Chan:

Definitely one to take home to your parents

In a super intense major that keeps him busy

BUT he always answers your calls and is there to drive you home late at night whenever you need

Gets up early to walk you to class

When I say he is the most supportive boyfriend ever, I mean it. If you pass a hard class, he'll take you to dinner. If you have a big event, he's right there by your side and always telling you how proud of you he is

Can be forgetful during Dead Week and finals, but it's not intentional

Falling asleep on his lap at 10pm while studying/doing homework together

Make a goal to see a certain number of movies or try every boba shop in town so that neither of you has to put too much thought into dates and can fit one in both of your schedules

Likely to move in together for your last year or two

He will randomly do something special like take you to the beach on the weekend or buy you a gift out of nowhere as a reminder that he loves you even though he doesn't always have time for you

Minho:

Buys you a coffee every morning along with his own

Dates to cat cafes are a common occurrence

Not overly affectionate on campus, but ALWAYS with you

Hates seeing you struggle with homework and will do his best to help you

With that said, he loves bothering you while you study. Whether it be tickling behind your ear or leaning in to kiss your neck, he will take pride in distracting you

Willing to drive/walk you anywhere, anytime just to make sure you're safe

Secretly loves taking care when you're drunk because he can be more lovey dovey without you teasing him (or remembering it the next morning)

Studying dance and invites you to his recitals so he can show off

Buys you gifts to take home to your parents for the holidays

If you move into an apartment together, you bet that you'll soon be adopting a cat together

Will leave you notes in your textbooks, backpack, etc. just to tell you that you're beautiful, intelligent, and that he loves you. It's one of the few ways he outwardly shows his affection

Changbin:

He's always going home on the weekends, so eventually, you just end up coming with him

Going on walks together is almost a daily occurrence and he always holds your hand or gently slings his arm around your waist

Writes you songs because of course he does

Constantly calls or Facetimes you, even if you saw each other two hours ago

Always bragging about his "smart and pretty significant other"

Volunteers with the campus students who will walk others around campus to ensure they get wherever they are going safely

Gets you in trouble in class because he's constantly texting you

Always "orders too much food" and will bring it over to you, so you often end up with free dinner

Binge Netflix together on the weekends

Long late night drives whenever you argue to force yourselves to work it out

Working out together and helps train you if you want

Hyunjin:

Whiny, but in a cute way

Always makes time for you, regardless of what his class load looks like

Acts like he's annoyed when you show him affection in public, but his ears always go red

Listening to music can be a date with him, especially if in an empty dance studio together. The two of you dance without thinking too much about it and show each other new songs

He's the talk of the dorms when he first moves in, but he makes it obvious that he only has eyes for you

Quiet, domestic days where you wake up late and stay in each other's arms all day are his favorite

Has random bouts of energy or excitement and will drag you along for some adventure which usually ends in you preventing him from getting hurt

Shyly waits outside your last class of the day so he can walk you back and/or you can hang out

Complains that Kkami likes you better

Jisung:

Takes any chance he can to embarrass you with his unabashed PDA and affection

Carries your books/backpack whenever you're together on campus

Share a pair of Airpods so that you can always show each other new music

Communicate through song lyrics a lot tbh

Goes out to bars, clubs, or other social outings with you despite his anxiety just to watch out for you and take you home if you get too drunk

Late night runs to the convenience store for ramen and snacks

Stays up late studying with you and provides lots of encouragement (and caffeine)

Basically share clothes with him at a certain point and it is not uncommon for you to go to class in one of his sweatshirts

He's constantly staying over and has a sort of sarcastic rapport with your roommate

Always, always, always making you laugh

Felix:

Baking together is a favorite past time for both of you

Video games on the weekends

Encourages you to go to campus events and invites you out a lot, but isn't pushy about it

Helps you with your homework and will show up at the library with brownies during Dead Week and finals

Asks you to read to him to help you get through your required reading (it often puts him to sleep but honestly that's a plus for him)

