I recently started "The Witcher Wild Hunt" (like the 30th of June and I have like 37hours something of game on it and I can tell a few things:

- Ciri babygirl I love you so stinking much🤍 - Triss & Geralt at the ball, with the fox and wolf masks and going through the maze, her being drunk and giggling, him catching her when she was about to fall- right here and there I knew I would not romance Yenn 🤣😭 Don't get me wrong I LOVE Yenn (prefer the Show! Yenn) but if I had to ship her with someone, it would be Jaskier instead cause the potential of those two drama queens together, the banter, AND the chemistry they showed in season 2 was off the charts ("that's my wife, please don't hurt her" sorry not sorry but shipping material right there) - Dandelion is the Goat - Vesemir could ask me to walk on burning charcoals on my bare feet while holding a sword over my head and I would do it. The amount of trust and love I have for this man- - Triss & Geralt's goodbyes had me in tears (cause I asked her to stay and replied to her with "I love you" and really thought I ruined the romance) BUT THEN I WAS HOWLING BECAUSE THE LIGHTHOUSE INCIDENT HAD ME IN SHAMBLES🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'll probably talk a bit more about it but rn I just wanna make a Witcher server and write some Triss/Geralt because I love this and I gotta make it my entire personality to cope with reality LMAO

Jaskier is a fucking creep

No one ever did as much for Jaskier as the Netflix show. Here are some things he does in the books:

- gropes a priestess at Melitele temple and when Nenneke gets angry at him, he tells her that she “just doesn’t have a sense of humor”

- stares at Yennefer when she was tied up, her clothes got ripped off her and she was being molested, even though she begged him not to look; he does not only stare, but makes sure she understands he does that because he’s angry at her (as a form of punishment and revenge); he also comments that she looks great and her skin is as smooth as a skin of a sixteen year old girl

- brags about cheating on his partners A LOT and treats it as a normal part of his relationships

- makes fun of anything women do a lot for someone who claims they like women

- groups attractive women into three groups: “very polite(/kind), polite(/kind), impolite(/unkind), and very impolite(/unkind)” based on how they reacted to a sex proposition; the very polite ones were those who reacted with “enthusiastic consent”, polite ones reacted with a “cheerful smile”, impolite ones reacted in a “hard to predict way”, the “very impolite” ones were those that you were scared to propose sex to.

- stares at a women Geralt was having sex with after he interrupted them even though she clearly tried to hide

- sexualizes every woman he sees

- his wish for the geenie was “[name] is a woman who doesn’t want to sleep with anyone... I want her to sleep with me” (it has a very different vibe from “I want my ex to take me back”)

- about a girl earlier described as “she couldn’t be older than eighteen”, says something along the lines of “what does Yennefer has that Essi doesn’t? Looks? I know she’s not the youngest, but at least she looks exactly her age” WTF JASKIER, YES, SHE IS IN FACT THE YOUNGEST, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU

- says “women don’t need money. what would they need it for? they don’t drink, they don’t dice and they are, god dammit, women themselves!”

- says “man was not created to be monogamous”

- says that mandrake is an aphrodisiac cause it can be used to “break girl’s resistance”

- there was a sentence in the book that said "only hedgehogs and women who'd climb a very tall tree were safe from Jaskier", i know it was supposed to mean he is a master seducer but in addition to his creepiness it just sounded really terrifying

I wouldn’t trust netflix Jaskier with a drink cause he would drink it, I wouldn’t trust game Jaskier with a drink cause he wouldn’t really watch it and I wouldn’t trust book Jaskier with a drink cause he would fucking spike it.

I'm Teddy and I'm helplessly in love with the witcher universe. I read the first two witcher books, played Witcher 3 and watched the series. I'm currently reading the third book, a ton of fanfiction, replaying Witcher 3 and I'm trying to play Witcher 2 (trying because my computers laging).

My favorite characters are the witchers (meaning Geralt, Lambert, Eskel, Vesemir and Ciri), Regis and Dettlaff, Emhyr and Mererid, Ivoreth, Olgierd and a few more

I ship a few straight ships, gay ones and polyamorous ships. But my all time OTP will always be Geralt x Regis haha
