“Y/n! Are you alright? That was a heavy fall.” Nezha rushed to your side as soon as he saw that your foot hit the ground in a weird way, causing your ankle to take all the weight at once. He also saw the panic in your eyes, but you quickly recovered.

“I’m fine, it only hurts for a second,” you reassured him, testing your weight on it. It didn’t hurt a lot as long as you didn’t press on it.

“Okay. Just let me know if you want us to stop the hike. I don’t want to make it worse by accident.”

“Don’t worry about me.”

“Well, as your partner, it’s kind of my job.”

The prince linked his elbow with yours, still assisting you for several more steps until you unhooked your own elbow to get a drink of water from your bag. He had started out his day together with you by saying that even though it was a little warm, a nice hike would be a great way to relax after a long week. You agreed, because he really did want to spend time with you. But with this new ankle injury that you could feel shooting up your leg, you would feel terrible if you had to cut it all short. 

He pointed out different plants to you, and to your credit, you paid attention and even urged him to explain a little more, just so you could take a moment and put all your weight on your good foot. 

At some point, he caught on to this pattern, and brought you to the side where a creek was to sit. He made you sit down first, watching how you labored in balancing yourself. He took his spot next to you, reaching into his own bag and pulling the ice pack out of the cooler that contained extra water. 

“Y/n, I know you want to keep going, but seeing you try to sit was frankly painful to watch.” He held out his hand, and with a sigh, you lifted your leg into his grip. At first, the shock of the cold on your ankle was bad, but once you got used to the feeling of it, it felt like heaven. 

“Thank you, Nezha…” 

“It’s no problem.”

The two of you sat and relished in the quiet around you. The creek made its own noise of water over small rocks, the birds were active, and a light breeze made the leaves of the trees shift from side to side. 

“Why didn’t you tell me it hurt?” Nezha asked after a while. He had kept a steady hold on the ice pack, but you could tell that he was half-meditating as well. 

“I didn’t want to ruin our time together.” You answered, avoiding his eyes. You could feel the disappointment and concern radiating off of him. 

“Getting hurt doesn’t ruin anything. I’m always happy to help you, alright?” The cold was suddenly gone as he took out the cooler, placing it back inside, before taking his crimson ribbon out and fashioning a wrap around the injury. “I worry about you. Even if you don’t want me to sometimes.”

He patted your leg, before standing up and packing things away again.

“Now, let’s go get you a proper wrap and head home. We can watch that romance movie you’ve been telling me about.” In one swoop, he picked you up and carried you on his back as you had the backpack.

Nezha

Oh sweet boy. Though Nezha could never truly understand what you’re going through, he does his best to help you. He’s normally uptight about your affections unless you two are alone, but he puts his pride aside for this. Lots of head pats and forehead kisses for you if you don’t mind them. The night he finds you singing so sadly after you went to see your friend at the hospital, he’s really torn. Should he interrupt you and comfort you? Should he wait? Either way, your voice on its own almost brings him to tears. He ends up waiting and then, very quietly, coming to sit by your side. He sits with you while you cry it out for as long as you need. To help distract you, he might even ask you to teach him to play your favorite video games. But if you want to work through your feelings head on he’s more than happy to help you.

SWK

Feels terrible. He’s seen all kinds of loss in his lifetime, but to see his normally chippy lover in so much pain breaks his heart. He still puts up his usual front of being happy and worry-free, but it’s all in an effort to try and help you smile again. He’s already super affectionate with you, but now even more so. He knows he can’t undo anything but by the gods he’s gonna help you through the grieving process. Loves your voice, but when he hears you singing not for joy but for tragedy, he struggles not to ugly cry. You finish your song and he takes his spot at your side, not saying a word. Wukong reaches out, and if you’ll allow him to, he holds you so tight because he knows it hurts like hell. He doesn’t really know how to truly process anything harsh like this, but he’s very good at distraction. Tell him about anything you want, show him your favorite games, let him take you shopping for those cute clothes you like. He’s with you for every step of the way.

Macaque

First of all, Know that this man would do ANYTHING for you once you two are in a stable relationship. He’s a little stiff about affection at first, but you’re so cute that he can't resist warming up to you. He hides in your shadow a lot, just to hang out, but this time it’s different. You’re sitting on the ground, singing your heart out, and he assumes the worst considering the last he knew you were visiting your friend in the hospital. After you’re done, and start crying a little, he pops out of your shadow to comfort you. He cuddles up to you, even lets you wear his scarf, and gives you tissues as you let it all out. Macaque doesn’t mind joining you on any path you want to take from this point. As long as you’re not hurting yourself, of course. If you want to really grieve, he’ll offer up his shoulder to cry on and his favorite meditations to help. If you’d prefer to just…avoid things, for a while, then he’s happy to take you anywhere you want to go. Just say the word and he’ll be there.

He cares more about your safety than anything else. Sure, that frozen lake looks fun, but he can tell from here that it won’t hold anyone. Best to just go to a rink!

He’s very in tune with himself and his emotions these days. Honestly one of the most stable boys from this series as a whole. And if you’re struggling obviously he’ll offer up whatever comfort or resources he can!

He’s a little stiff. It might take him a while to warm up to PDA or even affection in general, but honestly once he’s used to it he doesn’t mind anything. His favorite thing is definitely hand kisses though.

Great sense of style and fashion! Coordinate your outfits with him, he’ll gladly take pictures of you two, 10/10, also he thinks you look amazing when you wear his clothes

There’s nothing he loves doing with you more than cozying up with some warm tea on the couch and watching movies. It’s when he feels the most calm, the most safe, the most at peace. 

I don’t make the rules, if he moves into the city with the gang or something this man owns a motorcycle. He gets you your own helmet or goggles(whichever you prefer) and takes you on rides with him

Flowers on every special occasion. And they all have meanings, too(he’s that guy lmao)

Loves when you play with his hair and put it up in fun styles. It’s incredibly soothing for him, even when you put huge pigtails in his hair and take a picture before he can figure out what’s happening

He never forces you out of your comfort zone, he trusts you to know your limits and not hurt yourself trying to do something crazy. 