A nervous wreck when meeting any of your family for the first time, but they all love him ofc

Feed the campus squirrels together

He's basically the only person who actually uses the shared dorm kitchen and constantly attracts people from the building due to the amazing smell of whatever he is making

Facetiming even though the two of you are just down the hall from each other

Late night talks that end in cuddles

Seungmin:

The quintessential college boyfriend

Your parents love him

Extremely responsible and doesn't really party or do any of the cliche college kid stuff

His studies are very important to him, but he also always has time for you and supports you in everything you do

Not overly affectionate most of the time, but loves when your roommate goes out of time so he can relax and be as disgustingly cute as he wants without anyone else witnessing it

Lots of good natured bickering and teasing

Will spend hours in the library with you during finals week even if he's finished all of his and could technically go home

Deep talks at random times

Has a secret place he discovered that others either do not know about or rarely visit. Perhaps it's in the library, one of the academic buildings he frequents, or even outside somewhere that the two of you go and share as a little secret between you

Acts like it's an inconvenience to take care of you but literally is always prepared and loves it

Jeongin:

Very stylish and dresses up for his classes

Always carrying snacks and sneaks them into your pocket or bag before you go into class

Plays small pranks on you, but never mean spirited ones and they usually end with the two of you devolving into laughter

A bit of a sarcastic flirting style

Switches into Satoori whenever he's complimenting you or being affectionate (particularly in public)

Loves showing you places he loves and takes you back to Busan over spring break

Horseplay is common among you and it gets out of hand once and breaks something

Constantly telling you dirty or suggestive jokes to see you blush

Likes to be taken care of you, but also takes care of you in subtle ways

Can be a bit shy, especially when you're around his friends

SKZ Reaction To Forgetting Their S/O's Birthday

Genre: light angst, fluff

A/N: Thanks for the request!

Chan:

To be honest, I think it's unlikely that Chan forgets your birthday at all. He's good about those sorts of things and would set a calendar reminder just to make sure. If he did forget your birthday, it would likely be due to his schedule or overwork. Instead of making a huge gesture to beg your forgiveness, he'll simply show up with flowers, an apology, and your gift. It's so sincere that it's enough.

Minho:

He would think Felix was joking at first when he mentioned it was your birthday. When he realized that it wasn't a joke, he would immediately drop whatever he was doing to go get a last minute gift and come to your side. I think he would pretend like he remembered at first, but if you call him out on it, he'll admit it and apologize profusely. Ultimately, you'd get an extra cuddly and affectionate Minho which was rare, so it made up for it.

Changbin:

This poor man would absolutely hate himself. At first, he would isolate to collect himself and his thoughts. Early the next morning you'd wake up to dozens of flowers, a copious amount of your favorite snacks, and an apologetic Changbin. You'd spend the rest of the day watching movies and eating snacks. From then on, he'd set a reminder in his phone to ensure this never happened again.

Hyunjin:

Hyunjin would rely on you to remind him because he is hopeless at remembering birthdays other than his own and Kkami's. If he did end up forgetting it, depending on how much importance his partner puts on their birthday, he would sacrifice sleep to take them to dinner. If his partner didn't care too much for birthdays, he would give them their gift a few days late and apologize for missing it on the day.

Jisung:

Similar to Changbin, this man will beat himself up. He'll probably shyly apologize and practically beg with his eyes for you not to be mad. He would spend the next two to three days making it up to you. This may include bringing you your favorite boba, letting you pick takeout every night, and taking you for walks along the Han River. After letting him stew for a bit, you'd tell him that it really wasn't a big deal.

Felix:

Honestly, Felix would be surprised if he forgets his birthday. It would likely only happen if they were preparing for comeback or if he thought it was on a different day. Luckily, he ordered your gifts well in advance and so he is able to give them to you with an apologetic look that makes it impossible to be mad at him. Expect a soft Felix for a few days with lots of forehead kisses, playing with your fingers, and the sharing of a playlist of songs he wrote for you.

