And yeah, even the weird attitude about who is "batfam" and who isn't was an screaming red flag to me. Personally I consider them all bats, because that's how their dynamic is. Now, asking WHO considers that they have a familiar bond is very different. As example: Jean-Paul is a bat ("batfam") but he has never shown to see anyone as family besides Cass, which was influenced by them having similar backgrounds and bonding over it.

Steph and Babs ARE bats, and they should never be limited to their role because of Tim or Dick. Just because Babs has a dad and doesn't consider Bruce a father, doesn't mean she isn't (canonically) a pillar of the bats and considered invaluable by Bruce.

Now, about BatJokes. I am a huge BatJokes (and Clex too) fan. Truth is that I don't go around considering if a ship is "darker" than another, I guess I simply run into ships I find interesting (for example Ra'sTim or SlaTara) and then, when they grow into me, I analyze their dynamic etc. So while I don't consider BatJokes more "problematic" than let's say BruDick, I find it very hypocrite to support the first one and attack the second, when in reality, censorship hates them both.

Like sure, you can like some ships and others not and it's valid to find things uncomfortable but GOD the hypocrisy here is Hannibal fans who are anti shipping level!!!

The anti rethoric has brainwashed so many people that some fans think "It applies to them but not me because -" and reality is that they will be burned as witches too when the antis come as they always do.

I'm wonder if Sunny's crush on Mari ever got acknowledged in the Headspace. I don't think he'd be the type to indulge in it (he'd feel guilty for seeing his sister that way, not to mention undeserving of her love) but I do wonder if sometimes it just... Bleeds in accidentally. If they ever have moments that might be just a tad too romantic for siblings. If Mari ever says something he wishes he could say to her.

I don't normally engage in fandom wars, but I think, as long as you don't harass anyone in real life and as long as no one in real life is in danger or is harmed, how you enjoy fictional things is none of my business. and I'm not gonna make any "call out post" where I encourage my followers to harass you because you like fucked up fictional things that I personally don't like or believe is wrong either.

I mean, from personal experience, I was exposed against my will to thing I didn't want to see from anti's screenshot of fanart or fanfic where they encourage their followers to harass this person whose fanart or fanfic, that was screenshot and spread by them, was originally tagged properly with all the trigger warnings so that people who didn't want to see it wouldn't get exposed to it. until anti screenshot it and flaunted it around in the name of being morally superior while also, at the same time, advocated for the witch hunt against someone who just wanted to mind their own business. so... the irony. lol

fandoms used to be more peaceful before Fandom Police starts their witch hunting, but it's a good thing we can just block these people and keep on enjoying our blorbos however we want to enjoy them.
