I love Gabi so much. Her character is so beautiful and important, and I feel like the story simply would not be complete without her.
She wanted to free everyone from the internment zones. She wanted to prove that Eldians weren't devils, that they were good people. She wanted freedom. But Marley took this wish for freedom and twisted it to their benefit.
And suddenly, Marley wasn't the oppressor anymore, it was the Eldians from Paradis. The people of Paradis were devils, monsters. But she was different. The Eldians from Marley were different. They were good people. And so, in order to be free, in order to be respected, in order to be happy, they had to get rid of the devils of Paradis. Everything was their fault, not Marley's. Marley was good and correct. Being loyal to Marley meant being cleansed of her ancestors' sins.
It meant being a good Eldian.
It meant being free.
So she trains for Marley. She fights for Marley. She kills for Marley. And she feels no regret, because it's all for the sake of freedom. Her freedom, and everyone else's. Once she kills the devils of Paradis, the good Eldians will be free.
But then she actually gets to Paradis Island. She meets Kaya and the Blouse family. And they're kind. They're good. Kaya even offers to help her and Falco. She gets to the restaurant. A Marleyan....in love with an Eldian. The soldier she killed was a part of the Blouse's family. She expects them to hate her. But they forgive her. They treat her injuries. And they're kind and good and all the things she was taught they were not.
They're normal people just like the Eldians back home. Just like her family, and Falco. Just like her.
There's a lot more after this, but it's the realization that the people of Paradis are normal people who just want to live that makes her character change and that makes her so precious in my eyes.
She's no longer fighting for what Marley wants.
She's fighting for what she wants.
I love Gabi so much, and all I want for her is happiness and freedom and love.
I hope she finds it someday.
TL;DR: Gabi Braun is amazing and she deserves to live happily ever after with Falco.

Floch is the reason Sasha died
and here's why
After everyone got back onto the airship, Floch wanted to celebrate their "victory." Anyone with an ounce of logic should know not to count your chickens before they hatch, and definitely to not celebrate whilst in enemy territory. They may have achieved their main goal, but they hadn't won just yet.
Floch got excited too quickly and started to get rowdy, making the soldiers around him (other than Jean, Sasha, and Connie) get rather excited. As they celebrated, they forgot about possible dangers that could come at them unprepared. Floch made them unprepared, he helped them lose their guard.
While they all cheered, Sasha hears Gabi hit the ship and tells Jean. Jean tells the soldiers to calm down and be quiet because he knows that Sasha has rather keen senses. Jean knows well that Sasha's senses are important, and if she hears something, she's not making it up. Sasha is a goofy character, but she and Jean become very close. Jean knows that Sasha doesn't joke around in serious situations.
Sasha had been raised as a hunter, so she knows very well to be wary in the unfamiliar ground, so she never let her guard down. Jean knows this, having worked with her and her senses for so long. He knows that if she hears something, then Everyone should be on guard.
Jean tries to quiet the soldiers, but in their excitement, they ignore/don't hear him. Who caused that excitement, again? Floch. If they hadn't become rowdy, they would have kept their guards up, even if a bit. They would have been able to hear Sasha say she heard something, and they might even have been able to hear the sound of Gabi crashing into the ship. If they had been on guard, they could have reacted faster to Gabi boarding the ship, and Sasha would have survived. It took a second for Gabi to board and aim, and in that second, Sasha would have been able to evade the bullet, Jean wouldn't have missed, and Gabi wouldn't be the most hated character. Gabi shot in a blind rage, the blind rage of seeing her friends die. She Aimed in a split second, meaning that she was aiming for the middle of the group, not Sasha. Gabi just wanted to avenge her friends, even if she went about it in the wrong way.

The third key visua of SnK’s fourth and final season has been revealed! It features Gabi, Falco, Levi, Jean, Mikasa, Armin, Connie, Sasha, Hanji, Attack Titan, Armored Titan, Jaw Titan, Cart Titan, Warhammer Titan, and Beast Titan post-timeskip.
The Final Season is being animated by Studio MAPPA and will begin airing on NHK-G, Crunchyroll, and Funimation on December 6th, 2020.

For me this is the moment when everything stops being the same.
Not when Eren leaves paradise.
It's when Sasha takes her last breath and everything starts getting more dark in the world of snk
When this happened in the manga I spent days feeling sad.
Sasha had the purest heart of all
It's hard when a character as loving and warm-hearted as Sasha dies in such a cold and violent way.
It's difficult to let go of a character that you, as a reader, feel so close.
Because Sasha was from the beginning a character that somehow I felt like I wanted to protect and one of the things I love most about snk is Sasha and Connie's relationships. I am so grateful to see in an anime a soulmate relationship between a girl and a boy with no romance in between and It breaks my heart to think of Connie 😭😭
But the story must go on...
And at the end I'm actually really thankful that it was Gabi. A kid victim of war. A kid who lost her friends in front of her eyes and who saw her home being destroyed.
Sasha's death was a necessary death. Despite being unfair and cruel and heartbreaking, this had to happen...
But I miss her so much already :'(
