Sm Ignacio - Tumblr Posts
I'll do you one better:
Ignacio thought John was getting too close to the truth and so decided to burn his house down without telling the other cultists, for all Evermore knows, John really did just burn his own house down out of negligence.
Evermore is definitely part of the cult, but what if his "blah blah blah" thing with John was genuine, what if he genuinely believes he's just helping run an elite group of rich members of the town searching for immortality, and because he's all wrapped up in it, the idea of it being a cult is absurd to him
Spookyville idea: early on Burton offhandedly asks Ignacio if the burn scars are related to him being blind, and Ignacio simply replies they're from an "unrelated incident"
Neat.
This also gives me the chance to mention: Ignacio would have long messy hair for most of the series, it's only when Burton cleans him up that he has the haircut we know him to sport.
Hollow Sorrows Trailer Breakdown LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO
Obviously, if you don't want spoilers, scroll away. If you've already seen the trailer, LET'S GO!!!

So when we first see possessed Patty, she looks mostly normal, you can't even see her demon teeth through the mask yet. John and Jack probably only came in since they heard a scream and/or struggle coming from the morgue.

So we get a shot of the boys being too chaotic, something Gregor points out and what will likely cause the "bad character development" Pelo ahs mentioned.
Also, since it's 100% what Pelo would do, Costume Bob is the guy in the HF suit. Mark my words.

The scene with the hatz is really interesting to me, since Skid and Pump just annoys Roy for a moment and leave. I think this might be all we get of the hatzgang this time, similar to how Frank only had a brief Appearance in Tender Treats. If my theory that episode 7 will focus on Roy is true, this little scene will be very interesting to dissect when the full episode drops.

We actually get out first proper glimpse at a new character and I think this old man is the very last character in the line up teaser

And there's also a pretty good chance he Roy's grandfather and given the way he reacts to the boys antics here, I can definitely see him being a another reasons Roy's the way he is.
If he actually is Roy's grandpa, then @crossover-enthusiast and I's Roy discussions are going to get really fun pretty soon.

Here, Skid is clearly holding a framed photo, meaning this will almost certainly be the first time his father is brought up directly.
Also, yeah, with Pump's line about "hangover spooky month", it seems my theory about Lila in this episode was at least half right.

Yet more proof that the boys' absent parents will be more of a focus. The trailer as a whole gives me some ideas regarding the Wonder parents, but I feel they're best saved for another time.

The boys get into trouble with the cops and I have 2 theories regarding when, either Gregor tries to get them sent home before going to the hospital, but they talk their way out of it, or they actually do get sent home at the end of the episode.
John's expression here immediately makes we think that something Skid or Pump said reminded him of his daughter. Another plot thread that has yet to be directly acknowledged.

Ignacio watches Gregor lead the boys away, maybe he lives down the street from Skid and Lila to keep an eye on them for the cult?
Either way, I'm surprised his appearance won't take place in the hospital as I previously predicted.

"I will be your guide. And I know your parents would be proud of you."
There's something undeniably sinister about this line, but how sinister hinges on whether Gregor is a cultist or ex-cultist. Whatever the case may be, he definitely knows more about or sees more in the boys than he lets on.

A great title card, and thought the blood everywhere is definitely concerning, I don't think there's anything to really say here, just wanted to get a screenshot of it.

And it would appear the character I've referred to as the cat lady will have the unenviable role of a hapless victim to the episode's villain. But honestly, I'm more surprised by her being at the hospital in the first place and why that never occurred to me before.
The actual progression of Patty's possession confirms to she's possessed by something other than Moloch. And what seals it for me is, fittingly, the eyes. The white of her eyes becomes a more vivid yellow, yet her pupil snot only don't form Moloch's typical spirals, but they're a more vivid shade of baby blue, a color that has never had any significance in the series before. Moloch will mostly be trapped in Dexter before eventually possessing Gregor, I will die on this hill.

AND THE FUGGIN' RELEASE DATE!!!
Alright, that's all, only a month now. We're so back!
Father Gregor: Spooky Month's fascinating anti-villain

