So I’ve just finished this Netflix series called One Day. I saw one tiktok about it and filed it away in the old noggin to watch later. Mainly bc the FMC was a WOC and all WOC deserve to be the main characters in a love story.
I will say, I am absolutely shattered. Actually sick right now. I won’t say what happens, or if it’s good or bad (bc I can be shattered in a good way). I will say you should watch it.
Each episode takes place on the same day which is July 15 starting in 1988 and ending in 2007. It’s 14 episodes long (one of the reasons why I ended up watching it bc everything is 7 episodes long now😒).
Anyway, I could say a lot, but I’ll leave it to you. I highly recommend.

Part 1 of shows I thought were fever dreams but are apparently not
A miss mallard mystery: was a show about a ducktective and her nephew travelling the world and solving crimes.
2. Tara Duncan: Tara and her friends, Cal the thief and Sparrow the princess who turns into a beast, are all a part of the Alpha team. They fight threats from the OtherWorld, while balancing the challenges of high school life.
3. Stoked: is a show about a group of surfers who meet one another at a resort whilst working there during the summer.

This and bapc are genuinely the best things I've EVER watched and that's not an understatement
It is filled with so many messages, lore, etc. And it's so bittersweet
The ending was IMMACULATE
I loved how we got to see all the characters at the end and everyone is so genuinely happy
Tilly and that guy are together <333
I love the pooka so freaking much
This was the best thing ever oh my god
The show is so meaningful in so many different ways
I love hildas grandparents and how they keep watching over hilda and them
I love the friend group so so much
I love Johanna so much too
And Victoria and literally every character ever
The fairy realm was so cool and I love the lore for it
I have so much to say but speechless at the same time
ALSO I ***ADORE*** THE DEERFOXES THEYRE MY FAVORITE THING EVER
I love that twigs parents still get to interact with him and the fight scene between the deerfoxes and mushroom things was sick
If you have been wanting to watch something new or need a sign to watch hilda, THIS IS IT

so i saw your post about wanting new content, and i h=gave you some suggestions, but they were off the top of my head, so here's a more in-depth list of tv shows.

and these are movies, but they're really good:
