I realized that when you came up with an idea with something, you should always write it before it you forget it specially when it pops into your mind out of nowhere. Trust me those ideas were gold or mostly something that you needed sooner or later.

It just occurred to me that I wasn’t posting much stuff from my film..!
1000000% underrated and underdeveloped characters tbh:
I agree with ya on this! It’s brilliant btw! Justine being bad at some dances like ballet would be good and realistic.
Crystal being the baddie we needed. Also Jackie Frost and her bro need help cause they were so cringey and rushed.
Jillian – She does need some fears. Also I find her crush on Tiny cute. The stuff ya said bout Farrah is amazing.
Agree with what ya said bout Meeshell too!
Bunny and Alistair – I remember I was so angry when their characters weren’t focused on and all we knew was that they liked each other. They seemed so bland to me. But thank goodness for fans who elaborated on em.
Nina – so I checked the thumbalina fairytale right now to see the themes and got quite a bit so buckle in fam. She’s gotta keep travelling around quite a bit.
In the tale, thumbalina gets kidnapped by a frog and then runs away from em, then is on the run from different things ever since. She gets helped by bugs throughout the tale so maybe Nina calls on bugs and spiders and such instead of woodland creatures like the other princesses with the exception of her shallow ‘bird’ friend.
She rooms with this nice mouse and tells him stories and cooks for him. Then the mouse’s good friend who is the richest and the rich mouse is smittened with her and asks her to marry him. (she’s irrestible like all these creatures wanna marry her!)
She had to go along with it and reclutantly went to his home with her roommate. On the way there, in a tunnel was an injured shallow (bird) and the rich mouse kicked it and told it, it deserved its injuries. Thumbalina is disgusted and shocked and runs away from the mice and then comes back to tend to the bird when they are gone.
She took care of it till it could fly again and it was spring time by the time the bird was better and the bird asked her to come along to where the bird would reunite with her friends. Thumbelina is tired of adventure and declines.
The lovesick rich mouse finds her again and asks her to marry him once again. She tells him to let her bask in the sun before they’d have to live underground for most of their life. (Thumbalina has a problem with telling people no I suppose? Maybe being a people pleaser.) She is roaming the fields one last time when her shallow friend comes and asks her to come away with her. This time she agrees. On their travels, she meets a ‘young, handsome’ king who for some reason has wings and she gets wings too when she marries him. She can feel like she belongs nowhere cause she was always on the move.
And the tale never mentions her reuniting with her mother. Plus the thumbell family can all deal with infertility and all. Fairytale conceptions methods do be interesting like eating roses for kids or in this case, planting a grain of barley and then kissing the petals of the flowers that grew.
The beginning of the tale says that the lady lost her husband and was lonely thus wanted a kid she never had. So would Nina have to lose her future spouse and then have a kid she will inevitably lose? Tragic af There’s a lot that can be explored. Also we needed Chase Redford at EAH ngl,like would be so cool and fun to explore more bout him.
Characters I think had a lot of potential but were heavily underused
Disclamer this is just my opinion and how I'd 'fix' them
Justine - She's shown to be good at every dance style, but that's so boring... what if instead she was horrible at ballet and wanted to befriend Duchess so they can practice together? (Duchess at first sees this as some kind of rivalry)
Also I hate what they did to Duchess on Justine's diary, she'd never cheat on a dance performance
I like her sleepdancing and her potential relationship with Ramona tho
Crystal - I've made a previous post about this but basically I find her to be very bland. I want character development; from cold Ice princess to her finally learling to love other people
Jillian - I like the fearless adventure girl trope and her interactions with Humphrey. Apart from that I don't have a lot of opinions, maybe add her one fatal fear that she overcomes? I don't know
Farrah - I don't have strong opinions about her, I like her. Maybe add more struggles regarding her wishes? Like people abuse them or something and maybe Ashlynn (or Crystal cof cof @crystals-gun-supremacy ) are the ones that help the rest realise that Farrah doesn't want to grant wishes all day.
Meeshell - I like her shy personality, I just wish she had more. Maybe she doesn't tell people her tragic destiny because she's too shy to talk about it and doesn't want other people worrying about her?
Also maybe her and Duchess can bond over their tragic destinies
Ramona - I want more interaction between her a Cerise! I want them to act as sisters. Also I want to know what happened to her and why was she sent to prision.
Bunny and Alistair - put them together because apparently that's what mattel thinks of them. Thank you fandom for making them actual characters and not just "girl and boy are in love with each other but are too shy to confess"
Nina - I literally have no opinions about her. She just exists

Character Development
When it comes to developing characters for a story, a lot of the questionaires and other prompts have a lot to do with what characters look like: what’s their weight? what’s their hight? eye color? Favorite color? The thing is, none of these things are usually going to help when it comes to making fleshed out and rounded characters - the ones readers will root for. The reason why is looks don’t compare against who a character is on the inside. What are their motivations? Why? Where do their little quirks come from? These are the things that make a character memorable.
When it comes to creating dynamic characters, this is the process I usually default to, adapted from indie author Jenna Moreci. All of the catagories belore are intertwined, which will be broken down as well. The beauty of this method is that you don’t have to have everything fleshed out from the get-go. Even if you only have one or two details, you can use this to build that into a whole dynamic character.
The main points you want to get by the time you’re done are:
their backstory/life experience
social role
motivation described in 1-2 words
three strengths/three weaknesses
what the perfect novel ending is for your character
why that’s the perfect end
what your character’s underlying need is

