DO NOT be like me and forget to back up your game for a few months, especially when you happen to be putting in serious work to creating your own save file. GET YOUR EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE AND SAVE IT ALL.
I couldn’t tell you if it was the For Rent updates because that time frame sure did screw with a lot of my game not loading and crashing and the app saying it was having unexpected problems. Maybe it was the hoards of CC I download to fulfill the dopamine rush of not paying for real clothing and furniture. Maybe, more than likely, it was not updating or incorrectly updating the magical mysterious ways Reddit has taught me to no longer waste money on bad packs while still owning them.
Either which way, I spent days trying to get the game to load and not crash within the first few minutes. That ALONE was literally a several day project.
Now I’m on project try to recover as many sims, lots, and mods that I can from all the old backups. Even with designated, very helpful apps, oh my god it is INSANE how time consuming it can be sorting.
In the beginning I tried to stay positive and look at it as a fun little chance to start over again while still trying to include my absolute favorites.
It’s no longer fun. I am burnt out. San Myshuno was a couple of lots and a few tweaks away from being complete. Now- gone. I’ve always loved Windenburg but it was one of the best versions I’ve ever seen or created or put together. The storylines, connections, the details. And PLEASE do not ask me about Cooperdale. The only world where I fully was committed to building every lot from scratch instead of downloading lots and sims I like and tweaking them to be more my style. Months spent on Copperdale- the backstory to each character and each family was so in depth and intertwined. They had years and years of stories and experiences.
All of that, yet not since the beginning of October did I last back my game up. Those backstories, lots, characters, relationships, all of it grew and all of it now only remains in my head and some word documents or brief note app comments.
Back your game up. Not just mods. Saves files and tray files. Do it often.
Meanwhile I’ll be over here trying to find any source of fire to keep me going, to try again, to do as great and better. Or I won’t. Or that’s that, maybe be back in a few months.
I hate this stupid game and how stupidly I’ve always loved it.
At Target this lady told her son he couldn’t have a Wonder Woman doll because “that’s for girls” and then bought her daughter the same one. It got me thinking about how often I see people bar young boys from appreciating girls/women as protagonists and heroes, and my own experience with it as a kid.

You know a show messed up with the penultimate episode was so much better than the finale.
With episode 15x19, although it wasn't exactly a happy ending, everything was left to interpretation and we knew that at least the two brothers were still alive. The two who were there when the show began, and they no longer have any major cosmic forces to face against.
The finale however, did not leave anything open to interpretation. Nor did it end in a satisfactory way. We know how everyone's stories really end, and characters are ignored and never brought up again.
I rather have 15x19 as the final episode instead of 15x20.
That last episode was a big slap in the face and I regret watching the show to have it end the way it did.

Summary: Undyne remembers a certain event.

She was standing alone. Completely still.
All except for the sparks of electricity surrounding her. This caught Undyne's attention. It was rare to find monsters with that magic in Waterfall. Electricity and water didn't usually mix well. She watched from a distance, narrowing her eye and feeling the weight of the garbage bag on her hand, fighting to fall down from her grip.
Suddenly, Undyne dropped the bag and sprinted. She stretched her arm, reaching for someone...
But she was gone. Undyne stared at the abyss of darkness in front of her. It was a long way down.
She woke up to a sudden noise. She felt the soft fabric of the bedsheets on her body, her hair tied in a loose ponytail and her left eye uncovered, her eyeptach left by the nightstand. She noticed the light leaking from the gap under the door. Turning around on the bed, she looked for her girlfriend, but only empty space filled the bed.
"Alphys?"
The sound of something heavy against a wooden table was heard. "Babe?" She heard steps coming closer. "Did I.. wake you?" Alphys stood by the doorframe, cleaning her glasses with the fabric of her shirt anxiously.
"Hero's never sleep!" She gave her girlfriend a toothy grin, but changed her tone for a calmer one. "Anyways, why are you up this late? I thought you didn't have any deadlines for tomorrow or anything."
"Oh- It's, not for my job! It's a... special... project."
"Did Mettaton ask for another upgrade for his body?" Undyne would have a serious talk with him if that was the case.
"No n-no, it's just... Something, to pass the time." Alphys's tail shifted nervously, slightly touching her partner's leg.
Undyne rubbed her right eye, as she got used to the light. She stared at the clock on the wall: 1:59 AM. She touched her girlfriend by her shoulder, and started drawing gentle circles with her fingers, comforting her.
"Well, how about we pass the time together?" She opened the door to their bedroom, inviting Alphys in. The yellow lizard left her tools on her workbench and followed Undyne, sighing in a mix of exhaustion and relief.
"It was a nightmare, again." Alphys muttered as she sat by her side of the bed.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"I don't... I don't know." After a brief silence, she continued. "I guess I, don't wanna let you down. Not that I... think you would jud- I mean, not that I don't think you would help. But I don't wanna stress you out."
"Hey, hey, it's OK. I'm always here, Alphys. We'll get through it together, Ok?" Undyne held her girlfriend's hand and squeezed it in reassurance.
She felt reassured by the touch too.
Minutes later, they both fell asleep, Undyne holding Alphys tightly.
She's here. She would still be when she opened her eyes again.

I went on their last show in brazil and had to go with my mom cause I was one year younger than the minimum age and all that jazz

When I was a child, I saw something that changed my mind about wasps forever. My dad was doing some cabin construction work and I was hanging out at the site. Some other guy had half-crushed a wasp with a hammer, but it was still alive. As I watched, a second wasp flew to its side, and stroked it -actually stroked it, with what I can I can only describe as tenderness - with its antennae until the injured wasp stopped moving and died. Then the second wasp flew away, and I did not see it again.
She was probably trying to communicate with her sister, probably trying to tell her to come back to the nest or share information about the area, and was very confused by the distorted responses she was getting, likely mixed with scent-based distress signals.
When the responses stopped, she probably went home and told the others to be on alert for danger :(
I’m not anthropomorphizing a bit here. Social wasps groom one another, share a LOT of information, get stressed when separated from their close relatives, and they recognize one another visually, like we humans do, by the fact that every single one has a unique face, even in the same “hive:”