I think a flaw he has is that if you present him with an issue you’re having, his first thought is figuring out how to fix or eliminate it. You’ll most likely have to specify whether or not you want his input or if you want him to just listen.

SWK, Macaque, Nezha, and Redson x Assassin!Fem!reader Headcanons!

SWK - concerned more than anything else, in the beginning. He wants to ensure that she’s never in harm's way. What if she got hurt? What if he couldn’t protect her? But then she pops off and actually protects him, and not only is he amazed, he’s much more curious about her than before. Maybe encourages her to train with him to see her skills, and even give her new moves to work with! He is supportive of her, but he also has a healthy amount of fear for her!

Macaque - like Wukong, he wants her to stay out of trouble. However something was bound to happen eventually, and there she was pulling knives from her boots and throwing them with amazing aim at their target. His jaw is on the floor, he can’t believe how cool it is, he himself might not even join the fight just so he can see her finish it off. Afterwards he makes sure she’s okay before asking her “what the heck was that?!”. He vows to never underestimate her ever again.

Nezha - Nezha, being his dutiful prince self, will instinctively try to protect her sweet soul like it’s glass. He loves how sweet and genuinely nice she is, especially to him. However, he gets so worried when there’s that moment he can’t jump in front of her to take the brunt of an attack, but what’s this? She’s got her own weapon, and stopped the attack midair. He’s incredibly shocked, however he’s also SO PROUD OF U BB GO KICK THEIR BUTTS! She manages to finish off the fight on her own, and then when she’s done he goes up to her and is all like “omg you did so good are you hurt at all?? Let’s go get some food :)”

Redson - doesn’t mind having to take the lead for her! The least he can do for someone so sweet and special to him is to do the fighting and violence stuff. He was going to launch his flames at the demon that dared to try and mess with her, but when he looked, there she was beating them into next week. He could not be more proud!! Won’t make a big deal if she doesn’t want him to, but definitely celebrates her victory!! Power couple!!

“Ah, y/n! I wasn’t expecting you today,” as you walked into Nezha’s house, you saw him making an effort to draw…something…on a scroll. “How are you?”

“I’m alright. What are you doing?” You pointed at the scroll, and he looked at it in disdain as he folded his arms across his chest. 

“I wanted to try doing a more modern version of this old map, but I’m halfway done and I’m realizing it’s a waste of time. But I already started, so I want to finish it.”

“That’s a cool idea, but no one’s pressuring you to finish it.” You set your bag on his couch, not letting him see what was inside. You’d been trying to get this to happen for ages, and now might just be your chance. 

“I appreciate that, lotus. But if you want you can just hang out while I try to get to a good stopping point.” He gave you a sweet smile, but you could see the bags under his eyes. You both knew that a good stopping point in his opinion was to just finish. 

“Or you could stop now and let me surprise you with something?” You offered, resting your chin on his head as he turned back to his map. You brought your hands to his shoulders, giving them a light squeeze. 

“What’s the surprise?”

“I have to go set it up in your bathroom, first.”

“Oh, you’re not throwing ten different bath bombs in there again, are you? It took me forever to get the stains out of my tub!” He immediately grew suspicious of you, reaching for the bag. You moved faster than him and snatched it. 

“No bath bombs, I promise! I’ll come get you in a few minutes, alright?” You winked, walking outside of his reach just in case he wanted to grab at you again. He didn’t, but he made a motion for you to hang on. You leaned down to his level, holding the goodies behind you. To your pleasant surprise, he gave you a quick kiss on the cheek, but then he gave you a playfully serious look. 

“Don’t do anything stupid.” He said.

“No promises!” You continued your walk and closed the bathroom door behind you. It wasn’t a small room, it would definitely be fine for what you were planning. As quietly as you could, you took some tea lights out of the bag, setting them up around the rim of the tub and on the counter by the sink. There were some face masks for him to choose from, most of them being out-of-the-bottle rather than the slimy sheet ones. You even got a fun patterned headband for him to hold his hair out of his face. Nail polish, in case he was willing to go all out, and some stones you were going to heat up. Finally, you ran a bath, throwing some bubbles in, but not the bomb you picked out—at least, not yet. 

“Nezha? Can you come back here for a second, hon?” You poked your head out of the door with a grin. You heard movement and then moved out of the room and stood in front of the door to meet him. He came to a stop in front of you, wiping his hands on his pants.

“Okay, what did you break?”

“I didn’t break anything, honest! I just wanted to do something nice for you, since I know you’ve been putting a lot of effort into your work lately. So here,” you handed him one of those soft white robes you really only see at hotels. He narrowed his eyes. “Go get changed into this.”

“Why?”

“You’ll see!”

He was still suspicious of you, but he went into his room and then, a few minutes later, you had to do your best not to stare at him as he walked towards you. His figure was hard not to look at. 

“Okay, what’s going on?” 

“Behold! A spa, just for you!”you opened the door with a flourish. He raised his eyebrows at you, then his face turned a bit red.

“Y/n…you know I have stuff to do.” He went in anyways after you took his hand and dragged him in. 

“You always have stuff to do! You’re tired. You need a break.” You ranted at him, gesturing to the bath.

“I guess a little break wouldn’t hurt…” he sighed, rolling his eyes as you turned around to let him get in without being embarrassed.

“That’s the spirit!”

He slipped into the water and moved his hair over the edge of the tub so it wouldn’t get wet. You went to the other side of the tub so you could reach it and gently put it into a braid. You could tell he wasn’t fully relaxed or fond of this, but you intended for that to change at some point.

“Can I do your nails?” You asked. He chuckled.

“Why not.” 

As he held out his hands you got to work in painting them a nice pinkish color. Once you had finished with the top clear coat, you did the other hand and then helped him to put a face mask on. His face was softer now, you noticed, and his shoulders had stopped being stuck in one spot as he gradually gave in to the feeling of not being so stressed. By the end of it, when he got out of the bath and into the robe again, he seemed hesitant to leave.

“You okay?”

“Yes. I’m just really thankful to you for doing this for me.” He hugged you, pressing a kiss to your temple. You kissed him back, smiling at him.

