While I was binging the Artful Dodger a couple of days ago, I kept getting the feeling that dodgerfox really gave me msr vibes but I couldn't figure out why (minus the absolute feral behavior exhibited by both ships, of course). My brain kept circling the medical aspect of both ships, but I just couldn't figure it out

Just started the artful dodger, but like, WHY did no one tell me it was set in Australia????

my hot take is that i actually believe this is true. not necessarily in the sense that jack loves her less -- he's obviously unhinged about it -- but in the sense that belle just has so much more access to love than he does. she can admit her own feelings to herself, she can say what she wants much more easily than he can. and this certainly comes in part from her bravery and emotional vulnerability, but like so many other things, it also comes from her privilege -- the privilege of having been loved without ever having been abandoned. even in the power of their love, they are unequal, even in this she benefits. their honest, true, and mutual love saves her life; it ruins his. nothing about them can ever be neutral.

This scene fucking killed me. Jack keeping his fingers on Belle's pulse all night just to make sure she was still alive is such a romantic yet sad little detail. Man probably didn't get an ounce of sleep that night. 😭

I finished watching The Artful Dodger like 5 minutes ago. And I NEED a season 2. I don’t care they intended in to be a miniseries.

The worlds reminder that IF I DONT GET ANOTHER DAMN SEASON OF THE ARTFUL DODGER I WILL HUNT DOWN THE DIRECTORS AND PRODUCERS. I WILL HAVE MY SECOND SEASON.
