Anakin and Obi-wan: *talking*
Ahsoka *running towards them*: "guys! guys! you'll never believe what happened!"
Anakin: "what is it?!, is something wrong?!"
Obi-wan: "it has anything to do with your face marks suddenly glowing?"
Ahsoka: "yes!, it was the weirdest shit ever!"
Anakin: "language"
Obi-wan: *already pinching the bridge of his nose* "what was it?"
Ahsoka: "okay, so, everything went weird when I got to the unknown regions, there was this weird planet where people could move rocks and fire, with their minds!, [...] And, without the spirits, the planet was dying, so the Avatar said that there wouldn't be more avatars if we didn't do something, so they gave Rabba, the spirit of light, to protect her and now she is connected to me and will follow me in my next reincarnations [...]"
*several hours later*
Anakin: "and all of this happened in the 3 hours you where outside?"
Ahsoka: *nods*
Obi-wan: *too old for this* "did you at least get the tea I asked for?"
Ahsoka: "I forgot, master"
Obi-wan: "of course" *collapses on chair and groans*
Based off this post
If I had a nickel for every time a character voiced by Jason Isaacs taunted the hero of a show with the genocide of their people in an episode directed by Dave Filoni I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but is weird it happened twice
Line comparison (I had this realisation on like my 7th rewatch of Atla)
Two villains, both voiced by Jason Isaacs, taunting the captured hero about the death of their whole people.
Also both episodes were directed by Dave Filoni (10 years apart!). Atla s1e13 “The Blue Spirit” and Swr s1e14 “Fire Across the Galaxy”
It felt cheap to just repost the clips so here have my rendition of the scenes. Drawings under the cut

Forget about vampire Dick Grayson, we need vampire Duke Thomas.
Picture this:
The sun comes out in the morning and all the vampires that were fighting the main character turn to ash, as the vampire leader dies everyone cheers until...
*ominous chuckle*
Duke who looks like a black blob of darkness except his teeth: "bravo!, that was a great spectacle!" *whistles and claps while chuckling*
MC: *pales* "no, that's impossible!"
Duke: *beams* " it is, infact, very possible, my friend, but I thank you, however, for getting rid of this asshole *kicks the vampire leader's ashes*, thanks to you I don't have to kill them myself!" *beams*
MC: "no... no, no, NO!, you should be dead"
Duke: *evil laughter* "did you really, really, think that would kill me, I'm Duke fucking Thomas!, I am The!. Motherfucking!. Signal!, the sun is my bitch!... *his eyes start glowing red* and so will you in a moment"
MC: "kyaaaa!"

Darth Revan: uses mandalorian mask;
Darth Malak: has a replacement jaw that covers part of his face;
Darth Vader: uses life support mask;
Darth Nihilus: uses mask;
Darth Sion: his face is so disfigured you can't tell what his real face was like;
Darth Sidius: his face is so disfigured you can't tell his real face was like, and before that he used deceit to mask himself;
Darth Traya: used lies and betrayal to mask herself and her objective until the end.
Every sith wears a mask to hide their true, hurt and scared self: it represents their lies, the way they refuse to acknowledge themselves and how they hide their "weakness" and shame.
I can't put in words how much I love this detail and how it contrast with the Jedi who always have their faces out in the open.

Could you debunk the "jedi are slavers/have slave" argument people always seem to bring up in correlation with leading the clones? Thanks in advance ! <3
Of course!!!
Firstly, while the Kaminoans say that the clones were made for the Jedi, they are actually property of the Republic---which means that, since I would agree that they're slaves even if that wasn't GL's intent, the Republic would be considered the slavers, not the Jedi.
"Oh, but Jedi-Enthusiast, the Jedi are still slavers because they're forcing them into battle-" NOPE!
The thing is, even if the Jedi could refuse to fight in the war---which is a very complicated thing, both morally and politically---the Republic would still be sending the clones to fight the Separatists, only this time without the Jedi. And, as we've seen multiple times in TCW, more clones tend to die on missions without the Jedi's help---and that the Jedi are often shown saving their men from situations where they would otherwise die or be injured.
And, as much as I enjoy the trope of "the Jedi have limited experience actually running a war, so they struggle a bit and ask for help so the Jedi and clones get closer" because of the angst and fluff potential, in canon the Jedi are shown to be very good tacticians and they're rarely shown to struggle leading their men.
All of this to say that the Jedi leading the clones actually saves more lives, and that the Jedi not leading them would mean a lot more of them die...and idk about y'all, but I don't think- "more clones should die so the Jedi stay morally pure" -is the gotcha anti-Jedi morons think it is.
Not to mention that, if the Jedi didn't lead them, the job would go to people like Tarkin---y'know the man who criticized the Jedi for not being ruthless enough and caring for their men.
Are the Jedi put in a difficult position by leading the clones? Yes.
Is fighting in the war a morally grey decision? Yes.
But are the Jedi slavers or terrible in any way for doing what they did? Absolutely fucking not.

