was unfortunately unforgettable.

Walking into class after hours to get his pencil case that he mistakenly forgotten, Toge only walked in to find you sat on megumi’s desk with the boy sat on his chair with his head on your lap. Megumi had a girlfriend? Toge was almost convinced that he wasn’t into girls seeing as he paid no attention or care to the opposite sex. Oh how wrong he was. Of course he took a picture, what else was he supposed to do? Walk away? “Oh and what’s this?” Behind him of course was non other than the infamous six eyes - also his teacher. “Little Megumi’s not so little anymore huh”. If anyone were to see them they’d surely come off as creeps with Gojo’s tall frame shadowing Toge’s, both peeking through the screen door of the classroom. “Send me that picture won’t you?” Fortunately for them they didn’t make themselves noticeable, unfortunately for you word spread the next day.

Jjk opinions/headcannons (regarding ig common mischaracterizations imo) that I think would start fights but I already chose this hill to die on so here they are

-Fushiguro is a Cat Person. Not like he would wear cat ears on his headphones, but isn't a dog person.

Megumi loves his dogs, his first shikigami that were with him since he was a child, but he loves animals in general - - and these dogs are shikigami. His incantation doesn't last forever. They aren't loud and attention seeking and smelly all the time.

I think that if a dog approaches him he would pat it and want to be alone after 20 seconds. He isn't one for the breath or the slobber or the noise.

I think he calls out his demon dogs the most because it requires the least cursed energy and is convenient. They can track scents, guide, eat curses, etc. It isn't necessarily bc they're his favorite, and dogs certainly aren't his favorite of natural animals.

Cats though?? Fushiguro is skeptical, quiet, and calm... Until his sense of boundaries is crossed, and then he'll go all out fighting. I could defend my answer forever but dude is cat energy and I respect him for it.

-Choso is nonbinary. Idk what exactly, maybe a demiboy, maybe he wouldn't prioritize finding a label. I think he would come across that word by accident and say "oh! That's me!" and point to himself and even feel a bit proud of the discovery, and excited to share something so inherent to his identity with Yuuji.

I also can only see Choso dating nonbinary people, but no one in particular. I rly don't care for ships with him, I think we need to let Choso build platonic friendships before thrusting romantic bs onto him.

However I do..... I want to see Choso and Geto kiss. Obv not in canon, I don't see that working out. Satosugu forever but in another time, Gojo/Sukuna and Choso/Geto would be so sweet. I think they'd understand each other so well, or at the least be besties who can match each others' energy.

So if your upset or just emotionally tired he'll for the first time initiate cuddling, rubbing circles on your back with your head in his chest. And while your drifting to sleep you can feel a very soft kiss on your forehead.

-`ღ´- Boyfriend Megumi who really isn't into PDA but will do pinkie holding, its the little things for Megumi. Or having you lean your head on his shoulder, he's gotten so used to it by now that if you don't do it he'll think your mad at him.

-`ღ´- Boyfriend Megumi who secretly loves teasing you, like messing with you. But he'll make it seem like its a pain to deal with, for example if you have a favorite cup or plushie he'll put it up high for you to ask him to take it down for you. And when you ask how'd it get up there he'll say, "I don't know maybe it got tired of your drool on its face and made its escape."

-`ღ´- Boyfriend Megumi who gets lowkey jealous when you spend time with the other first years, and don't even spare him a glance. He's not the possessive type but he will manage to be close enough to you so you'll recognize him at some point.

-`ღ´- Boyfriend Megumi who lovess your kisses, all of them. Whether it be cheek kisses, forehead kisses, hell even blowing him an air kiss when you leave him. It never fails to make him all giddy inside, so when you tease him into give him a kiss and back out, expect him to pout and try and kiss you back.

-`ღ´- Boyfriend Megumi who can't get enough of you in his clothes, he just loves pulling you into his arms and inhaling your scent, smiling at the fact you put on perfume over his loose hoodie. He especially loves it when you make an outfit of his clothes, trying to hide his excitement when you ask if you both can match.