“We’ll have to do this more often, then! You deserve it, you know?” 

“I suppose.”

“No, you were too slow. Try again.”

You panted as you put your hands on your knees, looking at the weapon you’d dropped on the ground when he disarmed you. You were putting all your energy into this, and even though he wasn’t even using his powers, he was still much stronger than you. You’d been training under Nezha for weeks now. Shouldn’t you be more ahead?

Nonetheless, you picked up your spear, going back to the edge of the circle you two trained in. You got into the starting position just as he did.

“Ready?”

“Ready.”

He rushed at you, letting himself go into the loose defense so you could try to implement the move he was teaching you that day. A sweep of the legs that, if done correctly, would end with the handle of your spear across his shoulders to pin him down. But against the type of plans he had for you to go by, you had spent a few hours last night trying to exercise a little more than you were meant to. And by the gods, you were exhausted. And now you were pinned, too, and you didn’t even remember what happened while you were thinking.

“Okay, we’re done.” He frowned at you, taking your weapon. You didn’t even try to stop him. But this wasn’t how lessons usually ended—he would normally help you up and have you explain what led to the outcome of the fight.

“What? Did I do badly?” You scrambled to get up and follow him to the small building near his home that served as a home gym. He didn’t slow down his pace, his hands were balled into fists.

“It didn’t even feel like you were trying, y/n. Do you have something going on that’s making it harder for you to fight?” His disappointment hurt more than your muscles at the moment. You hung your head.

“I’m sorry. I’m really trying, I swear.” You explained, holding your hands in your pockets. He turned to face you in the doorway of the gym. His arms were folded across his chest as if he were upset, but his eyes were concerned and searching your face for something. You looked at him. He wouldn’t stop teaching you, would he? You’d worked so hard, you couldn’t just stop now!

“You’re not giving me 100 because you haven’t got 100 to give,” He sighed, dropping any anger he might have been holding. “Y/n, have you been doing more work than I’ve told you to do?”

“I mean, I’ve been doing some more night exercises, but no more than a few hours—“

“Hours? Y/n, I set guidelines for you because it’s meant to be completely adapted to your schedule and difficulty level. Doing more than that for the sake of getting ahead isn’t helping, it’s hurting.”

Nezha led you to the center of the yard, where he had you sit with him on the grass. He was across from you and could tell you were trying to directly mirror his pose. Always needing to do it like him.

“I don’t understand. Isn’t it good if I just want to be better?” You asked quietly. He took a few breaths, with you in tow.

“Getting better takes time and proper pacing. Jumping ahead because you think you can handle it isn’t always bad, but in your case, it’s burning you out. We’re putting a hold on your fighting, right now we just need to readjust your pace.” He explained to you. You listened to every word, internally cursing yourself for thinking you’d be able to just sneak this past him. Your intentions were good, it was just…too much.

“You’re a good kid, y/n. Just slow down and wait for me, alright?” Nezha ruffled your hair.

“So you’ll still teach me?”

“Of course I will. You’re my favorite student.”

“I thought I was your only student!”

“You are, you are!”

You two laughed and then settled into a quiet bit of meditation.

like reader is loving towards everyone and also chaotic plus they sometimes do crazy stuff like for example if there at a zoo and they see a animal they like for example a tiger they will stop what there doing and they will literally climb the bar wall and be with the tiger and start doing tiger noises as the tiger and the tiger replies back and start being affectionately towards reader as then macaque, monkey king, Nezha, spider queen and Chang’E noticed there gone and sees reader where they are with the wild animal and they will start panicking and will get them out of there and start scolding them as reader then start tearing up they will stop scolding them and try to comfort them and telling him that they where worried and the rest you can do what you want I don’t mind if you change it

Macaque - between the two of you he definitely has the brain cell. He was excited to go to the zoo with you, especially after seeing how pumped up you were to see the tigers. He got the tickets and you two made your way over. Now, he’s got many ways of keeping track of you—being in your shadow, clones, or even just holding your hands—but he chose to use none of those. So when he turned around to look at you after checking out a different animal and you were GONE, panic mode set in. It’s too crowded for him to use his six ears, so he resorts to just running around until he sees you with the tigers. As fast as he can he gets you out of there and takes you to the side. He’s scolding you, telling you that you can’t just do that, but when he sees you starting to tear up he feels bad and reassures you that he’s not upset or anything. He’s just happy you’re safe, now please go wash your hands he SAW you smushing the tiger’s face after it ate—

SWK - this man is the same way with the monkeys. When you two went to the zoo, he stopped and made noises at the monkeys(and you got bored of their conversation so obviously you just wandered off…). He freaks out a bit when you disappeared, but thankfully you weren’t super far away. Not gonna lie, he’d probably let you have your fun with the tigers for a bit—but then it’s go time and he gets you out of there. He doesn’t “scold” you, but he does gently explain that you should at least give him a heads up next time so he can at least help you jump the fence! He’s laid back and honestly I HC him as neurodivergent so he’d vibe really well with you. 

Nezha - SIR PLEASE YOU WILL GIVE THIS MAN A HEART ATTACK (/lh)! Likes going out with you when you’re feeling up for it because he’s got a lot of cool knowledge stowed away in his brain that he can share. However he doesn’t like it as much when he has to use his magic ribbon first as a lasso to get you out of the enclosure but then as a leash to keep you close for the rest of the zoo visit. He half-drags you along to the bathrooms to help you clean yourself up, all while telling you the various ways that could have ended badly. But his demeanor changes when he sees the oncoming storm of emotions in your face. He would hate to upset you. So he stops, sits down with you, and reassures you that it’s okay, but you can’t do that. He values safety over ANYTHING else, so don’t blame him too hard for wanting you to stick by his side. 

