As a life path 8, Lauryn Hill’s major life lessons are ruled by the planet of soul accountability and conscious gravity. Within her chart: Saturn is in the sign of self-reflection.
With four placements in Gemini, Lauryn has one major stellium... there are six air sign placements, and also six fire sign placements, out of eighteen total. Which signals to passion of communication through her life purpose.
Saturn naturally rules Capricorn, and predominantly directs the Root, while also influencing the Third-Eye. These chakra are very abundant, as portals to the unconscious. It’s the center of emotional security, along with the center of mental health. A pronounced Root introduces a strong sense of security, which allows to form a healthy sexual identity. While a pronounced Third-Eye would introduce a strong inner clarity, which could develop clairvoyant or claircognizant abilities.
People with predominant masculine placements (Air+Fire) tend to struggle with objective perspectives. Your spiritual autonomy grows as you explore your personal beliefs. When we neglect to realize our own beliefs, we would confuse the context of our socialization and struggle to form a real identity.
Within her Vedic chart, Lauryn’s Jyestha nakshatra symbolizes unfavorable misgivings in connection with household tradition. The Goddess Jyestha was born within a cosmic ocean as counterpart to her younger sister, Lakshmi. While her sister embodies beauty and fortune, Jyestha is to exemplify the exact opposite. She is said to dwell among sinners, as the symbol of sloth, she brings sorrow and causes poverty. I see that this reflects the pressure of traditionally feminine roles within family. It allows me to surmise the sensitivity of social expectations which can motivate a deviation from certain identities.

♄ Utilizing Chakras to Heal your Saturn Wounds
Chakra is a Sanskrit term used to describe each of the energetic power stations within the human body. These stations, when balanced, ensure the flow of divine energy from our root to our crown.
Balance is also significant to Saturn, which is exalted in the sign of the divine scales, Libra. Saturn’s placement within the natal chart creates restriction, either self imposed or through uncontrollable fated circumstances. As a result, the native lacks or struggles with the themes of whatever it touches, creating an imbalance among the Chakras.
This pursuit of balance becomes a tasklist with progress reports every 27-30 years (Saturn's Return). The goal is to balance and master this energy.
Embracing the energy of the weaker chakras can assist in this process and in healing. This is a cohesive list (with recommended placements) curated to suit the emotional wounds or lack created by Saturn in the signs and houses. Of course, this can be used as you please! The frequencies can be found on youtube.

Root Chakra
The Root Chakra controls instincts, basic needs, safety and stability. Being the first chakra starting from below, it anchors the soul to the physical body, giving the individual a physical form and physical awareness. Groundedness and trust are sourced from this chakra.
Once open, the individual will be asked to re-examine their perception of and approach to safety and stability, in order to release trauma, self-esteem issues and fears. A new self will emerge in this process, with increased passion and courage.
The key to unlock the Root Chakra is CONFIDENCE ⭐
The vibration of this chakra resonates with the BODY 🤸
The fastest way to block this chakra is through FEAR 😨
The wisdom hidden in this chakra is of INDEPENDENCE 💪
*******************
Continuing with the series on the 7 Chakras, today I felt guided to post about Root. This is one of the hardest chakras to balance because most of what the Root Chakra manages is caused by external circumstances and/or people, which may cause a great amount of psychological damage if the situations persist for long periods of time. One of the interesting paradoxes of the Root is that it resonates with the body yet the damage shows in the mind. However, not everything is tragic about it. Since this is the simplest chakra, the solution is also relatively simple (theoretically): need nothing, fear nothing, let nothing define (affect) you.

Grounding Your Energy: A Guided Meditation for the Root Chakra
Shaina Tranquilino
August 1, 2023
In today's fast-paced world, it is easy to become disconnected from our own bodies and the present moment. This disconnection can manifest as feelings of anxiety, insecurity, or restlessness. To restore balance and foster a sense of stability within ourselves, it is essential to pay attention to our root chakra. Located at the base of the spine, this energy center is associated with grounding, stability, security, and connection to the physical world. In this blog post, we will explore a guided meditation designed specifically to activate and align your root chakra.
Step 1: Prepare yourself
Find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably without any distractions. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to calm your mind and relax your body. Feel the weight of your body on the chair or cushion beneath you. As you inhale, imagine drawing in positive energy, and as you exhale, release any tension or negativity that may be present.
Step 2: Visualize red light
Now visualize a vibrant red light glowing at the base of your spine—the colour associated with the root chakra. Picture this light growing brighter with each breath you take. Allow its warm glow to expand throughout your entire pelvic area.
Step 3: Connect with nature
Imagine yourself sitting at the base of a majestic tree in a serene forest setting. Visualize strong roots extending from your tailbone into the earth below—just like those of the tree beside you. Envision these roots going deeper and deeper into Mother Earth until they reach its core.
As you connect with nature through this visualization exercise, feel yourself absorbing strength and stability from the earth beneath you. Embrace the support it provides; let go of any worries or fears as they dissolve into the ground through your roots.
Step 4: Affirmations for grounding
Repeat affirmations that resonate with your sense of grounding and stability. You can say them out loud or silently in your mind:
- "I am safe, secure, and grounded in this present moment."
- "I trust the process of life, knowing that I am supported by the earth beneath me."
- "I release all fears and insecurities, allowing myself to be fully present."
Say these affirmations several times, allowing their meaning to sink deep into your consciousness.
Step 5: Energize your root chakra
Now envision a spinning red wheel or lotus flower at the base of your spine—the symbol of your root chakra. Imagine it rotating clockwise, gaining momentum with each breath you take. As it spins faster and brighter, feel its energy flowing throughout your entire body—balancing, purifying, and energizing.
Step 6: Closing the meditation
Take a few moments to sit quietly, observing any sensations or feelings that arise within you. Express gratitude for this time dedicated to nurturing your root chakra and reconnecting with yourself. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes while holding onto the calmness and groundedness you have cultivated.
By regularly practicing this guided meditation for the root chakra, you can enhance feelings of stability, security, and connection to the physical world. Grounding our energy through focusing on the root chakra allows us to anchor ourselves in the present moment and find inner balance amidst life's challenges. Embrace this practice as an opportunity to cultivate a strong foundation from which you can grow and thrive in all areas of life.
