Gravity Falls Theory - Tumblr Posts
I shall now throw my own hat into the Bill Cipher theory ring. I think that the reason Bill can see into the third dimension is his eye. It’s said several times that Euclidia is 2d and is thus perfectly flat. It’s safe to assume that the citizens are perfectly flat as well. Then we see Bill’s mugshot and the answer to “why can Bill see the third dimension” is basically given to us. I’m using the colorized version from the website for clarity.

His body is more or less two dimensional, I’m guessing the side edge is just for pose clarity, but his eye is clearly 3d. It sticks out from the rest of his body, like it’s not supposed to be there, like it’s a mutation. They even remark on his “strange eye” in the lullaby and Bill specifically goes to an eye doctor as a child. I think Bill Cipher can see into the third dimension because his eye is three dimensional.
Theory Time 🕘
Oh, Christmas tree....🌲
This theory is mine, without any inspiration, any kind of similarities is accidentaly. But feel free to use it/reblog, but please, tag me!
Sorry, guys, I know I'm late for Christmas, but look at that place where it "was"..... What is there? Right 😁
So, I brought you a Gravity Fallst Theory, wich is new here, but..... Everything have to start somewhere....

1. So, maybe it's oblivious (but please, forgive me I'm a Hungarian, I watched the seria mostly in Hungarian) but think it over; Bill sometimes calles Dipper to "Pinetree" because of the logo on his cap
2. But the funny thing; actually Dipper's family name is "Pines", wich of course could be a slang term for "Pinetrees"
3. You think that's all? Oh, no my dears; actually Gravity Falls (mainly) playing in a pine forest, it can be seen during the opening.....

4. I don't know too much about pine forests, but in hungary, they are rare and some of them dangered, and as far as I know, they are rarely grow in other erias too (except their natural habitat, the taiga)
5. And Bill Cheaper couldn't leave Gravity Falls, because it's "strange aura"
🌲🌟
So, taking the conclusion; it's possible, the power, what stopped Bill to rule the world was the forest itself. Maybe it would be more effective to destroye it insted of try to destroy the "strange forcefield".

But you know the saying; He couldn't see the forest from the tree.....
🐷
🐷
🐷
Bonus content:
Sometimes mushrooms appear around pinetrees, it called "Fairy Ring". According of the folklore, who steps in, can see the elfes magical wolrd, but never ever can leave it
In the unaired pilot episode (it was closly the same as S1E1) was actually a little difference; Dipper's hat was given by his parent and wasn't taken away by gnomes. But in the seria he originally got a brown hat with a star on it and (after a gnome took away) choosed the classical one in his gruncle's store

In the opening, there's a moment where you can see the Big foot for a moment (I only stopped the video in the right time.....😁)

It isn't edited by me but you have to be very trickey to catch the sasquatch (you can check it 😉)
"weirdmageddon" edition it turned into a small walking pinetree (not joke 😂)

Ok, theory time losers. I feel like a few people have probably pointed this out before but anyway here goes. At the end of amphibia, a grown up sprig and ivy mention the discovery of a new continent. And through multiple views it's been confirmed that a few Disney animated shows belong to a larger connected universe. So, what if the continent mentioned by ivy is the boiling isles? It would explain the fact that some creatures can do magic, as well as the stones. Also, one of the oldest and wisest species in amphibia are the Olms, which are similar to axolotls, at least in appearance. And who is the wise creature trying to help fucking bill cypher heal from a shitton of trauma? A fucking axolotl. I realize that the fact that GF, amphibia and OH have already been confirmed to be connected, but all the implications of said connections are devouring all my attention and God if fucking love these people
Since Gravity Falls is trending right now it'd like to share some of my.. Heh... Theories 😎👆... (PLEASE TAKE NOTE AT THE FACT I AM YET TO READ THE NEWEST BOOK)
1) Considering Bill has a specific pull towards people/aliens that are considered odd for their general reckoned biology, I say Bill was outcasted via this reason too. Weither or not that means something dimensional (like living in the third dimension whilst being in a second dimension(a), or simply a wonky eye(b))
A. Bill mentions that living in the second dimension he was stuck on the x axis, but, how did he see a world above him if there wasn't one?
B. Being in a 2D world with an eye facing towards the sky is far from efficient. I feel that's all I need to say on that.
2) Bill is not gone, we know this because of the Axolotl. I don't find it hard to believe someone isn't going to "accidentally" open the portal and somehow unleash the guy. Bill is immortal, in my view.
3) I kinda made 2 up on the spot because I forgot what my other points were going to be, so until I remember to take this for now. :).
I have a theory about the end of Gravity Falls!
I’ve just rewatched the full series and if I’m right, this could be the one thing remaining that could save Gravity Falls in the event of a disaster.
Spoilers, obviously:
What if the cipher wheel didn’t work, not because of Stanley’s stubbornness, but because it was put together incorrectly? Maybe Stanley is the glasses, Soos is the fez, and Melody is the question mark. At the very end, she’s wearing a question mark shirt while helping Soos run the Shack. Soos now has the fez, and Stanley has always had the glasses. If that’s true, the wheel could still be the only thing to defeat Bill, if/when he inevitably returns.
I bet someone else has had this theory first, this is the Gravity Falls fandom, but what do y’all think?
Book of Bill translated code pieces. One type of code translated in every part of the book I could find. With what we know of the cipher drawn out (badly).
Spoilers for the Book of Bill below:
This is everything I could gather of the new symbol code, except of course the RECENT INPATIENTS TO WARD 333 page.
Inside cover reads: Even his lies are lies
What is a Human? page reads: My optometrist never saw it coming
The Shaman page reads: Which henchmaniac ratted me out
My Muse & Me page reads: If lost return to Bill
STAAANLLLEEEEYYYY page 3 (bottom text) reads: axolotllotaxolotllotlaxlotlaxloTLaxolotlloylaxlotlaxloTLaxolotllotlaxlotlaxl
Incomplete Cipher for the new code:

