Tulip(girl with the gas mask): Omnisexual she/her cis woman
Glitch(next to Tulip): Pansexual he/they non-binary, male at birth
Einar(cuddling Milton): Polysexual/Demirose he/him cis man
Milton (under Einar): Pansexual he/him cis man
Ysolt(big one on the pillow): Bisexual she/they/he( or any) genderfluid, female at birth
Wojciech(little guy next to Ysolt on the pillow): Unlabeled he/him cis male
I hopefully will either get to do my other stories or more for this story. i have a lot of other characters in this story that are part of the LGBTQA+

nette really has no assigned birth gender. mostly because i don't care. they can be drawn more masculine or more feminine. with or without whatever traditionally gendered bits and bobs. it doesn't matter to me. whatever they are, they are them. ♡

My comic for the @onceuponarainbowzine!! Insipered by the variations of "The Golden Crab" from greece and "The Prince Crawfish" from Belarus.

I wanted to really try an communicate a certain story with this, with feeling of expectations from the world around you. Even in queer spaces it sometimes feels like if you don't fit into a certain "box" you've "failed" somehow.
As always this comic ended up with alot of layers to it, and ofc I fell in love with the main pair as soon as I came up with the concept >>-<<

Plain comic!
I found working with colour was my favourite way of story telling, which is the same in my artwork too. Stark changes between black&white and colour made mapping out my message much easier.
I'm still very new to comics, but I have found ways I enjoy story telling. With flater perspectives and playing more with boarders of comic panels.
Though balancing th art I find fun and art which reads well is a new challange for me! But the more you do it the more you'll learn! I can't wait to make some more story illustrations (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)
I decided early on that I wanted the crab to be Otherkin and Unlabeled with it/its pronouns. I wnated to make an effort to break out of my nique and empathise with lables that
I wanted to keep the crab in alternating gendered outfits, so it would be harder to gender it. From there I wanted to make a consious effort not to imply gender through the dialogue or outfits. with only 2 pages to work with you do have to skim over some nuace in the representation of identities ε-(≡Д≡；)
When desiging the clothes I tried to pull on a mix of acient greek gowns. With some Belarus clothing patterns on the crabs wedding cape. I wanted to keep the setting/time a little obscure, as the tale has multiple vartiations across europe.
Misha Collins and Ranboo came out in the same week. something in the water with these men istg-

Decided to redesign a tawog fankid I made a couple of months ago so here it is!!

Her gender is unlabeled (she’s usually referred to as female however she has no opinions on being referred to as anything else, if you ask her about her gender she’ll usually just say that she identifies as Rosemary)
She doesn’t rlly have any opinions on using any pronouns on her
She has an older brother named Lucien (I’ll redesign him soon
She usually hangs out with her cousin Sammy (a Penball kid who I’ll probably redesign before I redesign Lucien)
Her seashell hair accessory was a birthday gift from her father when she was really little

New occ just droppeddd, this is nemo! He's a vampire and a shape-shifting to show all my alterhuman types! I showed him w/ out a shirt to show his top surgery scars and birth marks he has to help his shape-shifting powers! I would describe him as nice and kinda like the moon!
