the reason we’re seeing so much “afab transfem” stuff recently is because the people using the term consider trans women to be “men that feel like women” instead of women who happen to have been assigned male at birth. if they considered us as our actual genders, they would realise that identifying as a trans woman is nonsensical when you were assigned female at birth; like a short woman “identifying” as a tall woman. Instead, these people consider themselves “women that feel like men that feel like women” — maybe not in those words, but that is the concept they are intending to evoke. obviously, it goes without saying, but this is incredibly transmisogynistic.

Why do The Amazing Digital Circus and Psychonauts share a vibe to me? I just feel, like, "Ah, yes, these two are the same texture"
For reference:
I attach emotions and senses to everything I interact with. For instance, Gravity Falls smells like early morning summer air and is an orange-y color with deep blue outlines.
TADC is a well made plastic and a vibrant red and blue at once, like an action figure/toy. It also kinda feels(tastes) like licking a battery, but not overwhelmingly.
Psychonauts has a very similar texture, except the plastic is one of those 'take it apart, put it together' toys, so its all worn down and warm. Its a pinkish red, like maroon, but pinker- The first game feels like going hiking with someone you love, the vr game feels like a very heavy jello, and what I've seen of the second feels like anxiety

As of midnight, I can no longer edit my posts. I didn't even update the app, and installing the new update didn't fix it. So I looked it up and apparently, in some "genius'" infinite wisdom they thought doing this was a good idea. What the actual f***‽ The bizarre thing, is that when you tap the link, the above information shown on Google search, isn't even posted there. I opened it in chrome and used "Find in Page" just to be sure.
I'm new to Tumblr and this change has me thinking about leaving, and I mean strongly thinking about it. Why would you ever think that removing post editing was a good idea? 🤦
