I feel like I desperately need to talk about the Minecraft Movie right now. Here are my points.
I was absolutely astonished to see the overworld at that first glance until the live action humans appeared which kinda sucked the hopes and dreams right out of me.
WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT SHEEP!?!? I mean, I see everyone hating on the CGI work but to be honest it's still much better than it was like 20 years ago. It's not as bad as ugly sonic at least but still.
One thing that deeply concerns me are the villagers. Are they gonna be blocky or live action? Can they speak English or just say 'Hrmm' for everything?? The only thing that can make the villagers likeable for me is if they were all voiced by the guy who voices them on Element Animation.
What did that guy craft and how????? All I saw was a scrambled mess of iron and cobblestone and it turned into two bucket attached with a chain!? THATS NOT HOW CRAFTING WORKS!!!
I honestly dig the piglins. They remind me of the bokoblins from Zelda which is cool.

Smth that infuriates me about the streamer/mcyt community is that pretty privilege is so real.
With the Wilbur situation dying down and the freaks who still choose to support the Brighton biter becoming more open and comfortable I have to point out the fact that if William Gold was not conventionally attractive he and his band of terrible people would not still be making money.
They would not support a man who didn’t clean his home and lived with bugs just to wait for his girlfriend to clean it, bit his girlfriend to the point of the need for a safe word (which he ignored!), and was so selfish to only care about fame if he were ugly.
A Wilbur defender just proved my point about the extreme bias in the mcyt community.
I was sent a VERY lengthy ask defending him and I am honestly disappointed that people can be so ignorant.
I am not in the mcyt community what so ever but I was very active in it at its peak and I have been shown time and time again that people will jump to defend a ‘hot’ man and shame, bully, and threaten a victim off of the internet for the sake of keeping their precious ‘baby boys🥺’ safe.
They are GROWN men.
Stop supporting abusers.
The actions of creators in this community are honestly appalling and so are the people who victim blame.
This is the last I will say on the matter because it honestly makes me sick how far people will go to defend terrible people.
(Update from the morning after I posted this: the person sent 2 more asks, this time with their account public, and i was right. They sent more paragraphs saying “I pray you are right because what would it look like if you were wrong” well dear user I would delete my posts and apologize but from the behavior of William gold and his friends I can tell that will not happen. They then went on to apologize in the second ask saying “I just watched a sad cat video” and they felt bad for any hurt they may have caused me but they still think I’m wrong. Wtf is with incels these days???)
