who else is fucking tired of fandoms seeing canon bi and pan characters being called “straight” because they show interest in/have been with people of the opposite gender, or lesbian/gay because they’ve shown interest in/are with someone of the same gender and they can’t comprehend that people can like more than one?!?!?!
Just a reminder that bisexual/pansexual/omnisexual [and any other identity under the umbrella] do end up in opposite gender appearing relationships that to the passing eye may appear hetero. This HOWEVER does NOT mean that the person stops being Bisexual/Pansexual/Omnisexual. To say otherwise is biphobic/Panphobic/Homophonic. The Queer community is supposed to be kind and opening, stop 'gatekeeping' places/spaces they should also feel safe in.
That is to also be said. Stop hating content creators who ship a bisexual/pansexual/omnisexual [and any other identity under said umbrella] character for shipping them in an opposite gender relationship. They are allowed to, and as long as both you and the other shipper are being respectful about eachothers ships that is perfectly normal. This is to be also said, Don't complain about a ship not having enough content, if you want more make it, maybe you'll inspire someone else to create as well.
I'm saying this because I'm seeing some concerning trends in queer spaces and fandoms again, and I have a voice and I will use it.
I don't care how much you reblog ace positivity posts if you don't learn to recognize and call out every form of radical feminism in queer spaces. My community was decimated and our support systems destroyed because of this shit. Both we and the aromantic community have still barely recovered. Many of us won't feel safe in queer spaces ever again. And now I see the same vile shit now attacking trans mascs. Slapping "TERFs DNI" on your bio is worth fuck all if you're fine with keeping the door wide open to the same scumbaggery wearing different hats. If you aren't also dedicated to stamping out this culture of oppression Olympics, of trying to find acceptable targets by conflating individuals with oppressive systems, and making social justice into a cudgel to beat people into submission with, we're always going to be vulnerable to self-righteous bottom-feeders out only to validate their own trauma by hurting anyone within reach.

Given the right prompts, Alexios/Kassandra says they could LOVE Daphnea and they were so upset that they had to make that choice - kill her and lead the Daughters of Artemis or refuse and lose the only recurring romance in the game.