“Megumi’s ears turn pink when he lies.”

“They do not!” Megumi’s eyes shot up from the book he had been reading, wide and shocked that you would say such a thing. But — sure enough — within seconds of saying that his ears had started to change to a shade of pinks

As if sensing it, his dropped his book and quickly covered his ears. You had started to laugh alongside your two other friends, finding the display to be comical and cute at the same time.

“No way!” Yuji laughed, Nobara had fallen into his side from laughing at the fact that brooding, stoic Megumi couldn’t lie without a dead giveaway. “Yes way! It’s been like that since we were kids!” You exclaimed proudly, ignoring the way Megumi grumbled as you further damned him.

“I always forget the two of you go WAY back.” Nobara finally caught her breath, wiping the tears from her eyes as she straightened again. “Yep, since Gojo brought him in.” You slung your arm around Megumi’s shoulder just for him to push it off.

“Aw ease up, Meg! You can tell them an embarrassing secret about me if you wanna make things even.” You pouted, bringing your drink to your lips as his gaze met yours.

“Y/N used to sleep in my bed until we entered middle school.”

You choked on the fizzy drink you had been sipping, half of it going back into the cup as you started to cough. “AYE!” Yuji seemed more appalled than Nobara, the short haired girl just muffling her laughter behind her hand.

You recovered quickly, setting your drink down just to smile sweetly. “I only stopped because Megumi got embarrassed about waking up with a morning hard-on everyday.” Forget his ears turning pink, Megumi’s entire face was turning bright red.

“I was going through puberty!” He practically hissed at you, ignoring the fact that Nobara and Yuji were practically crying at this point as the two of you argued like an old married couple.

An unfinished thought but it makes me giggle regardless :)

Please, just imagine, how fckng wholesome it would be, just to lay in bed with Megumi while it storms outside and he's just casually reading a book behind you, you sit between his legs, snuggled on to him both of you covered with a fluffy blanket and while you watch something/netflix/tiktok/playing a video game or whatever, he sometimes reads something he finds interesting out loud to you and wants your opinion while he also sometimes listens to your comments to your videos/movie/game or whatever and you both just enjoy the time together! Imagine Megumi just randomly comes into your room, where u just lay down in bed chilling, scrolling through your phone and he doesn't say anything, just approach you, lift up your arms over his head and lay down between your legs, face down buried in your boobs and just sighs. When you ask him what's up, he stays silent for a minute before he lifts his head a bit and looks at you with a faint blush.

"I was stressed..."

"But not anymore?", you ask and he shakes his head.

And even though you had the urge to get up and slap that white haired dork for giving such shameless advice to your precious boyfriend, it melted your heart a bit, that your breasts had such an effect on your boyfriend. And tbh, you could hit Satoru later for that. In a way, Gojo even kinda helped you out since Megumi would never get such an idea himself. And that insecure blushed face he had right now was too adorable to not pull him into a tender kiss.

So we all know his type is 'tall girl with a big ass'. But, we also know he's not that shallow. (cue that chapter from the manga i dont remember its name)

He's an absolute sweetheart!!! He would treat you so well

Flowers!!! Yuuji would give you flowers everyday. He tries to write cute notes too but gives up after Megumi and Nobara tell him it's childish and cringe.

(But hey! Itadori is adorable enough to make up for the lack of cute notes)

Instantly becomes your parents' favorite. They love him. Probably more than you but they won't ever say it tho. Gets along well with your dad. They talk about sports, movies etc etc

Movie dates! Lots of them! He also takes you out for food. He'll make you meatballs whenever you feel down. He will give them to you and say "I added an extra ingredient, guess what it is." "What?" "It's lots and lots of love!" He's so adorable

Loooooves cuddles. And cannot fall asleep without you in his arms. Usually he's a big spoon but sometimes, especially when sukuna is taunting him and he gets sad he would want to be the little spoon.

