izuku pushed puppy out of the way and got wounded. puppy is not happy about that. he rememberd the ‘good hooman’ that visited the shore every night in case he sees his ‘water hooman’ again. ‘hooman’ worried about ‘water hooman’ means he might help. now puppy is racing for the shore in hopes of finding ‘good hooman’.
also surprise quirk! puppy is one of the few quirked animals in the world. does that have anything to do with the reason they were attacked?

working on a new seokjin fic that i hoped to have time to finish to post it on his birthday ~ but it'll be impossible unfortunately being an adult SUCKS ASS my work sucks the light out of me most days and i don't have as much time to write as i'd want to.
but it's a new exes to lovers au (maybe it's my favorite trope guys ? who knows) with the good old amount of angst we all love RIGHT

G'day Good Girl Officer it says on your door,a hopefully you are well, just sitting here in Australia and thought I would ask if you have heard of Vera Brittain who was in university in England while WW l started and all her close friends from university and they were male friends signed up so she joined the volunteer nursing corps and went to the war in Europe and it's a great read called The Testament of Youth, plus she wrote more books anyway it could be read to you at bedtime if you like. His voice cut in and out of the comms link, the connection seeming a bit scrambled. "Please, Shiro! I need your help!"
So... when Jazz and her newborn baby were taken by a cult she wasn't... too worried. Okay yes of course she was worried about her baby in the hands of the people who knocked her out cold when they broke into her home and seem to want to use HER baby as a vessel for some evil entity to bring the apocalypse BUT she knows her husband's patrol routes like the back of her hand, knows when Jason likes to drop by to check on them (with maybe another bat or bird with him, he begrudgingly allowed cause they wanna see the littlest batbaby) and knows he and the rest of the batfam had been alerted and are on their way, she knows this. And if they don't come soon she has ways to get out of these bindings and saving her baby (no anti ghost things at all, so she's good with going liminal on them if need be)
HOWEVER Jazz stops when she realizes the summoning circle they're planning on using... and knows damn well who they're going to bring to this plane of the realms...
It's been a good long while since she saw her brother. And this will give her a chance to actually introduce him to his nephew/niece instead of just sending him pictures.

Jason really wasn't expecting, as he showed up to the warehouse the cult (THEY TOOK HIS WIFE AND KID. NO B, HE WILL NOT CALM THE FUCK DOWN, HES TAKING THEM ALL OUT FOR THIS! THEY'RE GONNA USE HIS KID TO BE A VESSEL FOR A GHOST KING) was using guns blazing, to find the cult members all frozen in solid chunks of ice that would make even Mr. Freeze envious of meanwhile his wife cheerfully chatting with a glowing, floating, blue faced with star like freckles being with a glowing crown and space cloak... whose making silly faces at his kid and playing peek-a-boo (by actually disappearing and reappearing)
Okay but you COULD do a Dracula episode of Leverage and it would be hilarious.
I would do it like this. We'd have some wrong place wrong time protagonist called Jonathan who keeps accidentally witnessing parts of the con in such a way that they appear to him to replicate the events of Dracula. Like, the crew has inhabited some castle but Oh No, the mark's innocent little lawyer man is here, can't let him catch on
Sophie yeets the mirror because our friend Jonathan is about to accidentally see the crew hard at work behind him and she panics. "Oh you don't need this honey" or whatever (something something man's vanity)
He happens to open the window and Parker is just climing the castle like a lizard because that's. What she does
Nate is in an Old Guy disguise for one part of the con, but then Jonathan Not In On It happens to see him out of costume and WTF WTF WHY IS HE GETTING YOUNGER
Letters with fake dates make perfect sense when it's a con
Gets home happens to see the Leverage crew just walking around for the next part of the con, freaks tf out
Quincey Morris is exactly the kind if character Eliot would play
Sophie gets made, decides to have an elaborate Death Scene wherein Elliot and Hardison (as a "definitely licensed doctor") "help" the Mark try to "save" her
Parker plays Hardison's "assistant" but she plays it very VERY Renfield. Jonathan swears he can see her eating bugs (maybe it's a com that she panics and pretends to eat to not give away the game)
Poor Jonathan again sees her up and about post death scene and is like WTF WTF WTF
Eventually they cotton on to what has happened and Elliot (who hasn't been made yet) promises to help Jonathan kill the vampire once and for all
All of their aliases are drawn from Dracula and this is not played as intentional in-universe
Anyway, the whole thrust is that it's a perfectly normal Leverage episode except for one guy who, due to an increasingly unfortunate series of coincidences, believes he is in the novel Dracula. Like Rear Window, only it's Leverage Dracula.
