As a male, it was easy to get into things as a male Omega now; that is an everyday battle. You are part of that one percent of male Omega's where some things do not coordinate with your body. It wasn't a problem to you, no, not at all, but it was a secret you would rather keep from everyone, especially from your bandmates.
Originally you were in a group that never debuted. Later on, in your idol journey, you had the opportunity to join a group in their debut named KARD. You are the maknae of the group being a '98 liner. The idea of representing cards was cool, but that was until you were left with the 'Queen' position. It did not bother you, but the media was having a ball making fun of a male representing a feminine card.

You come from a mixed family, your mother from Australia and your father from Korea. Growing up, your parent always told you that if you were going to do something in life, do it to the fullest. So you started learning skills like dancing, playing instruments learning different languages, and singing. You never understood why you wanted to learn these skill, but you were determined to be the best of the best at the end of the day, you started looking at the music industry, and that is where you found out that you wanted to be an idol.
It was easy at first without presenting any second gender, but you presented as an Omega as soon as you turned sixteen. A soon as you presented as an Omega, everything went downhill. The music industry had the idea that male Omega was not appealing for the fans, making the few male Omega have a hard time getting in. The industries like JYP, SM, YG had this policy that only female Omegas were allowed but not males.
You were bummed when you had to leave SM. You were going to 'debut' two months later after you presented, but your body decided to screw the plan. You had to pack your things and leave the building. Luckily, you had great parents that were there to support you and comfort you in your painful nightmare. Your parents were always there for you and loved you no matter what. They would never shame your goal, your beliefs, nor how you were born.
Your parents had encouraged you to keep on looking for other companies in which you did, ending up with two options Jellyfish or DSP Media. Both companies were great, but you felt a pull toward auditioning for DSP, and so you did. When you had auditioned, everything went well, and judges were annoyed about how you were treated in your old company and accepted you with open arms.
You had to complete a six-week training to polish anything that needed to be polished. You met a tall Alpha named Matthew Kim, who you were scared of at first but later learned that he was a big guy with a kind and jokey personality. Later, when you were looking for the vocal training room, you met a Jeon Ji woo girl, a beta. She was intimidating with her stunning look and how powerful her voice was, but after a couple of sessions, she had sat next to you and started speaking to you and helping each other out. You were happy with the people you have met so far. It was great, no trouble, and everyone was nice to you.
You were just scared that your secret would be displayed.

I would rather some people feel uncomfortable and embarrassed with other people's judgements about them having an age gap relationship than I would have one more girl or young woman go through being sexually groomed in their late teens/early 20s by a man ~7+ years older than her.

You wanna know what's worse than being a sexual assault victim?
Having someone accuse you of being a sexual assault victim when you never had any sexual encounters with anyone in your lifetime (as least nothing physical)
Literally just a few minutes ago, I was getting ready for bed, and the cops came over to my house. At first I thought "oh shit, did a car crash happen" since it's pretty common for accidents to happen at the intersection near my house.
Turns out, someone saw my advertisement saying that I was looking for a relationship (I am still looking for a partner btw, please check out that post if anyone's interested), and got so mad at me wanting to be in a relationship that they reported me to the police telling them that I was assaulted.
I want to make it clear: I was never sexually assaulted, nor do I recall being groomed by any particular person. I am simply a very horny femcel who had unrestricted internet access as a kid. There is no need to call the fucking cops on my ass at 11pm on a friday night because you're mad that I actually want a partner.
I feel like the "anonymous" person who did this was an ex friend that I split from weeks ago because they got all pissy at my vent blog n shit.
So here's my little message to them since they seem to love stalking my account (very long read, sorry):

