I can’t take it seriously when people say Annabeth needs Percy to “bring out her humanity” when she’s the most painfully human character in the entire series

Annabeth didn’t give up on searching for Percy when he went missing because he didn’t give up on her. When she fell off the cliff in TTC, Percy immediately set out to find her. He didn’t care about some stupid quest or how many enemies he had to fight. He wasn’t going back to camp without her. He wasn’t going to stop searching until he found her. Annabeth returned the favor, searching for him for 8+ months because she knew he’d never give up on her. She knew that if the roles were reversed, Percy would tear the world in half just to find her. And she would gladly do the same. She would walk through Tartarus a million times over if it meant that he would be ok.

Annabeth: Percy, this isn’t a jail
Percy: Can they get out?
Annabeth: Well, no-
Percy: *Points at penguin* I bet that one killed somebody
Why do people think Annabeth cooks in the relationship?
I mean she can do many things but she ran away when she was seven and she didn't really need to cook at camp but shes good at cleaning due to cabin checks so Annabeth is the one that cleans in the relationship most likely
And why do people think Percy can't cook?
Percy most likely cooks because I'm sure Sally had other jobs where she might have needed to take night shifts and if not Percy being the little momas boy he is he probably just wanted to learn so he wouldn't bug his mom or his mom taught him. Percy is the one that cooks in the relationship.
I love big brother Percy as much as the next person but we have to acknowledge the fact that Percy has a strong smell and attracts monsters more meaning Percy probably thought of leaving to keep his little sister safe. Percy is loyal and hates when the people he loves are in danger so Percy asking his mom if he should leave so they could be safe isn't as far fetched as some might think. Percy loves his family and would do anything for them and that probably includes leaving if he has to. I'm just saying he probably thought about it at one point and most likely had a conversation with his mom about but Sally being the amazing mom she is was not going to let Percy leave. Also with how Percy is I wouldn't put it past him to feel out of place or even feeling bad for being there and ruining their family plans by attracting monsters. Just Percy not being sure if he fits in with his family and the same applies to Annabeth as it had happen to her and Annabeth giving the same advice that Percy her about family and how their worth it.
"Annabeth would keep her last name", "Annabeth would hyphenate hers and Percy's name together", "Percy would take Annabeth last name", I don't think Annabeth would want to keep her father's last name. Annabeth has a very complicated relationship with her father and even though it got better it's not really the best father daughter relationship. Annabeth has said that she does go to Sally and I'm pretty sure that Annabeth went to visit Sally about Percy when he went missing to comfort eachother. Sally loves Annabeth like her own daughter and I know Annabeth has said that she loves her dad and is happy she tried to fix it that does not erase everything that Annabeth went through when she was a child. Annabeth's dad never really chose her and it did effect her in the future. Her dad left her behind to start a family but never thought of her until later on in her life when SHE tried to reconnect. Annabeth is very close to Percy's family and it is possible that she would want to change her name to Jackson when she gets married to Percy. Percy chose her over everything while everyone else in Annabeth's life chose everything but her. Her dad, like, her mom, everyone close to her chose someone else while Percy chose her. I don't think she wouldn't want to have the last of someone that left her behind as a kid. She loves her dad don't get me wrong but she can still love someone but choose a name of person that has loved her and a family that welcomed her. I just think Annabeth would choose to change her name from Annabeth Chase to Annabeth Jackson if her and Percy decide to get married.

Underrated Percabeth moment. A reminder that Annabeth doesn't just tolerate Percy's humor, she loves him for it. At their most desperate, when they're close to death, when everything seems hopeless, he can still make her laugh.

During Percy and Annabeth’s time at the University of New Rome they spend the summer in New York/Camp Half-Blood. They split their time between the camp and the city so Percy can see his mom. They love being able to go to college in the safety of Camp Jupiter but they’ll always call Camp Half-Blood home.

I am doing this thing with my bestie (who has unfortunately never read the books) where we watch every episode and after that I ask her who she thinks the traitor will be and why. So far, Annabeth. Just Annabeth.

Update I was showing her my saved tiktok videos and there was a spoiler I didn't see coming. Now she doesn't talk to me (she didn't even want to watch the series before fifth episode)

Ok people. I just watched the final PJO episode. Beeing Greek myself, I cringed. Just a bit. With the accents of Zeus and Poseidon. But everything else is okay.
Great episode. Annabeth and Percy bonding, Poseidon being a real father, Luke....
Still painful to think about Luke. I mean, I've read all the books. Still...
