I recently started "The Witcher Wild Hunt" (like the 30th of June and I have like 37hours something of game on it and I can tell a few things:

- Ciri babygirl I love you so stinking much🤍 - Triss & Geralt at the ball, with the fox and wolf masks and going through the maze, her being drunk and giggling, him catching her when she was about to fall- right here and there I knew I would not romance Yenn 🤣😭 Don't get me wrong I LOVE Yenn (prefer the Show! Yenn) but if I had to ship her with someone, it would be Jaskier instead cause the potential of those two drama queens together, the banter, AND the chemistry they showed in season 2 was off the charts ("that's my wife, please don't hurt her" sorry not sorry but shipping material right there) - Dandelion is the Goat - Vesemir could ask me to walk on burning charcoals on my bare feet while holding a sword over my head and I would do it. The amount of trust and love I have for this man- - Triss & Geralt's goodbyes had me in tears (cause I asked her to stay and replied to her with "I love you" and really thought I ruined the romance) BUT THEN I WAS HOWLING BECAUSE THE LIGHTHOUSE INCIDENT HAD ME IN SHAMBLES🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'll probably talk a bit more about it but rn I just wanna make a Witcher server and write some Triss/Geralt because I love this and I gotta make it my entire personality to cope with reality LMAO

Here is something I think Witcher folks should think about more:

Centaur Geralt

Do you guys realize,,, how fucking happy that man would be. Like oh fuck my dad is dead and my mother abandoned me but hey! Half horse! Oh no Witcher mutations aaaaaaaaaaah… still half horse. It’d be his saving grace. Also, he’d still keep Roach while on the path. Not because he needs her as a steed, but as companionship, since horses are herd animals. Vesemir not knowing if he should get a young Geralt a horse since,, he is a centaur. But then seeing how much more relaxed Geralt is while standing next to the actual horses and he just, “Geralt do you want an emotional support horse?”

The glamor hiding his true appearance but not his strength. Going to kick open a door because his hands are full and winding up kicking it off it’s hinges and across the room. When he’s partially distracted he still does it. The first time he does it in front of Jaskier he’s like aw fuck.

Jaskier: WHAT THE FUCK?

Geralt: horse strength

Jaskier: ??? Did A past Roach possess you??

Geralt realizing Jaskier doesn’t know he’s a centaur: uhhhhhhhhhh i have a secret for you!

Instead of leaning his bedrolls under trees he just places his up against Geralt and demands he unveils himself. Unluckily for Jaskier this means his hand sometimes gets crushed under Geralt’s front leg. Geralt always grumbling in the morning because the ground gets his legs and stomach all dirty and if any of you have ever had to bathe a gray or white horse, or really just one with a very light coat, you will understand the pain, of trying to make them clean. It’s so fucking tedious.

I can imagine the dismay of whenever Kaer Morhen would get muddy from rain and Vesemir watches in despair as little Geralt slips in the mud from chasing Lambert RIGHT after Ves helped him get perfect and shiny. Geralt tracking mud into the main hall, his hindquarters are caked in mud. Vesemir wants to rip his hair out for letting Geralt grow his feathers out. His tail is a mess and Ves gives up.

When Jaskier finally goes to Kaer Morhen Vesemir gives him a hug and just says “you know my pain.”

Jaskier instantly understands.

The worst part is that, if you own or have been near horses, they are essentially overgrown dogs that can also accidentally kill you. Alike dogs, they roll. A lot. Whether it’s to self sooth or if it’s purely out of enjoyment.

If you know kids, you know that they imitate their parents or other important figures.

Basically what I’m saying is that Geralt unknowingly teaches Ciri his ways and, being a centaur, finds no problem with it. Yennefer is furious on the other hand.

Maybe if I was prettier. Or maybe if I was more horrifying actually

Posting a a little today but really like the whole bit the boys have over calling Vesemir old. They all just collectively agree “old man old man”

It’s even funnier when notw makes vesemir only 70, or really 60 something years older than them since they’re around 4-8 age group. And he only looks like he’s in his 20s-early thirties. I’m sure Lambert started it. One day he just asks “why are you so old?” And Vesemir is left shocked. He’s not that old!!! But then when they get back to Kaer Morhen and the boys are a bit older Geralt finally gets to ask all his questions about Kaer Morhen he couldn’t ask before.

“How old is Kaer Morhen?”

“I don’t know Geralt. Old.”

“Are you older than Kaer Morhen or as old?”

Vesemir throws his boots at him. Then that’s when the whole “*insert item* is almost as old as Vesemir!”

HE HATES IT.

When Ciri finally joins them, Lambert immediately teaches her the bit. She is RUTHLESS with her insults. Vesemir is giving her a history lesson in the courtyard since it’s nice out. The boys are fixing one of the walls in the background. He’s telling her about a war that happened around 600 years ago.

“Do you remember what it was like in that time? Since you were there?” Vesemir wants to crawl into a hole and die in it. The boys are basically toppled over in laughter. Lambert starts choking from laughing too hard. Ciri seems extremely pleased with herself.