About her character and why she is stone femme headcanon for me.
Satsuki has this cold, strong and fierce appearance, polished and calculated yet she's so vulnerable on the inside, and has a huge and rich inner world. She's acutely smart, a powerful strategist, a good and strong leader with the kindest heart I've ever seen. You may think that Satsuki is stubborn or a despot, but keep in mind that she had to survive in order to protect the whole world and their closest friends.
She had such important goals: to free humanity (and herself) from the biofibers and the tyranny of her own mother, to avenge her father and sister and to protect the ones she loved the most.
Junketsu was a symbolism of compulsory heterosexuality, the 'chastity' she was forced up into and that withdrew her from loving Nonon openly, and it also was a constant rape (for obvious reasons). The thing here is, although Satsuki willingly wore Junketsu, that doesn't mean she had another option. Junketsu was made to control Satsuki and also Ragyo used it to control Ryuko too. He forcibly tied them up to heterosexuality (after all he was a wedding suit and a symbolic husband).
But we also have to remember that she wanted Ryuko to get stronger and surpass her from the very beginning, and later on Satsuki found out her sister (Ryuko) wasn't dead and then everything changed: she could still have a family of her own blood that wouldn't abuse her, that could truly and deeply love her for who she is.
Satsuki believed that she could lead a revolution against her mother and the biofibers, using the power she had as Ragyo's daughter and the fear it inflicted on everyone, by building a hierarchical system based on power and obedience because she had to be cautious. The empire her mother owned was larger and stronger, and Satsuki knew that she would only have a chance if she made her mother think she was working for her. This led her to repress her thoughts, feelings and emotions.
But there was Nonon: her best friend and her lover, the only girl that she could ever trust, the one that knew her best. Nonon always respected her boundaries and desires, she took care of her dreams and her deepest wounds. Nonon knew the pain Satsuki had endured to save everyone.
Satsuki didn't want those suits, she didn't want the biofibers, she had to use them and let herself be used by them in order to save everyone and set them free. She truly cares about people but couldn't really trust them because of how her mother treated her (Ragyo was basically a child abuser and a pedophile), and Ryuko helped her to understand that she actually could do it.
For all of this is why I think Satsuki is a stone femme. She embodies what a femme that had to face sexual, physical and emotional abuse is. Her mother made her believe she was a failure, that she didn't belong and would never be enough for her, but even though all of that made her tough, she didn't lose her hope and kindness. It just happened that she showed them differently.
She finally learns how to trust others and let the women she loves take care of her too. And all of that trauma she had to endure was what made her come to terms with being a stone femme (but this is more subtle and also a personal interpretation). I can see pieces of my own self and story in hers, although we're not in the same league.
Sorry if this is vey inaccurate but Duck can basically do the thing from the Ringu/ the Ring movies? Because that is the only thing on my mind right now reading this 😅😄

as visões começaram cedo, sendo visto como promissor, mas havia uma sobre um dragão de escamas tão escuras que eram confundidas com o completo vazio que lhe tomavam todas as noites, inicialmente acreditavam ser apenas um sinal que um novo magicae das sombras tomaria poder logo e não que estivessem errados mas não era uma leitura total. os detalhes passavam a se tornar maiores ao ponto de umbriel identificar com maior clareza sobre o que de fato se tratava. contrabando e exploração de dragões selvagens, um deles em especifico parecia tentar se comunicar consigo fazendo com que o miraead se ligado de alguma forma a sua situação angustiante. havia acionado os oficiais do reino mas estes pareciam preocupados com outras coisas que consideravam mais importantes que dragões, chegava a ser revoltante quando a fonte de magia e força de navarre era exatamente os mesmo. tomado pelo ódio e desejo de fazer algo, tratou de fazer sozinho o que aqueles que deveriam não faziam. em um noite fugiu de casa, se perdendo entre as montanhas em busca do dragão.
o corpo pequeno e esquio conseguia se esconder facilmente enquanto analisava o local e como libertar os dragões. um em especial o chamando a atenção, aquele que aparecia com maior frequência e nitidez em suas visões. um dragão que parecia criar uma fumaça densa e escura ao que parecia servir para os criminosos como bombas de distração, já que não conseguiam doma-lo de fato. umbriel havia sido um tolo e completamente imaturo em se atrever a intervir sozinho em uma situação como aquela, de alto perigo, carregando pelo resto da vida cicatrizes do ato ainda que com orgulho do próprio feito já que acreditava ter feito a coisa certa. havia sobrevivido, unicamente porque o dragão ao qual parecia ter uma ligação fez questão de protege-lo o levando consigo um tanto desajeitado em seu voo pelo tempo preso nas algemas. stygian, foi o nome lhe dado pela habilidade de criar escuridão e longe de umbriel não demonstrar medo perante a criatura mas havia admiração e devoção nos olhos brilhantes, talvez havia sido isso que fez o dragão se arriscar em protege-lo e o fez com que decidisse ser um cavaleiro de dragão.

