What if we were childhood boy best friends and i was this writer and you were this musician and I used my genre-awareness to attempt to mythologize you and make you a Folk Hero. And I commissioned a statue of you and had you lie on a bed of nails and attended your boxing match and you were supposed to be invulnerable but you lost. You lost. And then we had to sit there together, you bloody and half-dead, your girlfriend who I used to date, me, and the statue I commissioned of the hero you were supposed to be. And I was in love with you.

With my favorite ships or even just duos I’m more biased towards one character over the other. Like I like both of them fine but there’s always one character that I like by themself and the other I only really care about in relation to their pairing.
For example, Mishanks; I like Mihawk and will consume any kind of content about him but I only like content about Shanks in relation to the ship.
And it’s pretty much like that for all my ships. And I was wondering if this was a thing or how other people feel about this.

Zoro, Mihawk and Shanks all have such different swordfighting styles with Kendo being more Zoro's realm and with his Sabor Fencing is more Shanks.