Seungmin:

He may not see it as a big deal at first because if you forgot his, he wouldn't care too much. However, if his nonchalance causes a fight, he would realize just how much your birthday meant to you. He'd take you out to a nice restaurant and take you shopping after to pick out anything you wanted. Back hugs, soft and shy compliments, and later he'd send a large text about how he's sorry and how much he loves you.

Jeongin:

Similar to Minho, he may try to joke about it, but for him, this is an awkward deflection tactic as he figures out what exactly he's going to do. When he realizes you're mad mad he'd leave to pick up some of your favorite things as well as the present he had actually gotten you months ago in preparation for your birthday. Still, he knew gifts couldn't totally make up for it, so he'd make sure to be extra gentle and eventually talk about it.

Stray Kids Reaction To Their SO Having Curly Hair

A/N: As a wavy-haired girl myself, this is def is a tad self-indulgent.

Chan:

Chan will love your curly hair and it just might help him embrace his own curls. Ngl, he'll be a little amazed at your hair care routine and all it takes to keep your curls from frizzing or tangling. Whenever his hands end up in your hair, he'll be extremely careful because he knows how easy it is for things to get tangled in it, but running his hands through your hair during a kiss always makes him weak in the knees.

Minho:

Honestly, I feel like this man doesn't have much of a preference on his SO's hair. Of course, he loves it because it's yours, but its not something that he immediately notices. During your relationship though, he'll love to gather your hair into a ponytail just to see your face better. Whenever you think your hair looks awful or it just won't cooperate, he's always there to reassure you that it looks fine and that it doesn't matter cause it will get messed up later.

Changbin:

Changbin LOVES your curly hair, especially when you wear it long. His hands are constantly playing with the ends of them whenever his arm is around your shoulders or when you lay your head on his lap. He'll love putting his caps on your head just to see how your hair looks in it. He's a sucker for you in a backward baseball cap. Changbin will also keep a list of your hair care products on his phone so he always gets the right one.

Hyunjin:

The two of you absolutely share hair accessories. One day you'll come home to find him using one of your headbands to keep his hair out of his eyes as he paints. Another day he'll find you using his clips while you style your hair. Truthfully, neither of you mind. Hyunjin rarely comments on your hair specifically, but he always goes out of his way to leave kisses in your hair.

Jisung:

Playing with your hair is a pastime for Jisung. It never gets old for him and he's constantly gathering it into a ponytail and letting it fall loose again just to repeat the process. He never explicitly says anything about your hair, but you can tell how much he loves it by how much attention he gives it. Something about curly hair will absolutely get worked into one of his sad love songs.

Felix:

Felix is all for words of affirmation and never ceases to tell you how beautiful you are, including how much he loves your hair. Like Jisung, he always finds himself playing with it, but it's in a more absentminded way. No matter when you ask him if your hair looks all right, he will always say yes, even if you've just woken up. Will one day curl his hair so you two can "match."

Seungmin:

Seungmin rarely says things explicitly. That doesn't mean that he doesn't say you look beautiful or that he loves you, it's just that he cannot fathom identifying one feature in particular when he loves all of you. Of course, your curly hair is part of that. However, if you got hold of his diary, you'd see just how much he thinks about your hair and that it is often one of the first things he notices about you.

Jeongin:

He shows his love for you (and your hair) with teasing. It's mostly harmless and he knows when to be serious. If you've done something new with your hair or gotten all just up, this man will be speechless, and any thoughts of teasing you go out the window. I mean, he can't even form words. While he may not care about hair texture one way or another, he loves your hair because it's yours.

SKZ Reaction To Seeing Surgery Scars On Their S/O

A/N: My first anon 🥹 thank you so much and I hope you enjoy it. Also, thank you for 1,000 followers 🥺

Chan:

Chan knew about your appendectomy scar and how it was one of your complexes, but you'd always managed to keep it hidden from him. He tried to express that it was perfectly normal to have surgical scars and that it wouldn't change how he felt about you, but it still took you time to show it to him.