Theory: Bill Cipher probably ate his Parallel Dimension Twin

Or should I have done an Earl of Lemongrab meme? Okay, jokes and japes aside I feel this has some real merit behind it, that I'll leave under the cut.
---
There's a lot of good ideas going around with how exactly Bill destroyed his dimension, but my personal pet theory is that he made contact with his parallel universe twin. Specifically, he consumed him. The evidence of what can happen when parallel universe copies make contact with each other is described in journal 3 by Alternate McGucket:

"As soon as they touched hands, the entire dimension began to warp and fizz with static ... In fact, that whole dimension has ceased to exist."
Time and time again, Bill is associated with static. In his "blood", attempts by the government to vivisect him, his memories of the event, his therapy notes, and depictions of his parents.

We know his goal with what ended up becoming the Euclydian Massacre was to "show everyone what they were missing," and it was enough to destabilize and destroy everything.
How'd he pull it off? I'm thinking he built a dimensional portal of his own, but honestly in this show anthyding can hadplen. It would definitely explain where the portal idea came from in the first place.
But why do I think he consumed his twin? It's all these very suspicious comments he keeps making to Ford specifically...

"How about that; you've got an inferior clone! Why didn't you just eat him in the womb? Think of how powerful you'd be!" "You can't just eat your twin, Bill." "You'd be surprised what you can eat."
And in the microscopically rare moment of honesty where he admits to himself that he's a monster, even if Ford isn't aware Bill's talking about himself yet, he follows up Ford's offer for revenge with, "It would eat you alive." You'd be surprised what you can eat.
And it's not like he hasn't consumed others after, as the page in the Book of Bill on the topic of Human skin, there's a desperate note at the bottom from a Grembley Hemberdrek of Zimtrex 9, who Bill devoured trillions of years ago and who's soul has been trapped inside forever after, tortured with "Good Vibrations" by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch on an endless loop. Who's to say his parallel twin isn't in there too?
It's very possible that his ultimate goal, aside from getting revenge, opening his world's eyes to the third dimension, and the sweet sweet high of proving everyone wrong was ultimately to find a better world, consume his "inferior twin" and take over his identity in his dimension. Thematically, it would also cement his status as Stanley's dark foil, who also took over and stole his twin's identity leading to a better life, albeit for much nobler reasons.
Additionally, on top of the practical reasons for taking over Earth, choosing Ford had that bonus that he wouldn't be alone by molding Ford in his image. It's why he kept giving him so many chances to join him. By setting him up to destroy his world, betray his twin, and become monsters together, he'd finally have a companion who's exactly like him. Only fitting for the Multiverse's ultimate narcissist, isn't it?

Anyway, if you read this far, thanks! This is only a theory and tbh I'm probably going to be proven wrong in time but hey!

I mean, what else is 2 Dimensional, has stubby arms and legs, and is also insatiable with power?
Why Eda and Stan Couldn’t have Been Married
I know everyone likes to believe this, but I debunked it pretty quick.
Owl House takes place somewhere on the lines of 2020-2022, I personally think 2022.
Gravity Falls takes place at the latest 2012, when the show came out.
In Gravity Falls, Stan says he was married for a day 30 years ago.
In TOH Eda is around 45, that is the age I will be using. Now, Eda was 45 in 2022 - 10 years = 35 in 2012. Now if you take 30 years away from that, you’ll see that she would have been 5 when Stan got married. And Eda didn’t find the portal until she was about 14. So, therefore the two of them could not have been married.
Hey Gravity Falls theory-
we all know the one we've all basically accepted as "canon", where the fact that Grunkle Stan, got memory wiped to get rid of Bill Cipher and then Bill was "defeated", then the kids got grunkle stans memory back- therefore meaning that Bill would be "alive"
but what if the kids didn't do it and it was Bill, "invoking the ancient axolotl so that he may return", making sure that he would come back that opened the door for grunkle stan to regain his memory.
