It's once again that point where my brain almost explodes because of all [the] unwritten words, [the] unpainted canvas. My heart violently wincing in its lucid dreams, still unable to wake yet. My lungs in search for a knife to tear themselves open. On the sharpest edge, you let yourself but still cannot fall. Like a puppet on a string spinning shapelessly, singing silently..

..waiting, for a push.

Need the creativity to go berserk and just pour it all out. I know it might be dangerous but what kind of Art is it without that?

And yet, despite all that rave inside me, here I am, only melting in my love for cats and squirrels; that's as dangerous as it gets at the moment...

Gerard is just... a fascinating human. This is somehow both surreal and strange and yet surprisingly relatable? I had never thought of the images a book created in my mind as happening behind my head rather than in it, but his explanation of that is intriguing. Also the thing about climbing into your own head? Deeply relatable. 

Also I appreciate the Barbara cameo :) At least, when I see squirrels in something Gerard-related, I now assume that they are his tame squirrel friends.

Back in February, Gerard contributed to a comic/prose anthology, along with several other artists/authors, called The Secret Loves of Geeks. He wrote a short 4-page comic on the subject of love. It’s very Gerard. Anyway, here are pictures from my copy. I haven’t spotted any chatter about this in the tags yet, so enjoy! Also, the full book can be purchased here– and it’s well worth it, because all these stories talk about love in all kinds of forms, all sorts of genders and sexualities, etc. Really a great thing that he participated in! 

This little asshole keeps getting into a bird feeder, so we need to test how small is *too* small

2 inch opening: Alright, lets try chewing the opening a bit, As long as we get the nuts into the mouth (huhuhu) we good I guess…

I am loving the tree cam, it has the most interesting stuff in my yard currently. Here's a little medley from the last couple of weeks.

Hi I don’t really post on here, but I’m kinda confused. I saw a bat that was on the ground and it’s not moving a lot and I put it in a box but I don’t know what to do. Does anybody know what kinda bat this is or what I should do?

Edit: Thank you to the person who responded. I was able to find a rehabilitator for them and they stay with her now. I’ve never did that before, but THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE ADVICE.
