Every time a perisex trans person tries to appeal to a bigot by saying something like "Sex is binary, but gender is a spectrum", an intersex angel weeps.

i'm resposting this because i think it can be really helpful in case you're questioniong rather or not you're aspec or if you're questioning what type of attraction you're feeling :)

if you're apl or aplspec, i just gotta tell you that you're cool as fuck!

on one hand it's really nice that more people are learning about Aplatonic people and are being inclusive of them in their aspec posts. i do feel happy knowing that more people are likely to know about it, and people are being accepting

on the other had i really wish that more posts at the top of the tag were SPECIFICALLY about Aplatonisism. rather than most of the top posts being about A-spec identities in general

If a trans girl tells you that she wants to start dressing more femme and your response is "but you're conforming to gender stereotypes" then she is entitled to punch you in the face as hard as she wants

"we need more weird queers!!"

you start parroting TERF talking points the milisecond someone says they are a lesboy or gaygirl

you cry when mspec lesbians/gays exist

you refuse to use neopronouns or it/its, even when those are a persons only set of pronouns

you expect a-specs to experience attraction in some way (yes, that includes platonic attraction)

you exclude intersex people

you can't even accept furries.