Spider Queen - You’re treated like royalty by default because you’re her lovely significant other. Naturally a zoo trip is something she’d love to do with you! Her boys will most likely tag along as well, but they’re gonna go do their own thing while you two enjoy some time together! She cares about you a great deal, and is asking every few exhibits if you’re having a good time, do you need anything, it’s not too warm right? She thought she had your hand in hers, but when you simply aren’t there, she panics a bit, and calls the boys to tell them to help look for you. When all of them report that yup, you’re chilling with the tigers—no, like IN THE CAGE WITH THE TIGERS—she is there in a FLASH. You’re out of the cage and in her arms in seconds. She’s searching first for wounds and then giving you a mini-lecture. But she stops as soon as she sees your eyes glaze over. She gives you a little space and then has you take some breaths with her. No, she’s not mad, if anything she’s impressed. Just glad you’re okay!

Chang’e - (she was in like 1 episode so take everything here with a grain of salt) super sweet and it shows!! A trip to the zoo with you is the perfect fun date so she can take a break from her show for a while. Loves how much you like the animals, and she gives some of her own input as well! Out of the characters so far she’s the most likely to remain calm when she sees you with the tigers. Helps you out on your own time—clearly it wasn’t an accident you got in there, and you’re not in any immediate danger, so what’s the rush? Once you’re out, she has you clean up and just reminds you that you should try and admire from a distance sometimes. Then you two go sit down and eat some lunch that she prepared for you guys in advance <3

CW: the boys are fighting a lil, mini anxiety attack but it's fine

You and your partners were an unlikely combination. A fire demon, a monkey kid, a half-spider, an immortal prince, and a zombie of a mayor…At least you couldn’t say that things weren’t interesting! Some of them, such as Mayor and Syntax or Redson and MK, were couples of their own who were glad to share with you. Nezha was along for the ride.

You did your best to have open and honest communication with all of them, especially if they all wanted to do different things. Such was the situation as of now.

Redson and MK invited you to come see a movie with them, and you agreed. However you had forgotten that you were going to have some lunch with Nezha. And of course, the Mayor wanted to make dinner for everyone tonight. It was all overlapping in the worst way possible, and tensions were mounting among the others as well.

You now sat on the couch in the Mayor's house, which was big enough that you all called it your central hub. The others were all in their own seats, with Redson on one side of you and Syntax on the other. Nezha and MK were on one of the loveseats, and the Mayor was standing near the coffee table. Their voices were all conflicting with one another. Your leg bounced rapidly as you felt your breaths become fast-paced and hard to keep up with.

“Guys…” you really didn’t want to deal with this right now. You had been excited to spend time with everyone. But now it was just a mess. Your quiet plea wasn’t heard.

“Our plans have been in place since last week. Y/n and I are going to lunch.” Nezha snapped. You started picking at the skin around your nails.

“The movie’s only an hour long. Just pick them up after it’s done.” Redson pointed out. His tail was swishing back and forth and it was adding to this sensory overload of yours as it kept tapping on your thigh.

“Y/n, are you okay?” MK held his hands in a “t” shape to signal for everyone to stop. Now all eyes fell on you and it felt impossible to move or breathe.

“I…” you could barely get words out. Why was this so hard? Syntax scooted away a little bit in order to give you some room to work with and Redson was quick to copy this motion. Nezha got up from his seat and went to the kitchen as the Mayor gave you a worried smile.

“Hey, take some deep breaths with me, alright? In,” MK instructed, motioning for you to copy him. You did. “And out. Good job! Let’s do it again!”

You followed his breathing. In for 4 seconds, holding for 7, and exhaling for 8. You could feel your nervous system realigning itself. Nezha came back with a glass of water and the ice cube tray. Before giving you the water, he handed you the tray.

“Here, hold this.”

“Huh? Why?” You still took the tray, even though you weren’t enjoying the cold feeling right on your fingers. But you got caught up in that and were successfully distracted from what was happening.

“Misdirection.”

“Forget about all that for a bit,” Syntax spoke up, in relation to all the plans. “What’s making you stressed and how can we fix it?”

You took your time to explain everything, pausing every now and then to drink water or do some more 4-7-8 breaths to regulate again. But you told them that you couldn’t think in all this noise, that you wanted to spend time with all of them but that it was difficult for you if everything was piling up all at once. They didn’t interrupt you once.

“Oh, y/n, we’re so sorry we made you so anxious.” The mayor gave you a hug as the others apologized as well.

“Let’s lay out a proper plan, alright? Space everything out evenly.” Redson looked to everyone, including you, looking for nods of agreement.

“Okay. I think since the Mayor is doing dinner tonight y/n and I can do lunch tomorrow. Does that work?” Nezha offered up. You gave a thumbs up.

“Then can we do the movie today so there’ll be a gap in between then and when we get back?” MK asked.

“Yes, and then you can work off all the snacks you’re gonna inhale.” Syntax joked.

“Perfect. Y/n, we still have a little time before we should get going. How about you clean up and then we’ll head out?” Redson put a hand on your shoulder.

“Yeah, that works. Thanks, guys. I’m sorry.” You put your now empty glass on the coffee table.

“There’s no need to be sorry, dear. We should have made sure everything worked before trying to pull you in a million directions.” The Mayor patted your head.

Each one of your lovers gave you a peck or a hug as an apology, and then they all started moving in their different directions to carry out plans. MK and Redson had you help them decide which seats in the movie theater to sit in. Nezha headed back to his own house to do whatever he wanted until it was time for dinner, and Syntax went with the Mayor to get the ingredients for the meal.

Redson - so confused at first. He’s formal, prepared to justify everything about themselves to s/o’s parents. Probably was expecting them to be like his parents, but then they treat her not only nicely but also like a person and not some nasty creature?? What??? They may think they’re being tricked, but no, the s/o’s parents gush about their kid and then compliment Redson about his skills and how they’ve heard so much about them!! Dinner goes super well, and they send Redson home with the leftovers because “she needs some more meat on those bones!!” You talk to Redson after you two leave and ask them what he thought; Red bursts out crying /pos

Nezha - He goes in thinking he’ll have to explain everything about his past, surely s/o’s parents have heard about the terrifying Nezha? But to his delight they don't care about all that. They want their kid to be happy, and oh my what a strong young man you are! We’ve heard all about how sweet and protective you are!! He’s absolutely flabbergasted. He probably brought along some kind of food to offer them, and they literally love him so much! S/o has to reassure him he doesn’t have to be so stiff. The parents appreciate him for keeping their child safe and give him their blessing to keep dating and maybe even marry s/o if the two do end up wanting to marry(cue embarrassment from both Nezha and s/o)

SWK - listen. This man has worked so hard for his reputation as a good guy. But he’s got some stuff in his past he’s not proud of nor does he care for. So he’s going in fully prepared to be insulted, berated, overall just not treated right. But……the parents don't mention anything about his past. They don’t ask, they don’t press him about it. They compliment him, how nice he is, how he dresses well. They don’t nag him when he stims after s/o said something funny. They have something with peaches in it for dessert that he practically cries over. He’s so perplexed over the whole situation but honestly it’s in the best way possible. Very excited to see s/o’s parents again.

