My DC Marathon of Events From “Watchmen” to “Doomsday Clock”
Because I had purchased “Flashpoint” and “Zero Hour: Crisis in Time” at my local comic store yesterday, I can add them to the books I read as part of my marathon of DC books beginning with “Watchmen” and ending with “Doomsday Clock”. Here is what I put in my list. In sports, when a teammate talks back to coach, shows up late, or makes a stupid mistake, everyone is punished, normally through conditioning. Sometimes, the teammate who made the mistake is the only one to sit out so that the team is even more mad at them and they feel guilty; it is better incentive to stop the behavior than if only you were being punished.
Everytime the Justice League does any of the aforementioned bad behaviors (which are a little higher risk when superhero-ing), the entire team has to fight Batman without powers. You REALLY don't want to make stupid mistakes in the Justice League because no one wants both Wonder Woman and Superman annoyed at you.
One of them time traveling situations where all the bat boys (Bruce, Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian) become 12 .
The Justice League knows that explaining stuff to the Robins will be easy but they're nervous about Bruce's reaction.
Clark: -and that's what's happening. Any questions?
12 year old Bruce: Yes! It works!
Everyone, including his Robins, are confused as Bruce explains that he has been going out in home-made tact gear for the last two years and just fucking shit up. He regularly beats up grown men by just dropping onto their heads, he hangs out with Detective Gordon to solve murders (and get free juice boxes), and he randomly plants money to help Gotham's poor.
Bruce is just excited to know that he's become even COOLER in the future and now he has a family ^_^
(Everyone else is now understanding why he didn't think it was weird to have Robin side kicks.)

“Lois is sleeping with an alien! lois is sleeping with an alien!” so is clark. clark’s biological home planet was blown up and he was sent away just before it did and was adopted on an alien planet by aliens. clark is just an alien on this planet. they are both sleeping with aliens by sleeping with each other.

I restarted Batman Lego 3, and something I never understood as a kid was why Cyborg says the following:
“Or I’ll tell everyone Green Lantern is yellow”
… IT IS BECAUSE HE WAS CALLING HIM SCARED! YELLOW IS FEAR! HE WAS GOING TO TELL EVERYONE THAT HE WAS TOO SCARED TO USE THE PORTAL
Hal, interrupting Barry mid-sentence: Hold up. You were in Gotham? Batman’s Gotham? ‘No-Meta-in-Gotham’ Gotham?

Green Lantern, thinking about how he’s going to kill The Flash: You want me to go in there *gestures to open manhole* In the sewer. To fight an alligator.
Batman: Killer Croc is a man
Green Lantern: That looks like a crocodile and eats people.
Batman: Yes.
Green Lantern: What about him? Make him do it *gestures to Red Robin*
Red Robin: Can’t
Batman: He can’t.
Green Lantern: Why not?
Red Robin: Don’t have a spleen
Batman: He doesn’t have a spleen.
Green Lantern:
Red Robin, over coms: Did you guys hear that? Green Lantern just told me he wants me to fucking die
Coms: *explodes as everybody speaks at once*
I like to think that Jason and Hal have a very close and strong friendship. If Jason ever needs help without getting a lecture he’ll probably call Hal.
Jason and Roy are dating, he told Hal first. Scratch the Batmobile? Hid at Hal’s place.
If asked Jason says his favorite JL members are either Winder Woman or Green Lantern. (Though it did start out as a way to piss off Batman)
