PROMARE FANS I NEED TO KNOW
Promare fans I have a question that I've been sitting on for YEARS!!!!
So me and my sister went to see Promare in theaters when it first came out and it swiftly became one of my favorite anime movies right? Right.
So how many of you remember the after credit scene?
You know the one where it showed Galo and Lio were both still firefighters and it was just a cute ending tie in to show how stuff was going?
So fast forward a bit into the future and I begged and pleaded and managed to get my mom to watch the movie, I can't remember where it was streaming on but she watched it and liked it but I come to find out that cute little after credit scene is GONE. I go to look it up and can't find anything about it. Later on I get my friends to sit with me and boom, a different streaming site STILL no after credit scene m. Dissatisfied but feeling like maybe I just imagined the entire thing, I got it on Blu-ray. It's got so much extra story it's awesome.
Me and my sister sit down to watch it with a homie on my sick Blu-ray and I bring up the scene at the end of the movie. My sister agrees. She remembers it, exactly the same as me! But it's not there! It's not on the Blu-ray.
So real talk, did my sister and I collectively hallucinate the after credit scene of Promare? Did it ever exist? Does anyone else remember this after the credits scene?
Because I still can't find anything about it!
Please let me know because I think it's the Mandela effect messing with me.

Satsuki Kiryuin

About her character and why she is stone femme headcanon for me.
Satsuki has this cold, strong and fierce appearance, polished and calculated yet she's so vulnerable on the inside, and has a huge and rich inner world. She's acutely smart, a powerful strategist, a good and strong leader with the kindest heart I've ever seen. You may think that Satsuki is stubborn or a despot, but keep in mind that she had to survive in order to protect the whole world and their closest friends.
She had such important goals: to free humanity (and herself) from the biofibers and the tyranny of her own mother, to avenge her father and sister and to protect the ones she loved the most.
Junketsu was a symbolism of compulsory heterosexuality, the 'chastity' she was forced up into and that withdrew her from loving Nonon openly, and it also was a constant rape (for obvious reasons). The thing here is, although Satsuki willingly wore Junketsu, that doesn't mean she had another option. Junketsu was made to control Satsuki and also Ragyo used it to control Ryuko too. He forcibly tied them up to heterosexuality (after all he was a wedding suit and a symbolic husband).
But we also have to remember that she wanted Ryuko to get stronger and surpass her from the very beginning, and later on Satsuki found out her sister (Ryuko) wasn't dead and then everything changed: she could still have a family of her own blood that wouldn't abuse her, that could truly and deeply love her for who she is.
Satsuki believed that she could lead a revolution against her mother and the biofibers, using the power she had as Ragyo's daughter and the fear it inflicted on everyone, by building a hierarchical system based on power and obedience because she had to be cautious. The empire her mother owned was larger and stronger, and Satsuki knew that she would only have a chance if she made her mother think she was working for her. This led her to repress her thoughts, feelings and emotions.
But there was Nonon: her best friend and her lover, the only girl that she could ever trust, the one that knew her best. Nonon always respected her boundaries and desires, she took care of her dreams and her deepest wounds. Nonon knew the pain Satsuki had endured to save everyone.
Satsuki didn't want those suits, she didn't want the biofibers, she had to use them and let herself be used by them in order to save everyone and set them free. She truly cares about people but couldn't really trust them because of how her mother treated her (Ragyo was basically a child abuser and a pedophile), and Ryuko helped her to understand that she actually could do it.
For all of this is why I think Satsuki is a stone femme. She embodies what a femme that had to face sexual, physical and emotional abuse is. Her mother made her believe she was a failure, that she didn't belong and would never be enough for her, but even though all of that made her tough, she didn't lose her hope and kindness. It just happened that she showed them differently.
She finally learns how to trust others and let the women she loves take care of her too. And all of that trauma she had to endure was what made her come to terms with being a stone femme (but this is more subtle and also a personal interpretation). I can see pieces of my own self and story in hers, although we're not in the same league.

Lay Your Hands on Kiznaiver
Kiznaiver delivers a heartfelt and powerful message on the importance of empathy in our relationships. The anime tells the tale of a group of isolated teens who bond together through their shared physical and, later, emotional pain.
The Kizuna project brings great turmoil to the teens, but, it also allows them to gain a better understanding of each other and deepen their bonds. This creates a perfect analog to the Hedgehog's dilemma; we get hurt the closer we get to each other. Being burdened with someone's pain a first seems horrific. All of their discomfort and trauma becomes your responsibility. Why would anyone want to experience someone else's pain in the first place? The members of the Kizuna system each express their contention for the experiment and how they believe it brings more harm than good. This system isn't without merit, however. It forces them to be more considerate of how they approach each other or else they too will be hurt.
Growing intimate with others also means emphasizing with them. Their struggles and misfortune become your concern. Friends share their burdens. Some will see this as a hindrance while others will view it as a testament to their relationship. Katsuhira wasn't aware how much his aloofness was harming Chidori until he experienced her emotional pain. This realization motivates him to apologize to Chidori while being more thoughtful of her feelings. Once the cast learns of Maki's troubled past, they all set out to understand her feelings and be a shoulder for her to cry on. Finally, even after the Kizuna system has been removed, the characters can feel Katsuhira's pain with all the vividness of before. They've become true friends at last.
Kiznaiver's biggest flaw is its short length. This greatly stifled the potential for in-depth character development seeing as how Honoka is the only character besides Katsuhira with a major character arc. The other characters felt bare-bones by comparison. The cast was still enjoyable, but, there was a lot of room for improvement. We could've easily had a show twice its length had the producers been more generous.
Art and animation are consistently fluid throughout the entire run. Studio Trigger brought out their A-game and finally produced a show that doesn't look like an embarrassment once you pause it. Another thing to note is that it had the grace of getting a dub from Ocean productions. Canadian anime dubs are extremely rare in a medium oversaturated with LA-based voices. Using a Canadian cast allowed for each character to have a voice unique to them and every performance sounded fresh. It is such a breath of fresh air hearing lesser-known actors getting their time to shine.
Much thanks to Mari Okada for crafting such a charming teen drama. It seems that her genius truly shows when she works on anime with supernatural/sci-fi themes( Black rock shooter, wixoss, Aquarion Evol). She has a strong understanding of the human condition and what makes them tick.