It starts evolving further into “oh you wanna know about the conjunction of spheres? Oh I dunno, ask Vesemir he was there since before the conjunction.” And “what was it like when dinosaurs were alive, Vesemir?”

AND IT SOMEHOW SPREADS. He’s in a growing town in southern Redania with Geralt and they run into Jaskier. Now he’s never had the fortune of meeting him, but he’s heard plenty. He’s about to thank the poet for looking after Geralt until Jaskier goes “so I’ve heard you’re quite old! Tell me Master Vesemir, what was it like when kingdoms started to form? How did the royal families come to be in power?”

Vesemir is SEETHING. Geralt just smiles like the little shit he is.

Okay... at first I thought there was a mistake and this question was for someone whose blog simply has a similar name. however, after I received the second question... oh..

To answer your question: honestly? I think nothing. I had to prepare a bit and asked my friends who are fans of the universe. most of them haven't even heard of this ship, and the rest who have met it before have a rather ambivalent attitude towards it.

not sure if you also follow marvel, but seeing as MCU *also* has a conjunction event, what would happen if the Witchers wound up on their earth (or anywhere else in the MCU for that matter?)

This is a good question!! Ngl, when I first saw this, I thought of Yennefer meeting Black Widow and kinda got really excited about that idea, but also Yen meeting Scarlet Witch is something too.

My mind wonders to Lambert second, and no I don’t really understand yet how his character is/works, like his personality, so not much comes to mind instead or maybe Rocket, or Loki. I personally feel like he’d make good jokes with Rocket, and I’m not totally 100% sure why Loki??? It’s probably because I kinda see his relationship with Geralt seem like how Thor and Loki are? oddly?? Like one of them is totally furious kitty, while the other one is like “he’s adopted guys”.

Along with Thor, Geralt also likes to talk to Hawkeye, purely because I once heard Geralt likes crossbows, he may also like Captain America because wasn’t he like, pumped with a super-solider serum ??? and then brought to a strange modern arc in the future at sometime ??? they probably help each other out with adjusting, also Steve saying Geralt isn’t a monster and helping him is kinda really soft to think about.

oh buddy do I have Eskel hc’s for you, I totally want to think he gets along well with Doctor Strange, magic???? it’s not realistic, because poor boy couldn’t comprehend, but this is fiction. I also bet he likes Bucky, cause he likes his hair (and cool arm).

okay, Jaskier. My first thought was Spiderman? but you gotta remember Jaskier isn’t young no more, he’s like 40, spidy is baby. it is a cool idea though. So I kept thinking, and I like the idea of him and Ironman getting along, both having a sharp tongue, I bet they can talk and talk for hours.

for Ciri, I really like her and Captain Marvel to get along, oh my gosh, I think it’s a click right at the beginning. Ciri does get fly rides, and!! I also think she’d get along with The Hulk, she’s curious, he’s willing to answer questions.

for Vesemir? I totally think he sits back with Odin, Vesemir is just surprised to see this. I do think they’d do old people things together.

Yennefer: I already can’t tell who’s who.

Ciri: Jask, get in here and settle this!!

Geralt: don’t call your father Jask.

Jaskier: what? ohh! hey!! woah, travel sized Geralt, awww!

Geralt: Jaskier, you’re encouraging her.

Dara: I need the bathroo- oh wow, this is confusing.

Geralt: no, it’s not.

Ciri: *Geralt impression* you’re my family and I love you but you’re terrible, you’re all terrible!!

Geralt: I don’t say that.

Yennefer: that’s all you say.

What if Eskel was that uncle that was weird but everyone loves. Like Ciri had been completely fooled by the polite smile and manners, she once saw Eskel waving to his own imaginary crowd and swan dive onto Lambert, wrestle around a little bit and then threw him. He totally cheered himself on too.

Or she’s probably also seen Eskel in his trousers being followed by goats, his hair also has many tiny ponytails, and whenever one of his beloved goats yelled at him he just nods solemnly, “Yeah, I understand” or “oh I totally get it” are some of his answers to them.

I also would love to see the sibling rivalary between Geralt and Eskel, because Geralt maybe had told Ciri about how close him and Eskel are, so when she’s expecting to see them clap shoulders and share a brotherly moment, and not expecting to see Eskel walk up to Geralt and put a fishing hook in his cloak and begin running as fast as he could away from the others, well she’s very very surprised.

That but also some soft Eskel, like maybe the first few winters staying at Kaer Morhen, Ciri has some long lasting night terrors sometimes and if Geralt isn’t around, Eskel will scoop her up and hold her tightly against him to try and calm her back to sleep. He’ll read to her, softly sing songs his mother used to sing under his breath to Ciri, whatever she needs that he can give to her. He admits that seeing her cry like that reminds him of Geralt when they were younger, except now he can do stuff about it.

Idk, give me chaotic yet soft uncle Eskel, this man is bananas (b-a-n-a-n-a-s) and if you mix that with some soft stuff, it’s like the perfect smoothy.