You already ruined what we had when you not only ignored me for SEVERAL MONTHS on end and ignored my every attempt to try and communicate with you in the way I knew how to, but you then only came to me to complain that I was showing mentally ill traits that i can NOT control and traits you KNEW came from years of trauma that distorted my perception of relationships to where I would be willing to put myself in harm's way just to feel loved, and when you reported me to the fucking police, you basically killed any hope of me rebuilding a relationship with you.
Something I learned is that when you finally grow from being a child into being a teen, friendships and connections are very important for your development, and since I was your mostly stereotypical SPED kid with little to no social experience, I never got that, and therefore I idolized every friend I ever had up until I was about 14 years old (and even then I still had a lot of trust in them because I was so dependent on them to keep myself from being isolated forever.)
I believed that you loved me and cared about me for years, when we hung out, it felt like I was in one of those beautiful slice-of-life animes where the main character is having the best experience they could ever have. I was happy. The only exception to that was when I first developed a crush on Skyler and therefore developed homicidal thoughts against you (I didn't know it wasn't normal until years later), but even then, she got me to open up to you and love you again.
And guess what you did?
you took that trust, the trust of a venerable person with no social skills, and you just threw it out the window, like it was never important to anyone. And that fucking hurts honestly.
If i'll be honest, if I really was groomed like you are having everyone believe, then you are the groomer. You did this to me.
Just admit what has been exposed already and what everyone knows: you do not care about me or my wellbeing, you NEVER cared at all now that I think about it, and if you think that I still care for you after what you done, oh boy are you delusional (and not in the mentally ill way either). I wouldn't care if you died atp, you mean nothing to me anymore. I do not love you. If anything, I hate you.
I know there is nothing I can say to change your mind on me, but honestly, I fucking hate you, and I should've never trusted you.
I hope you fucking rot in hell you asshole. Thanks to your dumbass, my whole family now thinks that someone raped me or some shit, and it's probably on my legal record now too.
Just block me already and never try to contact me. I never want to see you again.

I see many snape stans say Snape was groomed into being a Death Eater. But there’s no canon evidence 😭. Do you think that was the case for him?
yes and no. I think the issue is that "groomed" isn't the right word, I would use "radicalised." Unfortunately it's very common for teenage boys to be radicalised into far-right beliefs and hate groups, and while it's obviously justified to apportion blame to some extent, I also think understanding why that happens is important in order to combat it. And I think that requires a certain level of nuance and empathy.
Snape had a shit home life and was mistreated even further at school. He was given the short end of the stick in many respects, I think this is undeniably true and while it doesn't justify anything, is what opened the door for him to be radicalised. Obv he is still ultimately responsible for his choices, and they were bad ones, but for me Snape as a character is an interesting parallel to a real life phenomenon.
A lot of teenaged incels are miserable, because We Live in A Society and MOST people are miserable. Instead of reaching the conclusion that this is a systemic issue and correctly identifying the problem, they're led to believe by manipulative, bad-faith actors and echo chambers that the cause of their misery is X group (women, immigrants.) Not to get academic lol but Mark Fisher's concept of "capitalist realism" explains the way that it's impossible for people to see capitalism as anything other than the norm, the default state of society, and even begin to consider that alternatives may exist. So if you're miserable under capitalism without understanding why, you look for someone else to blame. This happens all the time and right-wing politicians are constantly taking advantage of working-class people's misery in order to stir them up into populist fervour- how else are you going to get the poorest people in the US to oppose public healthcare? If you stop to think about it, it's insane.
Back to Snape, I know this is mostly my interpretation and not fully based in canon, but the way I see and write Mulciber is as an extremely manipulative person, who identified Snape early on as both highly useful and as easy prey. The fact that Mulciber specialised in the Imperius curse points to his manipulative nature for me. As does the "he wanted Mulciber" quote, Snape was clearly very invested in gaining his approval (he wanted mulciber quote my beloved). I can see him being led to believe that Muggles (his father, and everything that came from his mother's choice to marry a muggle) and wealthy progressives (James) were to blame. Ofc there is hypocrisy in this, but people aren't always fully logical.
So IN CONCLUSION, while Snape was responsible for his own choices, I think it's worthwhile to think about the other factors at play in the situation. Fiction is a way to understand things that occur in real life, after all, so it's just interesting to consider through the lens of Snape's character.