Pulling up your shirt, you winced as the keloid scar became visible. Chan stayed quiet before gently running the softest part of his fingertips over the rough scar.

"Does it hurt?" he asked.

"Sometimes," you said. "But not too much anymore."

He nodded in understanding and reached down to intertwine your fingers.

Minho:

Minho understood why you were scared for him to see your scoliosis surgery scar because he too had a surgery scar that he felt self-conscious of. While he'd sometimes caught a small glimpse of it, you always tried to keep it hidden. Eventually, though, it became impossible to deny the intimacy growing between the two of you.

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours," he said, trying to lighten the mood with some light sarcasm. It seemed to work since you laughed and some of the tension in your body. When you finally threw your shirt aside, his breath hitched at the long vertical scar down your spine. It lined up with the curves of your body linearly, making your body look like two butterfly wings sprouting from the scar.

"Fuck, you're so gorgeous."

Changbin:

Changbin knew you had a tumor removed from your kidney as a kid, but it never crossed his mind that you might have a scar. While you sometimes even forget about it, there are times you get reminded. Someone looks a little too hard at your abdomen when wearing a crop top, or someone was bold enough to ask what happened.

You'd long put your childhood brush with cancer behind you, but when Changbin first noticed your scar, your body filled with dread. Would it be the last straw and he would finally find you completely unattractive and dump you?

However, Changbin didn't say a word and just placed his palm over it. He'd continue to do this, sometimes without even thinking about it, just reminding you that he loved every part of you, even the parts you sometimes wanted to hide.

Hyunjin:

Hyunjin noticed that you always wore long sleeves. At first, he didn't think much about it, until there was an especially hot day when you refused to take off your long-sleeved shirt. When he questioned it, he saw the panicked look in your eyes and knew something was wrong.

After a bit of soft prodding, you eventually explained that you'd broken your arm as a kid and had had surgery, leaving you with a scar. Hyunjin was silent for a few moments.

"Is that all? You thought I would mind that?"

"Well, I mean, you're so gorgeous."

"I still have scars, babe." He chuckled and reached for your sleeve, gently pulling it up and rubbing the pad of his thumb over the scar. He didn't say anything else, but gently leaned down and kissed the scar.

Jisung:

When Jisung first met you, it was at a large event where you'd had your makeup professionally done. But, the next time he saw you, it was a late night at the convenience store where the scar from a skin graft surgery you'd had after getting a burn on one side of your face. Compared to what it could look like, it was relatively minor, but the scar was visible and you'd only just got used to doing small errands like this without covering it up.

Jisung can't lie and say it didn't catch him off guard, but it only made him more interested in you. He bought you a pudding and chatted with you, deciding not to mention anything unless you did. This surprised you because most people couldn't help but ask for the sob story of the car accident that resulted in major burns to your face.

Eventually, you did tell Jisung what happened though it took time and getting over some insecurities. But, Jisung's openness about his insecurities and your insistence that they didn't matter to him helped you come to realize how enamored he actually was with you.

Felix:

You and Felix were both very open about your insecurities and who you are. However, you could never get yourself to show your biopsy scar. The scar was small, but noticeable. So, you kept it covered. As you and Felix became more intimate, you knew he would eventually see your scar.

Felix was a sweetheart. You knew he wouldn’t care and that such a small flaw would not affect how he felt about you. Yet, still, there was a nagging worry. When Felix does see the scar and notice the way your body tenses when his eyes graze over it, he takes your hand and kisses the back of it gently.

“It looks beautiful on you,” he said, as if he were looking at you trying on a dress and not gazing at your scar. His hand brought yours to his cheek.

Seungmin:

On the outside, it wasn't obvious that you had lupus, but Seungmin had begun to notice that you never drank—not even beer or wine. He didn't mind but found it a bit curious since it was not something he was used to with people around his age. Still, he didn't ask questions. That was until he was staying the night at your apartment and caught a glimpse of the hockey stick shaped scar on the right side of your abdomen from having a kidney transplant.

