He swallowed trying not to make noise as he watched Jaiden and Slime engage in their first round fight, throwing on their gas masks that fit perfectly in the already irritated lines on their faces. The red eyes and pure savage behavior of it all was unnerving. They looked insane, this island really did a number on them. Slime broke Jaidens shield first and she grunted falling backwards before kicking herself back up to lunge and swipe at her teammate.

Charlie laughed and taunted the other but it was in such an odd nature- they spoke with grunts, growls, howls and chirps and it was concerning. Jaidens swipe landed with a squish into an open wound, oddly calculated. As it made the wound gush with more blood, she pulled the splintering and bloodied weapon away from his body.

He growled in response that led with cheers from cellbit who egged them on. Charlie responded in quickly switching to a sword and going for her uncovered gut, only to be blocked by her shield again- he looked up to be met with eyes of determination behind those red lenses.

Como o nosso corpo foi configurado para ver apenas a materia nessa densidade, e a descrença generalizada do mundo de que não existe nada além da vida na carne, fica fácil impor a idéia de que somos únicos no Universo ou que há raças com mais tecnologias para tomar o nosso planeta.

Aqui é pior!!! Imagine, você tem povos primitivos que encontraram extraterrestres e que conviveram um tempo com os primitivos da terra. Aí, os extraterrestres molestaram as crianças e então, estes seres com naves de tecnologia para viajar pelo Universo, foram comidos pelos membros canibais. Não dá nem pra dizer que eram canibais, extraterrestres não são humanos e canibais são aqueles que comem seres da mesma espécie!

Alright, Here's a VERY Weird Thing About Demeter

Normally I'm a defender of her, purely because of how much demonized she was throughout the years. However, here's an aspect about her that I find really strange and I have to talk about it.

Cannibalism.

Out of all greek gods, she seems to have the strongest connection with cannibalism. Unfortunately, she inherited the worst part from her father.

First of all, she ate Pelops' shoulder. Now, we know that she was thinking about her daughter at that time and didn't realize that she was eating a human being until it was too late. Yet how do we know that she didn't like his taste?

Second of all, she cursed a mortal with eternal hunger, which ultimately made him eat himself to death. We know that she was provoked at that time and that Erysichthon was indeed an asshole for cutting her favorite tree. But out of all punishments, why cannibalism?

And last but not least, PIGS! Pink fluffy pigs! The pig is one of her sacred animals, and according to cannibals human meat tastes like pork. In fact, the taste is so similar that if you would have to eat human meat and then pork you couldn't tell the difference for the moment. Which proves... absolutely no shit, I just wanted to write this fun fact.
