Witcher Pokemon Trainer Au
Spawned from the image of Horse Girl Geralt™ surrounded by horse themed pokemon.
The Witcher schools are Pokemon Sanctuaries for injured and abused pokemon. Professor Vesemir founded the Pokemon Sanctuaries with a group of friends when he was younger. As they got older the friends split off to open Sanctuaries in other parts of the world so they could reach more pokemon.
Geralt: Kaer Morhen Pokemon Sanctuary Trainer. He travels around rescuing abused or injured pokemon. His specialty is dealing with the really weird cases.
Nicknamed the White Wolf (because people have compared his skill in tracking down injured pokemon to a wolf hunting prey). Does not have any wolf themed pokemon. They are all horse themed. Except the jigglypuff. The Jigglypuff pulled a Jaskier and started following him one day then just never left.

Jaskier: Musician from the Kerak Coast. After he met Geralt he does work for Kaer Morhen, offering them free advertising while he travels around with Geralt.
Most of Jaskiers pokemon chose to follow him around without being caught in a pokeball. Hes only ever actually caught the ditto, and he thought it was a chikorita at the time.

Yennefer: Researcher/Pokemon Healer from the Aedirn Region. Works for Kaer Morhen. She was offered the job after helping Geralt and Jaskier heal Jaskier's hurt Meloetta.
She had just left a job at the Artuza Science Institute. Sick of being denied the grants that would allow her to focus her research into healing rare and endangered pokemon.

Ciri: Trainee of Kaer Morhen. She is originally from the Cintra Region. Her mother was good friends with Geralt. When Pavetta realized how dangerous Emhyr was she sent Ciri off to live with Geralt.
Xerneas formed a bond with Ciri when she was a baby. Her father really wants to get his hands on the pokemon.

He does Pokemon PSA videos. And gives lectures to future trainers on how to properly care for their pokemon and what to do if finding an injured pokemon in the wild.

Nilfgaard is like a Team Rocket type org only like 100 times worse. The Church of the Eternal Flame and Emhyrs ultimate goal is to take over the world. Hes trying to find pokemon that will help him accomplish that goal.
Geralt and the other witchers thwart him at every turn by simply doing their job and relocating or taking in pokemon that hes trying to capture.

man, narrating in russian: Every fucking year, this time of the year, the pond at my backyard gets infested. What do ponds get infested with? Frogs? Poisonous weeds? Geese? No. Not my pond.
[The man opens the back door, stepping out into a garden. Three or four nude, human-like figures dash from the borders of a pond back into the water.]
man: Rusalki! I don't know where they come from or how they get here, and I can't afford to hire an exterminator every year. I can't let my cat outside anymore. Last year a rusalka managed to drown a whole deer in my pond, the stench was unbearable.
[He walks as he speaks, approaching the pond. There are several eerily beautiful female beings peering at him from under the surface, their long hair floating in the murky water. Their eyes are gleaming in an unhuman way. The man holding the camera stops to film them.]
man, calm and deadpan: What the fuck are all of you staring at. Get jobs or something.
[One of the rusalki, smaller than the others and clearly not a fully matured adult, slowly reaches out of the water with her white, thin hand, grasping his ankle. He appears unconcerned.]
man: You can't drown me, you little idiot. You're too small. Shoo!
[A loud thud startles the rusalki, making them scatter. A second thud makes it clear these are the approaching footsteps of something massive. The man turns around and points the camera at what appears to be a house, walking past above the treeline with chicken-like legs]
man, now yelling: IF YOUR HOUSE SHITS ON MY YARD AGAIN I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD-

Geralt is the spirit of winter. He brings death and sickness wherever he goes. He understands when the people in towns shun him and cower in fear rather than greeting such a powerful being. He's just kind of... Grown used to the hatred. The fear. Humans don't like him. He is nothing but death. A killer. It's near the end of his time, this year. The seasons will change and he can stop tormenting the poor humans. He doesn't like his job, but it's the only job he can do. The world needs winter. Just like how the world needs spring. But spring just... Isn't coming. Where is the spring spirit? Thus the spirit of winter goes on a journey atop his trusted mare to find the lost spirit of spring, only to come across him captured by idiotic humans and on the edge of life. Winter defeats the villains and brings the spirit of spring back to his own home to watch over him as he heals. When the spirit of spring, Jaskier, comes to, Geralt finds it hard to dislike him. No wonder the humans love spring so much. It's bringer sings nearly all words and soothes with every move he makes. Geralt is sure the spirit of spring could never even grow to like him, let alone love him. This becomes a problem, because Geralt is growing head over heels with Spring's Spirit as he hosts his convalescence.
♡!Optional addons!♡ • Jaskier has always looked up to the spirit of winter, and has just been afraid to introduce himself (perhaps even already having made songs about him)
• Maybe instead of just normal humans, perhaps Jaskier was kidnapped by mages
• Perhaps we could also meet the spirits of autumn and summer. Eskel and Lambert? Yen and Ciri? Triss?
• Geralt is afraid to touch Jaskier in fear of making his flowers and goodness and warmth die (Jaskier wants nothing more than for Geralt to touch him)
A small piece of the Avatrice Witcher AU: Pt. 2
"So, this is the famous Gray Eagle," a sweet voice behind her back says, and Beatrice turns around.
She's neither careless, nor unaware that she's been watched. Her witcher medallion, a silver eagle head resting against her chest, has been vibrating for a while, indicating extraordinary magic presence in the ordinary village inn.
"I am not sure fame is something witchers would crave or deserve," she replies and meets the eyes of the young woman in front of her.
She's beautiful, Beatrice concludes. Even if the Trial of the Grasses rids witchers of emotions, they are still able to spot aesthetic wonders. And appreciate them.
"The famous Ava Silva, I presume?" she asks, to which the sorceress smiles brightly and offers her a hand.
When Beatrice shakes it, her skin tingles pleasantly. Sometimes, magic does that to her. Even though it doesn't explain why her breath hitches and her cheeks warm up now.
"Do you really deem me worthy of fame, Beatrice?" the sorceress asks playfully. "Because I cannot deny a small craving."
Beatrice notices that the corner of the woman's mouth has risen.
She realizes they're still holding hands.
But she doesn't mirror the smile. In fact, she makes sure not to move a muscle in her face when she says: "I don't think my opinion on this matter is worth your consideration."
To which, and damn her three times, Ava Silva frowns and her dark eyes pierce Beatrice through. "I would argue about that," she says quietly and gently squeezes Beatrice's hand. Then, she lets go; although her eyes don't.
And for the first time since she remembers, Beatrice doesn't know what to say. Doesn't know how to escape those deep, dark eyes.
"Let's get to business," she says finally and leads them to a free table in the corner of the inn.
"The notice on the village board mentioned you're looking for someone to accompany you on your journey to Kaer Seren," she continues when they sit down. "Why do you wish to visit a witchers' keep?"