Macaque - there’s no way s/o’s parents would like him. C’mon, he’s a demon, he’s hurt people, he’s got this big scar over his eye…but they love him. They like his stories, how cool and calm he is, and the jokes he makes. He’s never felt so accepted before except for when he’s with s/o. Definitely thinks it’s a prank or a cruel joke, but it’s not, and he DEFINITELY cries about it. He would love to see them again. Thinks about how kind they were to him every day because it makes him happy that not only does he have s/o in his life, he’s also got their parents to support him as well. 10/10.

Redson, Nezha, SWK, and Macaque Meeting S/O's Brothers headcanons! (Romantic)

Redson - fully prepared to fight. Since he’s an only child she has no clue how siblings are supposed to act. And obviously, they’re a demon, so their appearance is slightly jarring. But after a little while of conversation and the s/o gently nudging both parties to actually talk to each other, the brothers accept Redson. They actually probably find her to be cool with all his demon powers and now Redson gets to hear embarrassing stories about the s/o. It’s a win-win…..I think.

Nezha - he’s basically brothers with Wukong, so he knows the vibes. He acts stoic at first because he can tell that they’re sizing him up. But s/o makes a dumb joke and they all bust out laughing and from there things go very smoothly. By the end it’s like they’ve known each other for ages. He just fits in super well with them! And now s/o has a full on protection squad :)

SWK - very nervous, but also has faith in his abilities to read people and try to keep the peace. He understands why the brothers are apprehensive of him…he is a literal monkey, after all. That stage fright of his kicks in fast when he meets the brothers, however it’s a lot better as long as s/o is there. He really does his best to impress them and make them feel like he’s a good person and thankfully it goes over well. He shows them his tricks, they think it’s cool as heck. But afterwards he’s overthinking the whole thing so his s/o will have to calm him down lol

Macaque - not super nervous or anything, kinda just goes with it. He stays close to his s/o the whole time for comfort but he’s doing very well! The brothers think it’s a little weird that he’s a monkey, but they accept him fairly fast since he’s casual and not stiff. He tells them stories with shadows, shows them some of his powers. Like with Nezha, s/o ends up having a protection squad >:)

Allows the kid to gently play with his ears and tail. He wants them to lead, to size him up, bc he’s afraid of being too rough with them

When the child starts being more open with him he starts being more open too. He acts more like a dad during this time

Loves the little family dynamic he has with you now. He looks forward to seeing your kid, he looks forward to bonding with you both

Stims SO hard when the child refers to him as their dad. Like yes!! That’s him!!!!!

Macaque

He can tolerate kids. But he hasn’t had to worry about being around them a whole lot ever since leaving FFM. That being said, he is terrified of messing up

He treats them like they’re made of glass. You’ll have to encourage him a lot—he reminds himself that this isn’t just some stranger, it’s your child.

The one thing he masters very quickly is bedtime. He loves telling stories and playing with the shadows to help lull the child to sleep :)

Really good at helping you and the child with a daily routine. He’s 100% there to pick them up from school, he goes to the parent-teacher conferences with you, heck, he’s not half-bad at homework.

Once the two are closer, he offers up the idea of training them to do karate or some kind of martial arts. It’s a great bonding experience.

So patient with them. If the child ever shows signs of needing space or time to figure something out, he steps back. He makes it clear he is willing to help and then lets things play out.

Really good at pretend play. The best French waiter impression in the pretend restaurant :)

When he is referred to as “dad” he realizes he’s in for the long haul and is SO okay with it.

Nezha

Man’s is going into this knowing very little about modern kids. But like everything else he’s done, he’s gonna put all the effort he can into it.

Probably really formal about it? The kid is so confused and actually laughs at him a little

You have to give him tips here and there. Like, no, they don’t know complex arithmetic yet, don’t bond with them over a conversation about it?

He likes being active with them. Trips to the park, simple backyard games like tag or hide and seek—it’s honestly super nice and relaxing for him and he likes seeing them energetic and ready to chase him

He’s really intelligent about many subjects, so he’s probably the best out of all of them for homework or studying.

He picks them up from school using his fire wheels and the kid LOVES it

He reads those parenting books if he feels the need to or if he needs serious guidance, but more often than not he comes to you for advice

Acts like it’s no big deal that he gets called “dad” but on the inside he’s jumping for joy

9/10 the kid has to educate him on what My Little Pony is because he has no idea about modern media

Redson

So so so afraid of messing up. His childhood was rough in every sense of the word; with his powers having to be toned down by a whole lot and then his own father being sealed beneath a mountain with his mother left to raise him alone. He wants your kid to have a good childhood.

He’s very practical. He doesn’t imagine a whole lot and this leads to a lot of dead-end conversations with your kid.

Eventually he says “screw it” and not only reads a ton of parenting books but also decides to go along with any tangent or question the child presents him with

It’s entertaining to watch them try to figure each other out

More than anything Redson likes to try and cook meals for you all. He’s got fun-shaped pancakes down to a T.

Definitely hypes the kid up at school. Drops them off and picks them up in his coolest vehicles, puts their best grades and projects on the fridge

He likes having the kid meditate with him every once in a while, just to show them how to just be.

Like Nezha, acts very casually at being called dad. But he will cry as soon as the child is out of earshot

9/10 he “accidentally” teaches the child to refer to their classmates as peasants.

