IN THE PUPPETEER AU

.MK is the adopted child of two puppeteers (still haven't decided on human, puppet or demon)

.MK's parents discovered MK when he was still a cub, while they were foraging for food and wood

.MK's parents names are Xiao Yun and Xiao XingXing

.Yun and XingXing care very deeply for their child and would do anything to protect them from harm, especially from his former family

.Yun and XingXing teach their son puppetry and how to create his own puppet also including on how to install weapons inside and creating/sewing their clothes

.Members of the circus would include MK in their acts (they wanted MK to experience the joy of making people laugh and smile)

.MK creates a monkey puppet (His parents' puppets are some type of clowns or jesters with demon monkey attributes)

.MK names his puppet Ping and treats Ping as if they were his own child or friend

.Ping will eventually gain a conscious of its own and would only recognize MK as its creator/father (just like sun wukong's staff and macaque's shadow)

.MK creates his own acts that includes Ping (knife throwing, trapeze, dancing, playing music,etc.)

.Yun and XingXing train MK and Ping on how to work/perform together

.the circus was taking a two month break from performing and decided to return home (their home is hidden in a secret location and this was during the time when Yun and XingXing found MK)

.Yun and XingXing discovered their cub, MK (this was while were foraging for food and wood)

.the circus were setting up camp nearby a temple (the temple has long be forgotten and abandoned, the circus members still went to the temple to pay theirrespects to whatever god or deity maybe residing within the temple and for allowing the circus members safe passage through their land)

.Yun and XingXing humbly prayed to the residing god or deity to watch over their child

.the circus members decided to perform their acts before the god or deity

.Yun and XingXing performed with their puppets while singing (XingXing) and playing music (Yun) (their puppets Song (Yun's puppet) and Huan (XingXing's puppet) performed the dance) (the puppeteers spent many years honing their skills that it can appear as though the puppets were dancing by themselves)

Spider MK

I've been wanting to draw a spider version of MK for a while now (it was fun to play with his phobia) and as you can see I really didn't have a fixed idea of ​​what it would look like, so I just drew a bunch of ideas that came to mind, but the general idea is that MK can be in his "normal" form and transform into a more arachnid form.

My idea is that, unlike Spider Queen and the others, who are more mechanical, MK's transformation would be more organic(?), and that he has 3 forms, normal, half spider and full spider, a bit like Huntsman (with the headcanon that he can make himself small in his full spider form🙃).

I came to the conclusion that his spider form would be more like Spider Queen than her henchmen.

Ya desde hacía tiempo quería dibujar una versión araña de MK (fue divertido jugar con su fobia) y como se puede ver realmente no tenia una idea fija de como seria, así que solo dibuje un montón de ideas que se me fueron ocurriendo, pero la idea general es que MK puede estar en su forma "normal" y transformarse en una forma más arácnida.

Mi idea es que, a diferencia de Spider Queen y los demás, que son arañas más mecánicas, la transformación de MK sería más orgánica, y que tiene 3 formas, la normal, la que es mitad araña y la que es completamente arañ, un poco parecido a Hunstman (con el headcanon de que puede puede hacerse pequeño en su forma completamente araña🙃).

Llegue a la conclusión que su forma de araña se parecería más a Spider Queen, que a la de sus ayudantes.

So I had this idea, just something I thought about.

What if MK was a dad? Just how do you think it would be?

Let's eliminate the subject of who the mother is because I don't know, so we'll take her out and I'll continue with the explanation.

I wondered how this would be, the life they would have, who they would be, and how they would behave having a father who is the successor of the Monkey King. It sounds pretty cool, doesn't it?

So this is Mk, a single dad who has five children in his care. They are four boys and one girl. And they are called Dishi, DingBang, Hao, Mao, and little BaoBao.

They weren't born with an amazing lineage other than being recognized as children of the Monkie Kid by their closest friends, they don't have much fame to brag about or be exposed to, but this is fine. MK wants them to live as normally as possible.

Only, come on, we know that's impossible when MK has a dragon girl and a demon as best friends and maybe some reincarnations of the pilgrims from "Journey to the West". So he has to settle for that.

And if you're wondering what's up with Monkey King… I'll tell you the interaction could be very interesting.

But mostly fun.

I have so many stories for them, so many ideas, I'm excited to start sharing them with you.

The Children

So let's talk about the kids, where do I start?

I'll do it top-down, so let's start with the first one:

1.       Dishi or as I like to call him “the first”: Is 13 years old. He is the most responsible, marking a great contrast with MK, he is reserved and almost the voice of reason among his brothers. He's closer than anyone to receiving the top student award, but he's a bad cook. And although he lives with a very loving family, he has a problem accepting physical affection. He doesn't know why.

He seems to be the most aware of how difficult it is for MK to support them all while he's working and fighting. So he always finds a way to help when he's not home, which MK appreciates.

As a child, he once had the idea that he could be the successor to MK, but that idea vanished when he discovered that he could not hold the staff.