His eyes widened as he began to put it all together. He didn't flip out but did ask if you were okay. After you explained, he felt better but also felt bad that you felt like you needed to hide such a major part of yourself from him. From then on, he would sometimes find himself absentmindedly running his fingers over the scar when you lie together.

Jeongin:

Jeongin knew you'd had knee surgery a few years ago after tearing your meniscus. But, he'd never seen the scar. Of course, he was never actively looking for it but realized that you never showed your knees at all. When asked about it, he could tell it was a touchy subject, but a few sweet words and reassuring touches calmed you.

Rolling up your pant leg, you showed him the scar. It was larger than most other similar scars because your injury had been extensive. The scar—at least in Jeongin's eyes—wasn't too visible, but he made sure to give you a cute peck on the nose and encourage you to wear what you wanted since surgery scars were nothing to be ashamed of.

"Is your father a thief? Because he stole all the world's stars to put them into your eyes!" You stared dead into his eyes, pondering your life choices and most importantly your barista choices. He smiled brightly, too brightly, for the unholy hour you were both forced to wake up and handed you your first cup of the day, filled to the brim with coffee.

"No, but he must be a ring leader with all the clowns I attract" you huffed out, hand already spread out to accept your drink from the lousy brunette. You greedily swallowed a big gulp of it, your eyes flying to his messy hair and crisp apron. He must have gotten up earlier than you and you cried a little inside.

"Ohh Come on! It's Valentine's, princess. Everybody deserves a compliment!" He whined, flashing a big heart shaped grin that fit the holiday to the glove.

You furrowed your brows "Don't call me princess" you bit, annoyance obvious in your tone. You weren't one of the girls that fell with that kind of line.

Rather than princess, witchling fit you better.

He blinked at you innocently and opened his mouth once again "Mrs Grinch then?" He inquired, one eyebrow high but upon seeing your deadpan expression, he exploded with laughter. He literally threw himself on the countertop, almost doubling from laughter on top of it. You huffed a breath, left him some of your change and walked towards the door. "See you later Mrs Grinch!"

You didn't bother looking at him instead you waved a hand over your shoulder as a goodbye and called back "Sure Mr Sunshine"

...

You weren't running.

You were calm.

You were quiet..

You were in your zone...

And so fucking late!

You speed walked to the cafe on your way to class. The morning philosophy class you had to take this semester wouldn't be so bad with a coffee in your hand. Or so you had convinced yourself.

You threw open the gigantic glass doors and rushed to join the queue of the grumpy students trying to get their dose of caffeine. You were just about to reach goe your phone to busy yourself till you reach the counter but a call stopped you.

"Mrs Grinch!" Ryunjin shouted.

You blinked. It sounded familiar...

"Mrs Grinch!" She shouted, this time her gaze locking with yours. You checked if she was looking at someone else around you but when you saw no one giving her the time of day, you raised one brow and pointed at yourself.

She enthusiastically nodded so you hesitantly left the queue and approached her. You stopped in front of her but didn't said anything. So she grinned, pushed the cup towards you and quoted "From Mr. Sunshine" You let out a breath at this. Jisung had his ways, that was certain. You thanked her, but she dismissed you with a wave and a knowing smile and ushered you out.

You tentatively took a sip.

Black, just how you liked it.

And he knew that.

...

This continued for several days and you slowly started to make your appearance, besides the busy mornings, to the afternoon shifts of a certain loud barista.

"Hello Mrs Grinch! I see today you are not in a hurry!" He greeted you cheerily, but you couldn't pay attention at him. You only could stare at his hair.

"You dyed it" you said instead. His lovely chestnut hair was replaced by a bark blue black that was enhancing his features sure, but it also gave him an edge that you weren't used to.

His hands immediately flew to his tresses, giving them a tug. "Does it look bad?" He wondered quietly, almost insecurely. But that couldn't be, loud he may be but insecure he was not. And he had not a single reason to be.

