Dzagokü Kimaska was a loving, rather effeminate new-father. Now, after being imprisoned for his alleged role in denying his wife pain medication during the birth of their child, he is a scared animal who is overprotective of his family. He is the whumpee of Ingvarin.

Appearance: He has long, curly hair, that is golden at the top, though brown at the ends. He has a very thin body, with no body hair at all, Despite his thin frame, he has some defined muscles from regular farm work. He has a narrow-ish Roman nose, and a smooth, spherical head.

Type of whumpee (Mentions of abuse): When Dzagokü was first imprisoned for allegedly playing a role in denying his wife pain medication, he was very defiant, despite suffering from severe physical punishments. After being 'saved' by Ingvarin, who also comforted him after a beating, he quickly became attached to Ingvarin. When Ingvarin had him transferred to his house, he was very grateful despite Ingvarin displaying some aggressive behaviour. He became obedient towards him, and blamed himself when he was beaten and locked in the basement. Whilst with Ingvarin, he also suffered severe internal conflict as he fell deeply in love with Ingvarin, despite his personal beliefs that homosexuality is sinful.

Backstory and some useless info: He was born on 10th of March, 1994 in a farmhouse in northern Tokoik. He has a brother who is 2 years older than him. When he was 3, his father (who was in his mid 20s) suddenly abandoned the family to pursue a better career. His mother became very loving towards them as a result. Eventually, his older brother came out as gay. Dzagokü believed that all homosexuality is sinful, despite the religion that he follows explicitly allowing chaste homosexual relationships, so this resulted in some conflict between them but he decided to mind his own business.

hey, something i feel like is an under-utilized thing in whump writing:

ocd.

i have ocd, and trust me this shit turns you into a real life whumpee.

i just feel like this could be used so many ways. (i think at the end of this post i’ll add list of ideas.)

if you have ocd, use that experience to torture your characters!! it’s so therapeutic actually.

and if you don’t have ocd, you could do some research!! ask a friend or someone on the internet with ocd!! (if they are comfortable being asked) read some ocd posts, and et cetera!!

here are the ocd whump ideas/prompts: (trigger warning btw)

whumper exposing whumpee to their triggers

whumpee eliminating whumpee’s ability to do their compulsions

vegetarian whumpee (one who is vegetarian specifically because of their ocd) only allowed to eat meat

whumper worsening their anxieties by telling them that they’re true

ocd tends to get worse under stress, so whumpee’s ocd would likely grow more and more horrible during their captivity

self-harm based compulsions

whumpee needing to do a compulsion but terrified to disturb/annoy whumper, so they just sit there in rising anxiety, forced to decide between enduring the stress or risking angering whumper

whumper laughing at whumpee’s stress and calling them dramatic/sensitive/irrational

after rescue, whumpee having developed new compulsions from their captivity. could lead to them needing to ask permission from caretaker before eating/using the bathroom, or apologizing frequently, or et cetera.

you don’t even need a whumper. whumpee could just be someone with really bad ocd that functions as their whumper, and caretaker is trying to take care of them and help them recover

anyways, yea, those were my thoughts. if anybody does anything with this definitely let me know, i’d love to see!!

whump prompts/ideas

Whumpee’s trauma wasn’t even real, they’ve just been in a coma and dreamed it all. how can they cope after that?? they don’t even have the scars to show what happened to them!!

Whumpee is in a bit of a.. situation.. they seem to have found themself in a small, hollow cavern that is slowly being filled with wet concrete/cement.

Whumpee has been kidnapped and is being held captive at a sort of restaurant or resort or both, where kids (doesn’t have to be kids) are kidnapped with the intention of slaughtering them and feeding them to the guests (this is what happens to one of my OCs :D)

Whumpee found a phone.. they’ve been away from home for such a long time, and so they start calling someone they’re very close to immediately!! does their person answer?? maybe they won’t, because it’s an unknown number, or a sketchy-looking Messenger video call.. and is Whumpee hurt?? or crying?? do they have a location they can give their person?? how much does Whumpee tell them about what they’ve been through so far??