Mayor

He’s a busy man by default. But he’s learning to balance everything as he spends more time with you and eventually is introduced to your child

Before anything, he reads the books and consults anyone on his staff with kids. He talks to you as well. How should he talk to them? What do they like? Is there a certain food they enjoy?

Cool, calm, collected. Waits very patiently for the child to assess him and answers any questions they have.

He involves himself in their school stuff. Very attentive to the quality of teachers, how the child is doing in their classes. Second most useful in helping them with work(first being Nezha).

Takes the kid with him to work every once in a while to show them around. The most dad-like out of all of them. In appearance, in attitude, and of course in jokes.

After a particularly dumb pun, the child laughs and says “dad that’s so bad!” And this man FREEZES

Cries about it to you, is so happy to be accepted by your child and have you both in his life

10/10 he owns a #1 Dad mug now :)

Syntax

Listen I love a scientist spider as much as the next guy but I cannot see him liking kids. It’ll take a lot of effort on your part to get both him and your child to hang out with each other

He’s hesitant, he isn’t sure what kids even like, so he makes a peace offering of sorts. He shows them his software where he can code games and what not

It’s interesting to the kid so they end up talking with him about video games and science for a while

Slowly but surely they get along really well! Syntax really does try his best because it’s for you, and in the end he can’t honestly say he doesn’t love your child too

Very engaging when it comes to schoolwork, he finds it easy to explain things in a simpler or more entertaining way than the dumb directions do!

Before long he’s actually offering to take care of the kid while you’re busy or pick them up from school. It’s the highlight of his day when they hop in his car and show him the high score they got on a science project because he helped them!

(Takes them for ice cream after because OBVIOUSLY this is a very momentous occasion)

Shocked when they call him dad. He never thought he’d be deserving of that title, or even of that position, but he’s been doing it all along and he’s proud to call them his child as well as yours.

MK - oh my gosh this boy thinks you are adorable. In the relationship he likes that you have the same kinda energy levels that he has! You two probably go on a lot of fun dates rather than serious ones(hitting the dance floor at the arcade as opposed to a fancy dinner). Also, he’s super affectionate with you in general, but it’s completely up to you if you let him pet your bunny ears or let him lean on your chest. He loves giving you bunny kisses(if you don’t know, it’s when you nuzzle noses with someone it’s so cute). 

Redson - probably very protective of you! After all, if you look this adorable, some other demon is sure to try and come after you…Red won’t let them get the chance :) anyways. You two are an interesting couple; a fiery Bull demon with anger issues and a very lovable and outgoing bunny demon…and yet somehow you cancel each other out enough that this relationship works out very well! You’re kind of like Redson’s “emotional support y/n”! And in turn you basically have immunity from any other demon attacks.  Red pretends to be very casual at first but at the end of the day he can’t resist those eyes that you give him when you want him to come cuddle with you. He’s a space heater, take advantage of it during the colder months! Also, he definitely uses your chest as a pillow. It’s the perfect way to convince him to get actual rest :)

Nezha - so so stoic but TRUST ME, he is internally screaming. How are you so cute and also want to be in a relationship with him of all people?? It’ll take a while, but he relaxes a bit and gets used to being allowed to be sweet and soft and romantic with you. When he’s stressed out he will definitely seek you out so he can chill, especially by just getting down to your level(assuming you’re shorter than him) and hugging you. His absolute favorite thing is wrapping you up in a blanket and carrying you around the house while he just does stuff because then he can have a kiss kiss whenever :3

Macaque - okay so prepare for some teasing from this man in the relationship. He’ll poke some fun at you and call you names associated with bunnies(lovebun is his favorite nickname to call you), but if it honestly bothers you he’ll ease up. Like Nezha, it may take him a minute to allow himself to let his guard down and actually let himself be loved as much as he’s loving you. He’s also pretty protective. He loves snuggling up with you at the end of a very long day more than anything else. It makes him feel safe.

 Wukong - remember the cooking with Chang’e episode? This is exactly like that except you’re not a robot trying to destroy him. Wukong cannot stop himself from squealing almost every time he sees you. He’s very into physical affection, so don’t be surprised if whatever activity you’re up to gets slightly interrupted by loud monkey purring as he nuzzles you. Similar to Macaque, he’ll poke fun at you, but it’s all very lighthearted and never meant as an insult. If you allow him to, he may shrink you down a bit so he can bring you with him wherever. He also cuddles with you and puts his head on your chest a lot.

Like reader is very clinglt / emotionally attached to Nezha and won't leave him alone. He rinds this annoying at first but as time goes on he starts to grow on Readers habits.

A stern voice alerted y/n to their surroundings. They had no idea how they got into this beautiful garden, but they were sure having fun running around the area. Their current resting spot was at the edge of a small koi pond, where the large orange fish were poking their noses out of the water to inspect the child for food.

A tall, strangely dressed man was approaching them. He had a spear in his hands, but y/n was not intimidated by him. If anything, they were happy to see a potential playmate!

As he got close enough, y/n waved at him with a smile.

“You shouldn’t be here. If you’re mortal, how did you even get in here?” Nezha crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at them.

“Dunno,” y/n shrugged. He held out his hand.

“Come with me. I’ll get you home.”

“But I’m having fun!”

“Yes, but I don’t remember inviting anyone into my garden today.”

The two stared at each other until finally Nezha blinked. Then y/n hopped up into a victory stance.

“Ha! You blinked!”

“Wait-What?! I didn’t know it was a contest!” He protested, then he remembered he had a mission. “Forget that. Come with me or else I’ll drag you out by force!”

“You’ll have to catch me first!”

And like a rocket, y/n was off sprinting into the hedge maze. The lotus prince stammered as within seconds he had lost sight of the child. Then he got on his fire wheels and took after them.

It was a solid half hour of searching and even more time spent at dead ends. He was almost out of breath. For a seemingly regular mortal, this child was fast. It almost reminded him of himself...annoying.

There was a snapping of branches and a yelp as there was a thud on the stone ground.

Then, soft sniffles that became sobs, sobs that faded to sniffles again.