My first customs, for some reason Tumblr won't let me upload the first version, so I only can upload the fixed versions
Huge thanks to the people in r/custommagic who helped me fix it
What is it that people want from the Jedi tbh?
It seems no matter what they do people are angry about it and find a way to claim that they’re wrong and evil.
People will literally say 'the Jedi shouldn't have allowed palpatine to interfere that much and they should have taken some sort of precautions'. And then we see the Jedi ask Anakin to keep an eye on Palpatine, based on the fact that he is interfering too much within the Order and is unwilling to let go of his political power, and all of a sudden people are rioting, saying that they’re in the wrong and how could they? How could they ask one of their own to keep an eye on a politician who is potentially trying to destroy the very fabric of democracy and the republic and progress into a fascist dictator? Like, they are fully correct and valid in asking Anakin to do that and having these concerns.
Funnily enough, you don’t see people rioting over Palpatine climbing up the ranks and seizing (emergency) power (this should also remind you of ww2 history and therefore make you even angrier) or forcing Anakin onto the council to be his literal spy. No, that’s fine. But then the council not giving Anakin the rank of master — because why should they? Has he earned it? Is he patient enough? Is he able to let go? Has he mastered himself? No. He is in no way ready to take on the mantle as Jedi Master and anybody claiming differently is ignoring what it means to be a Jedi and that it’s not just about having stupid amount of power in the force to do as you please. —, now that is something worth being mad over once again.
And Anakin fully allowing Palpatine to create a bigger wedge between him and the Jedi, because he’s too blinded by his desires and arrogance to see or ask what exactly it is that he could still potentially work on, instead of viewing himself as the pinnacle of perfection already… I just fail to see how anything the Jedi Council did was 'unfair' or not 'right'.
Anakin simply not getting whatever he wants, is not unjust or wrong.
And people saying that if he had just gotten what he wanted, he would have never done the evil he did and killed all those people. Yeah, well you’re not supposed to go around killing and seizing power when you don’t get what you want, in general. So that’s a very bizarre take imo.

Revan's I made
Yes, I know they look nothing like the real Revan, but I did what I could
*The 501st is boarding the gunships after a battle*
Anakin: *sees something moving inside Fives's backpack*
Anakin: hey Fives, whatcha got there?
Fives, panicking: a smoothie, sir!
Gizka in the backpack: *happy gizka noises*
Ahsoka: what?
Anakin:
Anakin: I'm sorry Fives, but you can't keep pets, it's against the regulations
Fives: *sigh* I understand, sir, I will give it back
Gizka: *pokes head outside the backpack*
Ahsoka: aaw, it's so cute! can we keep it?
Anakin: pets are against the rules and, if I let Fives keep it, everyone will want one too, besides Obi-wan will have my head if I keep ignoring the rules, so no, sorry snips
Ahsoka: *sad puppy eyes*
Anakin: no is no, I'm sorry
Ahsoka: *elbows Fives*
Fives: *sad puppy eyes*
Anakin: *struggling* I will not yield
Every other clone in the gunship: *sad puppy eyes*
Anakin: no, I am a Jedi knight, I am stronger than this
Gizka: *copies everyone else*
Anakin: we can't keep pets
Everyone: *sad noises*
Anakin: however!
Everyone: *looks up*
Anakin: as the General, I CAN recruit republican citizens as officers in my legion
Everyone: *gasp*
Anakin: *looking at the gizka* congratulations on your promotion, lieutenant!
Everyone: *cheers*
...
Obi-wan in the Resolute's briefing room: Anakin, what is that?
Anakin: what is what, master?
Obi-wan: *points at the chair labeled 'Liutenant Cazul' where a gizka is sitting*
Anakin: that's Lieutenant Cazul, master
Obi-wan: *annoyed mom look* Anakin
Anakin: so... fun story, actually...
...
To this day Marshall Commander Cazul remains one of the most decorated veterans of the Clone Wars, and the most mysterious individual in the Imperial databases, nobody knows for sure who was Cazul before joining the 501st, how he looked, or where he went after his retirement, when the war ended, but his legacy lives on every Imperial cadet who grows up dreaming of being just like him.

There are way too many fanfics about Spider-man in Gotham, but there are none about Spider-man in Neo Gotham, and I think it's a shame
