We must remain close to our loved ones to ensure that they are walking in strength and security. This is especially true for a Husband, who must be an active steward of his Wife.
To neglect or abrogate this duty has dire consequences. We see them early in Genesis. Because Adam was not as active as he should have been, the Adversary gained the opportunity to tempt and deceive Eve. I suspect the Fall was inevitable, but one wonders what might be different today had the first Man been more protective of the first Woman.
Please pray for an increase in domestic stewardship, that all husbands may be better providers and protectors for their wives, that all women may be better comforters and helpmates for their husbands, and that the family unit may thrive in love. God bless you all!