I feel that he likes it when you give him cheek kisses.

Overall he's good boyfriend material and will keep you so happy :')

He's kinda awkward and shy. So expect lots of blushing and stuttering. He doesn't say I love you a lot but his affection and kind gestures are enough.

Megumi's not into PDA much. The most he can do is holding hands but his hands get sweaty 'cause he is nervous and it feels kinda weird

He brings you red roses and his face is the same color when he gives them to you XD He asks Nobara for some fashion advice so he can dress up better and impress you. He was extremely quiet when asking and Nobara could hear only bits so she snapped. Poor Megumi then blurted out that he wanted to impress and Nobara burst our laughing and called him a simp. But, she did take him shopping to find new clothes tho

He also took Nobara's help to pick out clothes for you too. The clothes looked great on you and you were really happy (he had to buy Nobara food for a week tho)

His shikigami looooove you. The demon dogs always run to you for head pats. Megumi just sits and watches you play with the dogs with a small smile on his face.

He's a good, shy awkward cute little boyfriend who will look at you like you're his world :,)

Doe eyes

Y/n looked at megumi with the doe eyes making his heart almost bast out of his chest. 'Fuck, too much adorable!' He thought to himself as he face away from y/n to hide his red face

Seems like he’s really organized but a slob (but like normal teen boy slob)

Only reason his room is organized is because that what he does when he can’t sleep

Was put in hip hop classes by Gojo and now secretly sneaks off campus to go practice

Mans is a Capricorn so he’s low key crazy but really fun when he trusts you

I really hc Megumi in the dub, not because it’s better, but because he’s so curt and snappy

Takes two showers a day, one hot one cold- don’t ask me why

I feel like he’s naturally good at video games

I also hc that he’s low key really competitive

Was forced to sit in the middle seat of a car because Yuji was taller and Nobara didn’t want to sit in the middle

Constantly debating trying to name his divine dogs and other shikigami because he tried it once before and it died

This happened when he was like 13 and it scared him for life

Doesn’t panic or cry when something major happens but hyperventilates and gets more snappy then usual

Zones in when writing reports for missions and doesn’t even notice when Yuji and Nobara enter his dorm and hang out there

He’s been going on Gojo’s grade 4 and below missions since he was in middle school

Neither of them told Tsumiki and she was pissed when she found out

Tried asking Gojo about his dad once when the topic came up and Gojo didn’t talk to Megumi for the rest of the day

Can cook simple dishes because Gojo also can cook minimal dishes

Picks up things really fast, martial arts, cooking, music, techniques

Really popular but he doesn’t know/doesn’t believe it

Says stupid stuff like “time for you to get a watch” when someone asks the time

Minimalist fashion but really expensive

Has occasional circle group time with the other first years

Also is used to Maki and Nobara dealing with their own problems in the most aggressive feminine manner ever

Gojo made all kinds of dad jokes when he was younger so now that’s his go-to sense of humor

Not socially awkward but also not very interactive

Little kids are always drawn to him

He likes kids but doesn’t know how to deal with them

Saw a girl who looked like Tsumiki while out in Tokyo and freaked out

Doesn’t think he should see a therapist

I think that he’d be a fan of Seinfeld

He thinks it’s hilarious and watches it over and over again

Also really liked that movie Rescued by Ruby and was devastated when he found out the dog who played Ruby died irl

The only reason he doesn’t like fiction books is because he finds all kinds of plot holes and hates it

History nerd- developed during the start of his non-fiction phase

Startled by the thought of aliens being real

Doesn’t like thinking of space or other universes, it hurts his brain

Definitely holds his breath when going over bridges

Probably calls out animals when driving past them

Yuji and Nobara are so done with him for doing this

He really likes the hole-in-the-wall and mom and pop restaurants