Nezha did his best to follow the sounds to the source. And when he did, he forgot all about trying to get the child home. They were sitting on the ground, holding one of their knees with a white knuckle grip. Nezha softened his gaze, concluding that they’d tripped and fallen whilst trying to evade him. When they saw him, they immediately reached for him. Out of instinct he picked them up and walked out of the maze, over to the pond again.

“Are you gonna kick me out?” Y/n mumbled. He smiled as he conjured up some bandaids for the small scrape on the child’s knee.

“You beat me, didn’t you? You can stick around for a little while.”

They got used to each other’s presence as the day passed along. Nezha found himself to be in a more easygoing state as y/n semi-cuddled up to him, talking with him about whatever happened to pass along in their minds.

By the time the sun was setting, they were relaxing under the shade of one of the trees in the garden, with y/n gently nestled into Nezha’s side.

Redson - finds you adorable but will not admit it to your face. The first time you transform in front of them he freaks out a bit but then you turn back and she’s like ah. Once you properly explain how it works I think they’d rile you up on purpose because he has a lot of fun watching you get all excited and then boom! It’s a dog!! In a situation where you transform because you’re mad and Red is hurt bc of another demon, they hold a lot more respect for your other form because oh my gosh…that’s intimidating in a really cool way

Mei - AHHHH she’s obsessed!!! May or may not throw her sword while you’re in your wolf form so you’ll play fetch. Alternatively, taking power naps with each other while she’s in her dragon form and you’re in your wolf form>>>> anyways she no longer has to ask her parents about getting a puppy bc she’s got one <3 of course she loves you outside of your wolf form as well!

MK - loves seeing you transform and probably uses his powers to transform too so you guys can just have fun together! You make a great team this way :) and if you transform for a negative reason(like a lot of anger) he steers clear so he can let you just get it out. He loves you either way! If you don’t mind it, he might buy you a chew toy or two so you have something to do in your other form!

Nezha - very confused at first, but it’s not the strangest thing he’s ever seen, so he rolls with it. Not gonna lie I think once he gets used to it he’d definitely let you play fetch with his spear or use his fire wheels to chase you around. It’s just a really fun way for him to unwind with you and blow off some steam. You two make a good fighting team as well, and RIP to whatever demon decides to mess with Nezha and his partner—once the wolf shows up with an angry teenager it’s all over

Like reader has PTSD because a person close to her used her body to do bad things and other stuff….. but when months past sins that happened she stills has nightmares from what happened to her and when she’s closed to a man that she doesn’t know she starts getting a panic attack but if she forgets to take her pills that help her she starts hearing voices to do bad things to herself or hurt herself

HEY. WARNING. HEAVY STUFF AHEAD. IF YOU'RE NOT IN AN OKAY STATE OF MIND I SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS FOR NOW. THE CONTENT IS COMFORTING BUT THE SUBJECT IS HEAVY. GO WATCH SOME CAT VIDEOS. THANK YOU FOR BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF.

Macaque would swear vengeance when he finds out. Out of the group he would be the first resort to violence to cancel out what happened. If you tell him not to, convince him to stay and help you, he will. He'll drop everything to try and make you feel safe again. He keeps you close to him, making sure that above all else that whatever environment you're in that you are not in danger. If you have a panic attack I think he'd also panic a little bit but then he'd refocus and help to ground you, then help you get away from whatever triggered you. He has a very sharp memory so he reminds you to take your meds if you don't remember. But the downside is he'll feel super shitty if you hurt yourself. So he walks you through some guided meditation and breathing techniques.

Wukong focuses on you the moment he finds out. What are your needs right now? Have you taken your meds? Did you do some sort of self care today? He's super observant, he knew something was off with you, but he didn't want to pry. If you have a panic attack he will very quickly remove you from the situation so you're able to calm down. He gets you some water, your meds(if you forgot them) and tries to get your mind off of things. When it comes to what you do if you're off your meds, he's the king of distractions. He would never shame you for hurting yourself, but he would definitely try to steer you away from it and towards something healthier(i.e. squeezing an ice cube or scribbling on paper).

Nezha is very cautious with you. He is fully prepared to be violent if you want him to be however his top priority is you. He helps you find some kind of routine that ensures that you're getting what you need to function--water, meals, and some physical activity. If you have a panic attack, he's actually really good at helping to ground you. He lets you squeeze his hand or braid his hair. He helps you to get comfortable and provides some kind of activity for you to do instead. He still always offers to "get rid of the problem", though.

Sandy knows where you're coming from and he's determined to help. He starts out by getting some tea ready, and while that brews he talks to you. He walks you through your feelings and the basics of what happened. You relax a bit as he helps calm you down. If you allow him to he'll encourage you to spend some time with the therapy cats(especially Mo) and he'll even prepare the couch for you to sleep on if you want to spend the night. He is probably the best out of the group when it comes to reminding you to take care of yourself and take your medicine. If you happen to spiral or fall into a dark place he gently coaxes you into doing something else and relaxing again. He knows how to handle panic attacks like a champ and always tells you he's proud of you and how strong you are, even if you don't see it.

Hello! I was wondering when you have time, can I request wukong,macaque,nezha and Mk with an Angst to fluff with their s/o who got possessed in the fight with Lbd but then un-possessed s/o leaving them injured bc the attacks didn’t do as much damage as she thought?

I think I understand what's being asked but if I got it completely wrong please correct me! Also this is going to be Headcanons because it makes more sense for my brain ;-;

Wukong, Macaque, Nezha, and MK x S/O who was previously possessed by LBD (Angst to Fluff Romantic HC's)

Wukong - a wreck. Absolutely furious at himself for letting this happen to you, how could he be so stupid and let you be possessed by his enemy? Even worse, she had abandoned using you as her host and you were hurt! Probably trying ridiculously hard to keep up a positive front but he is breaking down on the inside. After it's all over he takes you back to Flower Fruit and gives you the best healing magic he can find. Lots of attention, and you'll have to reassure him you're okay and that it's not his fault because he 10000% thinks it is. He loves you very deeply, so the thought of losing you is just super overwhelming for him. He stays as close as you'll allow him to be while you recover, and is at your beck and call. This is a perfect time for you to either exploit this and get whatever you want OR coax him into doing self care with you. Or both :)

Macaque - beyond pissed. If anyone should've gotten hurt, it should've been him! You shouldn't have been anywhere close to this situation, and there you were being used as her host! As soon as he sees your discarded body he gets you someplace safe until the fight is over, and then he takes you home to help you recover. He might pretend to be a bit mad at you for having been involved but just know he doesn't really mean it, what he means is that he is utterly relieved you're okay. Once he has you set up with whatever medical supplies are needed, a drink, and a warm meal, he cuddles up to you and keeps watch while you get better. Apologizes over and over.

