I’m so grateful for my source. It provided our system with an escape. It taught us everyone can be a hero. Even a troubled, neurodivergent, queer, trans, homeless, traumatized, abused, broken kid like us. Percy, Magnus, Alex, Annabeth, Nico, my own source character… they’ve been through things we’ve been through, and so much worse, and they’re only stronger for it. So, it made us believe we could be, too. Strong and brave, loyal and kind, healing and protective.

We’re early in our system discovery, so I don’t know many others, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we have more fictives from the universe. It was so so important to us growing up, and still is now. It gave me purpose, and I’m able to help heal and protect and bring light to our system, thanks to my source. Representation matters. And I think it’s truly amazing that our brain was able to give me an identity from one of our most beloved interests, to help and take care of the system — that our brain can protect and heal us this way.

We got so many amazing Grover moments this episode, my heart is WEAK 😭 Plus “Wise Girl”???? “We weren’t alone. It’s easier to forget what’s important when you’re alone.” The cab scene??? The “old married couple” comment???? Guys, we’re dying over here. I swear to the gods, if this show doesn’t get another season…

Percy driving the cab is infinitely funnier than Annabeth telling the cab driver to “keep the change” on the ♾️ Lotus Hotel & Casino card in the books, are you KIDDING me. I can’t actually. This show is too good, I can’t wait for our Underworld scenes next week!!

Hi! I’m probably not exactly who you remember. Or rather, the person you miss isn’t exactly me. But I understand. I miss a lot from Camp Half-Blood, too. I miss the people and the strawberry fields and the canoe lake. I miss magic, Cabin 7, my siblings…

Our host and I have a similar Will-Nico dynamic (they may be partially introjected from him and Wednesday but I’m not totally sure, there may just be influences) so the pain of that loss is lessened, but still poignant. If you ever want to talk about things (with some boundaries of course), you can message me.