Now, before I go full tilt into my rambling, I want to explain why I'm classing Gregor as an anti-villain. Put simply, his character flaws get in the way of his noble goals and lead to him and the boys being in danger.
So, what does Gregor do in Hollow Sorrows, anyway?
Well, he suddenly takes it upon himself to teach two unruly children how to act in a way he deems acceptable. Over the course of his effort he first gets them to ask people for forgiveness and/or make amends for issues they've caused. Where this went wrong is Gregor making the boys systematically apologies to everyone, including Patty, which leads to all the Moloch shenanigans, and Ignacio, which is implied to be what led to Gregor being sacrificed at the end of the episode.
Then we have the other lessons Gregor tried to teach the boys, all of which backfired, with Skid and Pump applying them in situations or ways Gregor didn't foresee or intend. The reason for these backfires being Gregor's inability to look past his own values and understand why someone might not act in accordance to them. He shows this almost every time he talks to someone other than the boys, as the criticisms he makes, while usually at least partly true, often don't come from the right place or don't consider context.
This is what makes Gregor an anti-villain to me, and why I consider this to be his episode instead of Moloch's. Pelo said in the stream where he redid the cultist reference sheet that he wants the villains of the episode to have a seven deadly sins theme to them. Seeing as the first 2 episodes didn't really have focused villains and the cult, as the big bads, aren't likely to be grouped with the episode specific villains, I always saw his statement as referring to episodes 3-9. With this in mind, the villains and their sins would be: Moloch- wrath (obsessed with getting revenge on the boys) Dexter- lust (bloodlust or his "needs") Bob- gluttony (duh) and now, with Hollow Sorrows, Gregor- pride (as his arrogance and perceived moral superiority to others continuously causes problems during the episode) I do have theories on the remaining episode villains and their sins connections, but that's a story for another post.
This is a very real SM theory
What I've stumbled across this time is, I'll admit, completely batshit on the face of it. BUT, if you follow my flow of logic, I think you'll actually be more convinced than you'd expect
So, what is it that set my theorist mind off? Well, the character we knew we were meeting this episode, Aaron (which is apparently the name of Ross's dad in that model sheet)

We only see him twice (and no, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, his tattoo changes what arm it's on between scenes) and in those scenes, he's mostly silent and is notably not paying attention to Jaune, despite her talking with their obviously distressed shared friend in the first scene and is separated from Jaune by the cinematography in the second scene.
From what we've seen of Aaron, both in this episode and the TT photos, he isn't very expressive, but he still shows his feelings through movement, or rather, a position in the photos, something absent in his present self.
So, what, if anything, lead to this seeming slight rift between Aaron and Jaune?
Well, we could assume it was something after Ross's birth, but could we narrow it down further? Yes, yes we can, mainly due to the first bomb I'm about to drop on you.
Jaune is a cult spy
Yes, I'm dead fucking serious. Let's look over the way the cult operates, shall we? They carefully monitor anything related to their plans while other members are on stand by, should something go wrong. How does this tie to Jaune?
Simple, she's the one keeping tabs on Lila, Ignacio does live closer, but is so abrasive, he could never get close enough to someone for intimate spying. Jaune on the other hand, as Lila's best friend, could theoretically keep tabs on certain aspects of Lila's life.
The next obvious question is why. Why would Jaune spy on Lila for a cult? Well, she wouldn't. She would, however, keep a close eye on her friend if someone else close to said friend, like say, said friend's husband, expressed concern for her emotional well being.
I know I'm probably losing some of you now, but this is where we get to another insanely counter intuitive yet convincing claim.
Jaune isn't spying on Lila because Lila's husband asked her, she's spying on Lila because she doesn't want Lila to know that-
Jaune had an affair with Lila's husband
I KNOW, I KNOW, I sound like Dale from King of the Hill right now, but I swear to you, this will all click together by the end.
Picture this, Jaune, a heavy drinker, is over at her friend's house one night when Lila's husband starts coming onto her and you know what happens, this goes from a one off event, to a semi-regular ritual for the pair. Some time later, he tells Jaune that he's worried Lila might catch on, and encourages her to carefully pay attention to any sudden mood shifts and.... share them wit ha trusted associate of his.
So, now that I've established the logic of this happening and that it will likely come into focus at some point, but what does this have to do with Aaron's detachment and how could it come into play?
It's not just that Aaron knows Jaune cheated and will reveal it to Lila, no, it's so much worse.
But first, I have to dispel some fanon for a moment, despite how popular the concept is, we have no in or out of series proof that Ross dyes his hair, the only photo of him we see is him and Aaron with Ross looking just as he does at present.
Why do I bring this up, oh my poor unsuspecting friends, it should be clear. If Ross has naturally black hair, that would mean-
Ross matches the genetic profile of Jaune and Skidad's biological child
And there you have it, the dark underbelly at back of the newest instalment in our beloved Halloween series.
And, if by some chance, you still don't believe this theory of Ross and Skid being half-brothers to be at the very least valid, well then, I have something that will blow your fucking mind.......
.........
And I'm not telling you cause it's 'Pril Fools Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moments from my first post HS hunger games
For those who haven't been here a while (and by "a while", I mean literally the first 2 days since I started regularly posting here), I did a highlight compilation post of moments from my Spooky Month hunger games simulator, and I'm doing it again, just with 36 characters instead of 24

That's some random stuff, but I also have some more specific insanity
First is what happened after Roy died

And after that....

Yeh
And then there's all the shit Garcia did

I'm so glad I used this image because it conjures the funniest mental images for me
And for those wondering how it ended,

But she does have orange-ish-yellow ties in her hair, so there's that. The green might just be a patient gown. That or she regularly wore a lot of green like Ignacio and Mort and you know where this is going.

This image is so funny to me why did Patty let a kid in to see their dead mom
