Grim being Jamils savior and pain in the ass is so funny to me, one minute he’s showing Jamil a bug he found and the next he’s eating it. Jamil doesn’t know if he should scream or thank grim.

Ace, Deuce, and Sebek!!

Ace can snark and mean joke all he wants, at the end of the day he's always one of the firsts to run to the rescue when Yuu is in danger or asks for help! That boy CANNOT hide how much he cares for his friends and I love him for it!

Deuce is a bit more obvious than Ace (because he snarks a lot less) but he's also the kind to do everything for his friends. Travel half the world to help Yuu. Butt head against Vil to protect Epel. (Tries to reinvent himself to please his mom. Can't go wrong with mama boys.) He's just lovely <3

And Sebek, well, I don't know him that much yet coz I haven't read Book 7 but I sense some Rottweiler vibes from him. Shows fangs and doesn't hesitate to attack to protect the ones he loves, all the while yapping happily and showing his belly to his trusted ones.

(Also Grim. Grim is the best. I love Grim and Grim loves Yuu. He's a big softie.)

Dunno, I decided to use Fairy Gala Jamil and Kalim for once in a battle, and it reminded me of an old grievance. Maybe now I can move on with it and just enjoy the event. I do really like it after all.

Yuu

17 years old, 1st year

They/them, probably on the aro/ace spectrum though they never really thought about it (they do get weird when people show interest in them)

Half Japanese half french

Probably has some flavor of AuDHD

Back home: Before they were kidnapped forcefully moved to Twisted Wonderland, they were the main caretaker of four younger siblings while their parents were busy working. One of their main worry now is whether their siblings are doing alright without them. Their deepest wish is to at least be able to phone call their family to reassure them that they are ok.

Personality: They usually prefer to stand to the side and observe rather than talk and engage with others. They tend to be very prudent with their actions, up until their patience runs out. They're actually pretty perceptive and great at reading others, they just keep everything to themself without realizing.

They make up their absence of magic with their fists and wits. People tend to underestimate them due to their size and quiet demeanor, but they can be vicious and ruthless when push comes to shove. They are not very expressive physically.

At school: Yuu has a terrible focus so they struggle a lot, even when the subject interests them. They are very fond of History of Magic but also hates it because learning a whole world's history in a few months only is a nightmare and a half. They also hate flying with a passion since they are scared of heights. If they could choose a club, Yuu would go for photography and/or filming.

At Ramshackle: Yuu cleans the dorm as a past time, it keeps their body moving while they're thinking about what problem they currently have. They hate cooking though, so when the cafeteria isn't accessible they try to cram themselves in whichever dorm will have them to enjoy someone else's cooking. They aren't very time savvy so they and Grim keep leaving late in the mornings.

Relationships (with Housewardens/OB)

Yuu has a soft spot for Riddle. Unless it's some rule they find completely nonsensical they tend to do whatever Riddle asks. Whenever Yuu comes to class with a clean uniform, it's because Riddle was around to correct their appearance.

Yuu and Leona's relationship is peak siblinghood. Once Yuu figures out that Leona won't act on (half of) his threats, it's over for him. He's one of the first Yuu comes to when they have a problem.

Yuu and Azul regularly try to outsmart each other. At first their interest with Azul is very transactional since he can help with everything Crowley can't be bothered to do (ie give Yuu an actual legal presence in this world) but since they have somewhat similar mindsets they end up getting along very well.

Yuu values Kalim's presence a lot. He's one of the rare pure hearted people at school so Yuu doesn't have to be hyper vigilant around him. It's a breath of fresh air. He is a bit too active for Yuu though, so they tire very fast around him.

"It takes one liar to know another" would be Jamil and Yuu's relationship starter. They had weird vibes from each other from the very start but Jamil did end up underestimating Yuu. Yuu is obsessed with Jamil's hair and regularly takes pictures of him.

Yuu is kinda scared of Vil (in a good way). If they were a tad more outgoing they'd be asking Vil to pose for their camera 24/7. Instead they quietly worship him.

If Yuu could, they'd adopt Idia (and Ortho). Yuu tends to miss their siblings all the time so they get a bit emotional around them both.

Yuu loves to observe Malleus. He's some kind of very strange entity that they can't get enough of and they don't understand half of what he talks about which tickles their curiosity a lot.

Yuu treats Grim like their own cat and plushie. They hold him in their arm as much as possible (until Grim gets tired of it and wanders off somewhere else) because it reassures them. They do fight a lot, a bit like siblings, but they also look out for the other all the time. Yuu sometimes agree to cook for Grim despite hating it.

Relationships (the less fun kind):

Since they're in a world they don't know with students who try to kill them every couple months, Yuu is very defensive in how they approach relationships. Everything starts as transactional and about how "useful" someone can be to keep around. They try to keep even the people they don't really get along with close for this reason.

