When by the end of the dance all the blacks have left is one very traumatized boy king that lost everyone he loved in the span of two years and is terrified of his own house's symbol.
Don't get me wrong, I love Aegon III, he and Vizzy II are actually my favourite targ kings (which is quite ironic knowing how much I dislike their parents)
but seeing how all major targ team black members were massacred by the end of the war (Rhaenyra, Rhaenys, Daemon, the strong Boys, Nettles who just vanishes, and all their dragons dead) you have to be kinda delusional to look at all that devastation and go:
The whole point of this conflict is to showcase how destructive and useless these type of wars are, but apparently all the blacks care about is the fact that the kid who sat the iron throne at the end of it was Nyra's son.

Nettles matters! I don’t care about the whole love triangle bs, she matters as a little black girl who triumphs as the sole female dragonseed. She’s important because she’s living proof you don’t need Valyrian blood to claim a dragon. She’s the underdog, the one no one thought would survive but does despite everything.
Rhaena’s victory as the last dragon rider until Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons also matters! Morning is just as her name insinuates, she’s the light who brings hope in the aftermath of one of the darkest times in Targaryen and Westerosi history. You are robbing Rhaena of her triumph, of her success at finally hatching a dragon. She was underestimated, sent to the Vale because she couldn’t help in the war effort. But it’s SHE who brings the Vale army to Kingslanding with the last dragon!
Nettles is a peasant girl whose story is about overcoming hardships and poverty, Rhaena’s is about a royal princess who proves she has blood of the dragon.
These stories are not interchangeable just because both women are black!

daemon (mainly daemyra) stans that turn his and nettles relationship into familial, as in erasing the fact it was romantic and making into daemon being her father are just like aegon stans making aegon a loving husband to helaena and erasing hes a rapist both in show and book.
I love how they all want to convince us daemon is her father cause ‘he dotted on her like a daughter’ … while bathing with her and sleeping in the same bed
if grrm really wanted me to believe that nettles was daemon bastard, one he would have to mention that he bathed and slept in his daughter’s before and two not have rhaenyra jealous.
making her half targ also completely erases what makes nettles so special, she tamed a wild dragon just like the ancient valyrians. d/emyras just use it as a cope even ignoring the fact daemon has taken a mistress before while having a wife, whats stopping him form doing it again. daemon doesn’t treat nettles the same way he treats his actual daughters so i can’t believe the relationship is purely platonic.

Grey Ghost
Prefers fish to any other food
Given his shy nature, he can only be summoned by soft singing which he likes to hear
Hates loud noises, and this contributes to his avoidance of humans
He actually has white scales with grey coloring under his wings, despite his name
Along with scale color, he is lean and the edge of his wings are worn with holes in them contributing to his supernatural appearance
The Cannibal
Rarely has a consistent meal and can go months without eating, this further terrifies humans and dragons on Dragonstone because no one knows when he'll go hunting
The size of his teeth indicates his true age, the only people who know his real age were his victims
His flames are sometimes mistaken for wildfire
The Dragonpit on Dragonstone has been left alone from his attacks purely due to the fact that he prefers easy prey and larger dragons pose problems
He has a distinct roar that sounds docile but many believe he uses it to lure prey rather than it being his true roar
Sheepstealer
He holds the largest record of sheep thefts in Dragonstone, more so than that of any human criminal
Some clever shepherds have been known to carry slabs of lamb and distract him with it to lead the flock away
His rider, Nettles, is the only one he allows to touch him and further likes to lay his head on her lap (as best as he can without crushing her)
He rarely responds to his name due to his many years as a wild dragon
He has scars along his brown scales, however where he received them from is unclear
