I Mean, Arent We All A Little Mad In This World?
I mean, aren’t we all a little mad in this world?
We’re all a little desperate about something. About passions, dreams, people. We’re all eagerly searching for something—an answer, a fate, a purpose. We’re all a little lonely. We all have regrets, we all look back sometime in our past and wish life’s the same as that. We’re all a little angry at people. People who don’t care, people who don’t listen. People who can’t feel, people who don’t understand. We’re all a little lost. We all get confused at times if we’re where we should be. If we’re doing enough, if we’re giving the world enough.
No one is nothing but happy in this world. We’re all a mixture of all happy and sad parts and we all have days where either of the parts overcomes the other.
Aren’t we all doing our best to survive? No one is 100% okay of where he/she is. We’re all trying our best and holding on to that little hope we have that the tables will turn and life will be better than it is now.

There are days in your life where the sky is gray and will stay like that for a while. Sometimes not just gray, sometimes it turns deep deep indigo and rain on you until you find yourself drowning.
But I want you to remember that if there are no gray skies, you won’t know how clear skies feel. If it doesn’t rain for quite a long while you won’t appreciate the sun when it shows up. If you haven’t felt lonely for sometime, you won’t be able to differentiate the feeling to being happy. If you haven’t seen the view from below, you won’t appreciate the view from the top. I want you to remember that if there are no bad days, good days will not feel good at all.
You can’t run away from gray skies; but really, you don’t have to. Bad days are inevitable because they are necessary. They are the ones that teach our hearts to appreciate the good when it finally comes—no matter how little.

Forgive me for the days I disappear without a warning.
For the days I leave your message on read or I don’t open it at all. For the days I couldn’t answer calls or at least let it ring. For the days I seem okay but the next day I can’t be reached. Forgive me for the catch-ups I miss. For the greetings I couldn’t send. For the days I’m too exhausted to even show up. Forgive me for the times when I say I’m busy but I lay in my bed all day.
Forgive me for the days I can’t tell what’s wrong but I act like there is. If sometimes I seem like I cut you off or I don’t care anymore. For the times I seem selfish enough to disappear without a clue and leave everyone wondering.
Forgive me. There are just days where I have to shut everything out in order to regain myself.