"No. They look good. It's just not.. very you" you concluded as you tapped your chin in your search for the right words.

He smiled slyly. "What is very me?" he questioned, leaning over the counter that always separated you. You stared into his eyes.Shrugged.

"Sunshine core, I guess. Black to go" you changed the flow of the conversation quickly. He whined for a bit but, eventually, he turned around to make your coffee.

"Why you always leave? Can't you stay here for coffee for once?" He asked, still whining cutely to you. You paused your search for money to give him a confused look. Why would you? He saw the question in your eyes and exclaimed "I would be over the beans happy! Get it?" His giggles surrounded you.

You wouldn't be able to focus in there. The music, the chats and...his laughter would, surely, be distracting. So instead of an answer you told him "Keep the change" and walked out of the door.

...

Once more you were in the cafe for leisure rather than need. You had wanted to relax and enjoy a cup in your own pace. You entered and quietness welcomed you. From the melodious jazz music till the airiness from inside the bar brought you a sense of calm.

Until you saw Jisung'a face.

His bright heart shaped smile, that you had used to seeing upon his face, was missing. In fact his lips were turned downwards almost in a pout, but sadder. You roused the cashier slowly. "Who is the Grinch now?" You asked, gently without your usual bite. Today seemed like he could do without it.

He met your eyes a with small smile, that seemed all he could muster at the moment. He turned and started making your coffee, without a single word. So you stood there and watched him. Usually in his haste to turn around again and talk to you, he would rush and make small mistakes, he would curse or laugh the pain away and he would ask about your day. Today was not usually. So you asked instead. "Are you ok Mr. Sunshine?" Low and gently. You were afraid of raising your voice to a normal tone, as if it would shatter a very needed barrier he had build.

He sighed.

The sound came from somewhere deep insiyhis chest. "One of my friends...he had a fight with his girlfriend..and when I took her side, he said a couple of things.. Nothing you should be worried about. I am fine." he concluded, eyes on your cup, on the check out, anywhere but you.

"I see" you hummed. And began gathering your things and your cup from the counter. "I hope you don't worry yourself too much, Jisung. Talk to him. It's not fair to you to be uncomfortable or insecure about something he said in anger and, probably, didn't even mean." You said and left the shop before he could answer.

On your way to your dorm you couldn't get out of your mind the image of Jisung pouting and avoiding your gaze. You stood still for a moment and signed before turning around. You knew just what to do to cheer him up. So you walked to the nearest bakery, bought the freshest and loveliest cheesecake and made a bee line to the coffee shop, where the unhappy barista worked. You opened the enormous doors again, this time more cautiously.

You checked the tables and the stairs, but the boy was nowhere in sight so you approached the counter, fully prepared to leave the cheesecake and leave. But, of course, it was that moment he chose to return to his post.

His eyes widened a tiny bit, but he quickly put a small smile on his face and approached you. "Hello again. Want anything else?" He asked quietly, his eyes fleeting from yours again.

Now or never. You told yourself.

You placed the baked good on the countertop and pushed it lightly towards him. "No. But this is for you. Hope you feel better" you muttered and speeded towards the exit yet again. The fresh air hit you but before you could step further into him and away from the cafe, your name was being called. Or rather you peculiar nickname.

"Mrs Grinch! Y/N!" Jisung called, breath elaborated from his jog.You turned to him, unsure of what to make of this sudden persuasion. You raised a brow and jotted your chin towards him, a silent invitation to speak first.

He looked very pink in this new and natural night, you thought. "So....ummm..I was wondering..if you.. would like to go out sometime." he asked, nervousness taking over. "With me!" He quietly squealed, almost forgetting the most important part.

You looked at him, really looked.

A sweet boy, who knew how you took your coffee, asked how your day was, how you were feeling and what plans did you have.

Were those enough to like him? No.

We're those enough to get you interested in knowing him? Yes.

And you got the feeling that you would come to like him easily. He was sweet, cheery and warm.
