I will bite for multiple reasons (and I have rabies)

It/its/ze/hir/they/them/cor/corpse/haunt/haunts/hallow/hallows/rot/rots/hell/hells (any pronouns are fine, however. ask which nounself sets are okay, I tend to lean away from sets like bun/buns). Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. Misandry Is Men Getting Laughed At When They Come Out About Being Sexually Or Physically Abused. Misandry

Misandry is men getting laughed at when they come out about being sexually or physically abused. Misandry is the suicide rates of men, and the normalization of telling men to just deal with their problems, to 'man up' whenever they have issues. Misandry is the generalization that men are all aggressive and dangerous. Misandry is painting testosterone as a poison. Transandrophobia is the demonization of masculine trans men and mascs, telling them that T will ruin their body, that bottom surgery is disgusting. Transandrophobia is shoving the words 'male privilege' down a trans man's throat when they dare speak up about the harmful way we are treated in the community. Transandrophobia is the erasure of our issues, of our deaths, of our oppression. It's treating being transmasculine as so much easier than being transfeminine. It's making fun of a trans guy's voice, pointing out their chest as an excuse to misgender them, simultaneous expectations of masculinity and femininity (if you stopped being so masculine then people wouldn't be afraid of you! oh but not like that, now you just look like a woman so your manhood isn't valid). It's infantilization, and demonization of those who cannot be infantilized.

"I support trans people!" quick, are you normal about the concept of transandrophobia? Do you think it's just 'white men trying to be oppressed'? Do you brush it off as merely misdirected transmisogyny? Do you scoff at the struggles of trans men and go 'but trans women have it worse! talk to a trans woman and see how bad THEY have it!'?

Do you use a trans man's chest size as an excuse for constant misgendering? Do you hold transmasculine people to a standard of needing to be feminine so to not scare the women, but proceed to not take their gender seriously if they do perform femininity? Do you use your horribly veiled misandry as an excuse to make trans men feel unsafe in queer spaces?

Are you normal about AFAB transfems and AMAB transmascs? Intersex trans people? GNC trans people? Trans people who use xenogenders? Trans people who use it/its or other neopronouns? She/her transmascs and he/him transfems? Can you acknowledge that, sometimes, people are simultaneously transmasc and transfem? Do you accept transmasc women, transfem men, etc?

Do you invalidate the identities of trans women who have beards, or present 'masculinely'? Do you see them as predatory posers? Do you go out of your way to misgender trans women who happen to actually be predators, because 'clearly they were just men'? Do you shame trans women for exploring their sexuality?

Are autistic trans people not able to make decisions on their own transition, as far as you're concerned? Are our ways of expressing and seeing gender 'stupid' to you? Is the concept of autigender too 'insane' to you? Do you see our gender identities as simply jokes?

Can you survive being around a trans man lesbian or a veldian (link) trans woman? Can you support a multigender person who is both gay AND lesbian? Can you include transmasculine nonbinary people in your 'support' of nonbinary lesbians?

I've used the term 'conditional support' a few times, but it is very much conditional support if you explode over one trans person's identity, and then turn around and act all supportive of another's. If all it takes for you not to support a trans person is how they label their gender or sexuality, how they present, what their body looks like, etc, you are not supportive of trans people! Your 'support' is very limited and strict. You have one rigid idea of what trans people are 'supposed' to be, and anyone who deviates isn't valid or worthy, and that is NOT the kind of behavior an ally should exhibit. It is not the way you treat other trans people, and it is far from supportive.

to the people commenting and reblogging saying that while they don't understand some of the experiences listed they still support them, thank you. It means so much to see people be accepting of identities they don't understand, instead of screaming at me or other people for existing/supporting the existence of more obscure queer experiences. Your support means so much more than you realize. Again, thank you.

Give me more lesbians who date men too, who aren't MISERABLE and forcing themselves to do so because of compulsory heterosexuality. Give me more lesbians who ARE men: cis, trans, somewhere in between, both, neither. Give me gay men who also date women happily, who are women themselves to whatever extent. Give me queerplatonic relationships between a gay guy and a lesbian. Give me a lesbian and a gay guy who are friends with benefits. Give me multigender turigirls and lesboys. Give me an individual who is polyamorous and aroace, more gaybians, more nondysphoric trans people, more she/her guys and he/him women, more it/its and nounself users, more queer teens who go by Arson. I could go on and on, but to sum things up: give me the sides of the queer experience that are hidden even by other queer people. Show me the box breaking, the line crossing, the beautiful complexities that arise from being queer. Give me the 'cringy' identities. Give me the historical identities that people are trying to erase. Preserve what they're trying to snuff out.

Every time I see 'men DNI' I roll my eyes so hard. Imagine someone had 'women DNI', people would lose their shit lmfao. Like we're not children. Believe it or not, the 'opposite' gender won't give you cooties. Your treehouse won't be contaminated.

edit: I know men are just as immature as women with this, I know there are adults of any gender who still behave as children. I shouldn't have said 'imagine if men did this' because all people can focus on is that tiny bit and be like "BUT MEN DO IT TOO!!!111!11!1". Additionally, read the tags next time before thinking I'm a huge advocate for binary, nonlesbian men interacting with lesbian porn (though the fact that I support lesboys in general is enough to make the people screaming at me think I'm stupid anyway).