MK - this poor boy DOES break down. If he had done better, if he had been stronger, he could've stopped the Lady Bone Demon before she was able to possess you! He's crying a bit as he's fighting because he knows that you're probably in so much pain, just like he was whenever she was speaking to him. The fight ends, and he's absolutely RUSHING to get you home so you can get medical attention. He doesn't leave your side, he feels like if he does then something bad will happen to you. Similar to Wukong, he will find a way to get you anything you want, because you deserve the best, especially from him. Very clingy afterwards, but if you ask him to he will back off a bit so you can breathe.

Nezha - so so so concerned. How could he have been so blind? In dealing with Wukong and getting his ass handed to him he left you vulnerable! He feels incredibly guilty like he's let you down and multiple times throughout recovery he asks if you honestly want to keep being with him. He gets you to Heaven's best doctors, and urges you not to lift a finger until you're completely healed. He's super protective and may overreact to small things, just make grabby hands at him and he'll soften up and give you cuddles or whatever it is that you want.

➨ You watched the Earth and its beautiful nature from a cloud near Heaven as you observed the flock of birds passing through vast cities or mountain ranges or the calm winds swaying the forests of jungles far away from human civilisation.

➨ Gazing down upon the mortal realm, you smiled at how lovely the days seemed but decided to visit Nezha at his temple. Both you and Nezha planned together that you'll be stargazing tonight after completing his duties.

➨ But once you arrived, your eyes widened in shock after seeing a damaged temple before you. You swiftly searched where Nezha could be under the rubble and even tried desperately calling out his name.

➨ After minutes, possibly hours of searching to find Nezha, you had no luck. A feeling of dread overwhelms you as you feel your heart tighten painfully, and you can't help falling down on your knees and crying. 

➨ “Y/N. . .” You heard a soft-spoken Nezha from behind, and you saw him as you turned your head. Clothes ripped off and severally covered in wounds and bruises. He seemed very weak, as standing looked difficult for him, and as you approached him, he fell into your arms.

➨ You decided to take him to your temple, which thankfully was not too far away from Nezha's temple. As you helped him walk, the both of you eventually arrived and told him to lay down on your bed while you looked for the First Aid.

➨ Once you found it, you disinfected the wounds, cleaned the blood from his skin, and carefully closed the wounds with bandages. As much as you wanted to ask Nezha what happened, but his face showed he needed some time before talking.

➨ After finally finishing aiding his injuries, Nezha quietly muttered. "I failed," You turned your attention to him as you raised a brow to hear him repeat himself. "I failed my duties." He sounded burnt out, judging from his tone of voice. You've known Nezha for a long time, and from what you learned, he tends to work himself too much without taking a break.

➨ "Well, I'm certain that's not true-" You tried to reassure him, but Nezha immediately cut you off. "It is!" He snapped at you, and you were frightened by the sudden tone shift. "The Map of the Samadhi Fire fell into the hands of Sun Wukong, and then the Lady Bone Demon took that power and nearly destroyed the world!" Flames of anger flashed in his eyes for a moment while you were ever more concerned than before.

➨ He realised what he had done, so he calmed down and breathed slowly yet heavily. "Apologies for my love. You aren't aware of what has been happening as of late." You noticed how his body looked tense and you knew this little outburst will put some pressure on the wounds. "Here." You softly spoke as you positioned yourself on the bed and massaged his shoulders whilst avoiding his wounds.

➨ "When you're ready, you can talk about what happened." You tell him with a comforting tone, and he feels more at ease once you relax his muscles. "Thank you, Y/N." He explains that the Lady Bone Demon returned, and Wukong foolishly stole the map and gathered all the Rings of Samadhi, which not only led a mortal child to be engulfed by its flame but to be used in her evil schemes.

➨ You continued to calm him down and prevented his blood from boiling and disrupting the healing process, but you were so worried about Nezha fighting a possessed Monkey King and the possible end to the Earth. "Oh, my poor darling." You expressed your distress for your lover before coming close to his face and giving him a kiss on the lips.

➨ Then, that's when you notice the dark circles under his eyes, his dried lips, and his overall exhausted state up close. "Nezha. . .You look tired. When was the last time you slept, drank, anything in that matter." You cupped his face with both of his hands.

➨ "Not since I traced down Wukong in order to get the Rings of Samadhi." He responded with a tired voice. "Wasn't that a month ago?" You replied back, but he didn't answer back while looking guilty.

➨ You didn't notice, but night had already fallen over Heaven, and you saw all the glorious stars and galaxies that could be seen from your windows. "I'm sorry, Y/N." He held your face gently, sounding sincere and guilty to make you so worried. "There's no need to apologise, Nezha," Your voice sounded compassionate.

➨ "You had such a rough time since we last saw each other. Please don't beat yourself up anymore." Nezha was moved by your words and hugged you while you heard the muffled crying sounds. You caressed his back comfortingly as he held onto you and whispered sweet things into his ear.

➨ Once Nezha finished letting out his emotions, you gestured to him to rest his head on your lap, and you massaged his head and caressed his long, dark hair. "The stars sure do look beautiful tonight." You told him, and that's when he remembered his promise to you. "I completely forgot our promise." He recalled, but you responded consolingly, "It's alright."

➨ "But I promise-" You interrupted him. "It doesn't matter. All that matters now is you." He smiled at how kind-hearted you were towards him and observed the skies in your room. "This may not be the best spot, but having you with me makes the experience even better." Nezha softly said to you.