Whumpee is someone who has just gotten a paper cut. Whumper is just some guy who handed them the piece of paper. Caretaker is a little confused but goes along with it.

Carewhumper that Whumpee has been with for as long as they can remember. Whumpee is very conditioned, and loves Carewhumper. even when Carewhumper hurts them. (..which is kind of a lot-) Whumpee doesn’t even realize that there is something wrong with their situation.

Whumpee is gay or trans, and Whumper may be a horrible person who is willing to literally TORTURE poor Whumpee, but goddamnit they draw the line at homophobia/transphobia!!

..Whumpee is their own Whumper. and not even in a dramatic or heartbreaking way, no, Whumpee is just very clumsy and has really bad luck. Caretaker is desperately trying to keep an eye on them, but Whumpee insists they don’t need any help.. right before they fall down an open manhole..

bc it’ll be smth like ‘Whumpee just got an invitation from Whumper, they say it’s urgent. Whumpee figures they might as well, Whumper’s a nice guy anyways’, and like it’s just so funny!!

bc logically ik that the whumpee/whumper names are just placeholders, but reading about Whumpee or someone else deciding whether or not to trust this guy named Whumper is just hilarious to me. idk. do you guys get it??

ok. so. i hear that you’re supposed to advertise your book before you publish, (duh) and i was thinking—what better way to do that than to post little snippets and stuff of my WIPs here on Tumblr?? i just wanna know if y’all would be interested in reading them!! (there is a poll at the end)

so. for a summary of the universe: (i have many books and they are all so far in the same universe)

i basically took the Little Nightmares universe and then very heavily edited and changed it. i made lore for what causes the end of the world, added a bunch of new characters, locations, and other lore, and then there’s two continents—the Distorted Continent, and the ‘Normal’ Continent. the Distorted Continent is where all the monsters are, it’s under the Tower’s control, it’s FULL of monsters, distorted adults, and then a bunch of kids who have to try to survive it. the ‘Normal’ Continent was also affected, but it’s away from the Tower’s influence for the most part. it’s populated by humans and nonhumans—the nonhumans are things like demons, avians, (winged people) elves, orcs, et cetera. there’s also books set in the before and after of the world being ‘destroyed’. (the before is just the ordinary IRL world mostly)

ok, with the basics of the universe out of the way, here’s what my main book(s) is about.

the main plot centers around a group of kids. in the first book, they live in the distorted continent, and the plot centers around them traveling through there and trying to survive. the second book has a timeskip where they’re teenagers and live in the ‘normal’ continent, that plot centers more around the conflict between humans and nonhumans.

there is a LOT of whump. all the characters are queer in some way, most of them are neurodivergent, and about half are POC. there is also a very large female cast.

(also a bunch of secondary books, most of which relate to each other in some way, plus there’ll be a Gen2 for the main cast. lots of stuff. the genre is horror, and did i mention how much whump there is?? whump community should love this, plus any enjoyers of angst, hurt/comfort, and queer characters ^^)

And then there’s a creaking sound. The ceiling starts to bend under their weight. Eight clutches at Seven’s hand, and then the ceiling is suddenly breaking apart under them and they’re falling.

Eight screams, and then she’s cut off as she hits the ground with a loud thump that knocks all the breath out of her. She doesn’t even have a moment to get any of the breath back before Seven is landing on top of her and knocking out any remaining breath.

When Seven doesn’t immediately move, Eight just rolls to the side and knocks him off. She sits up stiffly, managing to suck air into her lungs that feel like they’ve collapsed or something.

They’re in a dark room. Eight starts to feel a sense of dread as Seven sits up beside her.

“..I feel like we’re about to die,” she tells him blankly.

“WHAT?!” He looks like he might cry.

“No, it’s- it’s an expression.”

“Oh. So we’re not gonna die?”

“..I never said that.”

hi. my take on masochist Whumpee.

so, to start off with i am very aware that masochist is most often used in a sexual way, i’m pretty sure the definition is sexual as well, but like personally i just like to twist it a bit and use it differently. (especially since my favorite Whumpee is pretty young and it makes me uncomfortable to have her in any sort of sexual situation, so i avoid those)

anyways, the way i use it is more of a—character seeks out pain and really believes they deserve it. sometimes it gets really twisted around in their head and they might enjoy the scenario. just not in a sexual way.

idk what kind of post this is. anyways this is just my take on masochist Whumpee.

sadist meaning you mainly picture scenarios from the perspective of the Whumper, and you enjoy the idea of making Whumpee suffer.