2.       DingBang, self-nicknamed “DB”, or as I call him “the second”: Is 12 years old. He is a total gamer, almost an influencer if it weren't for the fact that they almost always have to confiscate his cell phone. He is a cunning boy who likes to play with the possibilities and see where they take him, even though they don't end well for the most part. He regularly messages Mei keeping her up to date on what's going on with the family, though more are sending each other memes.

Like the eldest, he can't lift the staff either, but he doesn't give a damn about this except when MK uses it to block the cabinet where he keeps his video games.

3.       Hao or “the third”: Is 10 years old. He is a sweet and cuddly child on the inside, but on the outside, he is portrayed as a creepy child. He often comes out of the shadows startling everyone, speaks when no one expects him to, and occasionally plays some weird games. Of all his brothers, he is the one who, somehow, ends up more exposed to danger and has been kidnapped by demons more than once.

He finds everything to do with magic and the supernatural interesting and has come to learn how to make runes and some spells from his unsuspecting babysitter (Red Son).

Apart from all that, he is a very calm boy, of few words, who loves his family very much, although sometimes they do not understand him.

4.       Mao or, you know, "the fourth": Is 8 years old. He is a very insecure and clingy boy. As a child, he was very pampered, and now that he has grown up he feels that sometimes he is not given enough attention. He clings to MK in every way he can think of, like a piece of gum, if he finds it, it sticks to him. This has caused him to develop a bad habit of "stealing".

At first, he only did it for attention, but over time it became almost natural to steal something from a room. Several times he had to be reprimanded by MK, but they rarely got anywhere. Not that he had a good example.

The relationship with his older brothers is slightly awkward, this is because he was more favored than them when he was little, so he always looks for a way to include himself in what any of them are doing. Although if he is honest, he prefers to spend his time with BaoBao, his younger sister, since he considers that being the minors they have to be united.

5.       BaoBao, the golden girl, or as I call her "the fifth": She is 5 years old. She is a ray of sunshine, a girl full of energy and childhood dreams. Her favorite animal is the gorilla, she likes bean cake and her best friend is her stuffed monkey whom she called “Dóu” (according to the translator that is “little bean” in Chinese). She will cry when someone breaks a promise with her and she will become infatuated with always being right. She is the one that needs supervision the most because she doesn't know much about the world and often gets lost.

Also being MK's last baby, when the mother abandoned them, she had to be closely cared for by him. So for a time, she was present in some of her fights against the demons while being carried in a baby sling.

She barely remembers any of it, but there are photos and videos to prove it.

And this is all I have on them, for now.

Someday I'll draw a suitable drawing for them, I promise.

Another headcanon for the MK Dad AU

When Sun Wukong comes back he stays with MK, he just moves into his little house without his permission, it's a funny situation because of Wukong's need to stay close without explaining why. MK is tired of having to deal with this teacher who abandoned him for 17 years. His version of Wukong now is that he gives up everything he cares about. Meanwhile, the children only meet the version of the Monkey King who sleeps on his couch and refuses to leave. =D

Maybe it was Wild - MK Dad AU

I bring a new headcanon for the MK Dad AU. Here comes a hypothetical scenario (ouo)…

I have thought that during a battle against a demon, MK goes to fight and Wukong too, because he is near the house and the children are inside taking cover.

And then MK makes an attack that Wukong does not recognize and is surprised.

"Hey! I didn't teach you that!"

"You've been gone for a long time... it was only to be expected that he had a few tricks up his sleeve now," MK responds without neglecting the fight.

"Huh? And what else are you hiding? Any girlfriends?” The Monkey King laughs. 

"What?!" Ding Bang, the second son, from the window. "Tell me it's a lie! I don't want any more brothers!"

"Go back inside!" shouts MK, embarrassed.

 In the AU, it is canon that MK's closest friends consider that he had too many children in a somewhat rushed time, the first and second only a year apart, while the last three have a difference of two years. So there's an inside joke that MK got a little wild during their courtship. 

He will be permanently embarrassed by that XP

It is an AU where Wukong interrupts the fate of another person and consequently ends up married to them. We'll see if this causes any misunderstandings along the way XP

This idea has been in my head even before the MK Dad AU, but I have "recently" been encouraged to present it, hehe...

Titles (Holy Fruit AU)

Wukong even forgot Guan Yu's name when they just started living together during their marriage... although more than forgetting, he was reluctant to recognize her name.

So he only called her "little wife" when he wanted to talk about this or that.

Eventually, he got used to it, turning their conversations into an endearing interaction between husband and wife.

An example of these conversations would be something like this:

"Little wife." Wukong called to the edge of his cloud.

She ignored him.

"Little wife!" Wukong twisted her back onto his cloud as his tail flicked absently over her head.

Guan Yu turned around and…

"Wife!"

"Great Sage!" she yelled in frustration, before meeting his eyes and responding through her teeth. "What do you want?"

"Rice."

"On the table."

Wukong smiled and took off into the sky on his cloud without giving thanks, leaving the poor woman shaking her head.