They are actually very emotional (despite not showing it) so their heart takes precedence over their brain eventually. Despite not being particularly proactive they do go out of their way to help the ones they're close to.

Noooo not richard the cockroach!

Sometimes your autism makes you obsessed with virtual characters. Sometimes it has you stare at people all day and start a cockroach farm in your bedroom.

Grim regularly eats a cockroach.

A cockroach regularly manages to slip away without notice.

They're all called Richard, of course.

(Yuu also has a spider farm and they're all called Elizabeth)

i know how you feel i have been having a ton of school work lately and my exams are coming up. so i thought of playing obey me and twisted wonderland (i am a fan of both ,tho i have to admit the brothers are practically family now) in order to catch up cuz in obey me i am still stuck in the 32nd chapter and i'm fairly new to twist (just finished azul's overblot) so yeah. that's what i thought...

even after 3 nights without a wink of sleep i have gotten nowhere.

Also I can’t tell if this is from and event or Idia’s overblot chapter so I’m going with the later; Spoilers for anyone who hasn’t read Idia’s chapter yet

For starters, Grim is a dire beast. NRC has never had a dire beast as a student before and it’s hinted that they tend to be aggressive (as we see when Grim attacks MC when eating Vil’s overblot stone someone, I think Rook but I don’t remember and am too lazy to look rn, mentions it might’ve been bc he’s a dire beast) so it’s absolutely reasonable Crowley would be concerned about his magic levels and how dangerous he might be

Second, HE HAS BEEN EATING OVERBLOT STONES!?!!? I can’t recall rn who all knows about him eating the overblot stones but there is no way that’s good for him and I feel like it’s going to lead to something big, so if Crowley knows (wether we know that he knows or not, idk) it’s likely he would want to monitor this in case something big does happen

We, and all the cast, know that only the overblot victims were kidnapped. Except Grim, who was also kidnapped. That would raise a lot of questions, and despite how careless Crowley may get, it feels like he is always monitoring or keeping tabs on these things. Why was Grim kidnapped? He didn’t overblot? I don’t feel like Crowley is someone to look over something like that, even if he doesn’t directly say it

And going back to the whole ‘Grim is a dire beast’ thing, does Crowley know that Grim attacked MC? Bc Grim said he dosent remember having done that, if Crowley knows about this incident then he probably realizes how suspicious it is. That’s something worth keeping tabs on someone for

And lastly, Crowley knows WAY more than he is letting on and I feel it’s that way bc of something that’s going to happen towards the end of the game or at least later in the story. Some of the things he says just really feels suspicious and noteworthy (like what you mentioned in your post about Grim’s results)

Anyway I’m don’t for now, I’ll theorize more later. Goodnight <3

The narrative took us to the side and said "pay close attention to this." The fact that grim points it out as weird is huge.

What was crowly worried about? That idia was able to dig through the layer of spells? That grim would fall apart with all the blot being tested?

Side note here but idia mentions "spell scripts" in the masquerade event

Could it be that idia can see magic like a coding language? Perhaps the layers of magic were like when coding language is changed halfway through development on a title? Eventually things get all jumbled and stop working on the most recent build of a project.

A small scenario from my changeling au. Also my Yuu is loosely based off Elizabeth Grithiths.

TW: mention of injury and possible death.

Yuu is walking in the gardens of the school courtyard when they hear a small bell-like noise.

Plant fairy: *ring ring*

Yuu: oh hello, are you alright? You seem a bit frightened.

Plant fairy: *scared bell noise* points towards a bush that leads towards an old abandoned dorm.

Yuu: did something scare you over there?

The fairy nods and grabs her finger, leading her over to the fox where a small black cat-like creature is laying weak on the ground, small embers in its ears barely keeping it alive.

Yuu: oh no, the poor thing is barely breathing. Quickly, can you find me some tree sap, I’m going to take him inside to try and find somewhere dry.

The fairy nods and dashes off leaving a trail of fairy dust in its wake. Yuu glances down at the feline, letting out a mournful sigh.

Yuu: I hope your alright, 𝓖ǂഒ﹆.

Idea from my changeling au

TW:abandonment, brief mention of death.

So, we know that no one in twisted wonderland knows what grim is or his origins. What if he’s from Yuu’s world? Like, grim is a Fae creature or monster from our world that traveled through a rip in time caused by the mirror to be able to find us. But grim woke up before us and found out a bit about night raven from the streets where he was roaming. Grim is probably really young for his kind, as he seems to act a lot like a kitten in that sense. So perhaps he was the runt of the litter and he wants to get stronger to prove he’s not weak and maybe earn their love. But when breaking into night raven, he felt a strong sense of magic from his world that caused him to keep a little distance before the rain began. I like to think that grim is almost like a charmander from Pokémon in the fact that putting his flames out if life threatening to him. Anyway, there you go, have a little grim backstory.