vindo da mui antiga e nobre casa dos black, uma das maiores, mais antigas e mais influentes famílias de sangue-puros da grã-bretanha, sirius é a vergonha de toda a sua linhagem e não podia estar mais orgulhoso disso.
o filho mais velho de orion e walburga teve uma infância infeliz. sempre sentiu que não se encaixava entre os seus, que não tinha a liberdade necessária para ser genuíno dentro de seu lar, entre as pessoas de mesmo sangue. conforme crescia, mais odioso era voltar para a casa fria e escura, onde não havia qualquer carinho e compreensão. a aversão de sirius crescia na mesma medida que ele. contudo, o garoto nunca tentou se encaixar nos moldes que seus pais desenharam para ele.
sirius quebrou todos os padrões esperados de alguém com um sobrenome de tanto peso. a começar por ter se tornado membro da grifinória em hogwarts, indo contra tantas linhas de sua árvore genealógica que acabaram na casa de salazar sonserina. mas aquilo foi o começo de sua jornada de libertação, como ele gosta de chamar. sua amizade com james, remus e peter foi transformadora. não só pelas aventuras vividas ao lado dos amigos tão querido, nem só pela jornada de se tornarem animagos ilegais para ajudar remus. mas porque seus amigos aceitavam-no como era. com sua personalidade expansiva e suas brincadeiras, que ele dificilmente sabia a hora de parar. para alguém que crescera sendo repreendido por 9 entre 10 coisas que fazia, aquilo era comovente, mesmo que ele não goste muito de demonstrar aquilo em particular.
o ponto alto de sua aceitação foi deixar a casa de sua família para trás e se juntar aos potter. encontrar nos pais do melhor amigo o carinho que não recebeu de sua própria família e ter no outro um irmão, um companheiro, como seu próprio irmão nunca fora, por conta das diferenças que tinham. sirius foi feliz durante sua estadia com os potter. muito agradecido por tudo o que fizeram por ele e sempre disposto a ajudá-los, a ser um filho tão bom quanto james, para que eles não se arrependessem de sua escolha.
o problema é que sirius era um grande idiota. fosse a soberba ou a quantidade de tempo que precisou reprimir-se, ou ainda o quanto viver sob as próprias regras influenciava em sua personalidade, mas sirius era um grande idiota. especialmente durante os tempos de escola. parecia que tinha um rei na barriga e uma enorme coroa dourada sob os cabelos desengrenhados, pela maneira como se portava, se comportava e como tratava os outros.
contudo, sua bola pareceu murchar um pouco com o passar dos anos. talvez fosse a iminente guerra que se aproximava ou como o reino de terror de voldemort ganhava força. de repente, haviam coisas muito mais importantes com o que se preocupar. e sirius, de fato, deu atenção a elas. desde que se formou na escola, é um membro da ordem da fênix. mesmo sem formação profissional, é um bruxo muito habilidoso e um membro valioso para o time de dumbledore, por conta de sua bravura e esperteza.
por conta do título de sociedade secreta, sirius não pode divulgar que é um membro da ordem. então, para quem vê de fora, parece que ele é apenas um belo desocupado que vive na farra e atrapalhando o casamento de seu melhor amigo.
━━ P E R S O N A L I D A D E.
a coisa mais fácil de se perceber a respeito de sirius é quão carismático ele é. simpático, divertido, cheio de graça. o mais velho dos black é bonito e sabe disso, usa isso a seu favor. os cabelos longos, desengrenhados e os olhos escuros sendo seus traços mais marcantes. alto, esbelto e caloroso. sirius adora contato físico. gosta de abraçar, beijar, de segurar nas mãos e nos braços dos amigos enquanto conversa, de andar colado. e é credor fiel da frase "beijo reforça a amizade". e é isso, sirius tem sorrisos e beijos para todo mundo. mas o instinto protetor é para poucos. como bom cachorro grande, gosta de ser o líder da matilha, de manter as pessoas queridas às suas costas, sob sua proteção. ele mata e morre por seus amigos, de maneira literal. sem hesitar.
corajoso, com bons conselhos para dar de vez em quando. sirius é aquela pessoa que quer ver todo mundo ao seu redor no seu melhor. e se não puder fazer nada a respeito, ele é um ótimo ombro para chorar. é extremamente confiável e vai levar seu segredo para o túmulo, seja você quem for. mas ainda é um grande idiota de vez em quando. sabe como é, velhos hábitos nunca morrem. sirius ainda é um garoto, um garotão birrento, com manias bobas e brincadeiras sem graça. mas, de um jeito ou de outro, também faz parte de seu charme único.
Five Years of Difference
I started my digital art journey 5 years ago now on procreate, and the improvement sure is something!
I was a traditional artist before I started, so transitioning to digital was a learning curve. Even simple things like lineart and colouring was a struggle at the start. All of which are a breeze for me now.