(i mean masochist in a nonsexual way for this btw.) trigger warnings: self harm, bad self talk, general bad mental health

Whumpee loves scars and visible injuries, and also the idea of attention for their marks

they wish they were worse. more injured, more traumatized, just generally more hurt

they feel like they deserve to be hurt

sometimes they consider doing things to hurt themself

they feel very sad and maybe panicky if their scars start to fade (they might do things to try to make them stay.. maybe pick at the scabs while the injury is still healing)

they fantasize about being horrifically injured and traumatized

they find pain very interesting. they often enjoy just spectating or analyzing any pain they’re in. for example if they’re on their period and having cramps, even if they have access to medicine they might just intentionally not get any

they enjoy looking at their blood, bruises, and scars. they look at their scars a lot after they’ve healed, and probably wish they had more. or, if the scars aren’t terribly visible, wish that they were more visible and plot how to make the next ones worse.

they feel really bad when they need help

they also feel really bad if they fuck up even the tiniest amount

they also feel really bad if they show weakness. if they get tired, if they’re upset about something small, if they think they’re being dramatic

they are MEAN to themself. internally telling themself that they’re ugly, dramatic, a horrible person

the permanent sense of guilt

..is it bad that i’m kinda Whumpee here?? 😅 all of these are just my experiences.. O_o

overly intimate whumpers who touch and hold their whumpees.

whumpees who a: have been there so long and are so touch-starved that they eventually just lean into it, or b: have been there as long as they can remember and think that’s what love is

caretakers who are horrified when they find out the reason whumpee braces themself when they’re hugged

caretakers being heartbroken at how touch-starved whumpee is, the way they’d do anything to be held

Whumpee continues contentedly up their trail in the forest next to their house. It’s a beautiful fall day out, their absolute favorite kind of day. The air is cool, the wind is blowing, and the leaves are crunchy and falling. They have their headphones in, listening to their favorite playlist.

They’ve been out here for a while. They have a few texts from Caretaker that they haven’t responded to yet, asking when they’ll be home. They’ll answer in a few minutes probably. Or not. Caretaker’s used to them being completely off the radar when they go on walks.

Suddenly, their music cuts off. Whumpee scowls and digs their phone out of their pocket, trying to unpause it. Their headphones are dead. That definitely takes a lot of the fun out of their walk. They should’ve been more responsible and charged their headphones.

With a sigh, Whumpee continues walking. Without their music, they’ll probably head back sooner than later. Just not yet.

And then they hear gunshots. Probably not a big deal, there are hunters in the woods, and Whumpee is wearing their bright yellow sweater that Caretaker always makes them wear in the woods during hunting season.

Still, it sounds kind of close. There’s only about two gunshots and then the sound cuts out.

A tiny prick of unease goes up Whumpee’s spine.

Maybe they should go home. But it’s such a nice day out and they don’t wanna.

hello!! took me a few minutes to decide what to do, but have a part of a scene from my WIP!! (under the cut)

Eight freezes. She didn’t mean to flinch.

Jinx slowly drops her hand. “..okay, yeah, I deserve that,” she says quietly. She hesitates. “I- I was hoping it wouldn’t come up—but I guess that’s not really fair to you.”

Eight can feel her heart pounding in her chest as Jinx speaks. Did she fuck up by flinching? She didn’t mean to make Jinx upset.

Jinx wrings her hands. “..I’m not a good person,” she says, quietly. The usual confidence is gone from her demeanor, and it’s a little unsettling. Without it she looks smaller. “..I’m pretty bad, actually.” She takes a deep breath as she continues. “I do bad things, and I hurt people, and I don’t say sorry. This- this isn’t what I’m used to. The loops have been going on for a long time, and.. and I’ve failed every single friend I’ve ever had.”
